Serg's Mexican Kitchen was located in Midtown Eats, a new food court located at the base of a newly constructed luxury high rise. I decided to go here since my friend recommended their "DA CUZN" deep fried cali burrito. I don't think he remembered that I came from Southern California though, and therefore their burrito just wasn't up to standard. The fries in the burrito was soggy, and I wished there was more guacamole. The al pastor didn't have the seasoning kick either and seemed bland. Overall, was not really an authentic Mexican food experience. Can't recommend this place on good conscious.

If you like Serg's Manoa location, their new location is the same, but different. The carnitas flauta, rice, and beans were exactly how I remember them. The chimichanga looked and tasted the same too. It's the same menu, same food. The difference is everything else. Easy parking, indoor, air conditioned seating, a convenient location, and free salsa! While Manoa has fond memories, the next time I want Serg's I'll definitely head to k-town.

Serg's is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Sometimes it can get busy especially on the weekends but it's worth the wait. My favorites are the Chimichanga, flautas, and taco salad with shredded beef. There's adequate outdoor seating and parking.

Serg's in mid town eats it's just what the doctor ordered. If you like nice+ takeout Mexican food, they do a good job. Everything tasted yummy. Service was excellent. Prices reasonable.

Mexican cuisine in Honolulu, Hawaii... The Grand Opening of Midtown Eats (Food Hall) is today, January 17, 2026, Saturday. Located on the Ground Level of The Park on Keeaumoku, parking in the structure is free for now. The entrance is on Liona Street. Later, the vendors will validate for 2 hours. One of the vendors is Serg's Mexican Kitchen, an established business. The original location of Serg's is in Manoa. I like this air-conditioned, spacious, clean, brightly lit environment better than the original location. Here at Midtown Eats, you'll find the same good quality and efficient, friendly service. The cashier even told me the door code for the women's restroom (6688*). I enjoyed the freshly grilled Fish Taco, horchata (non-dairy drink), and elote (corn). The horchata was not watered down and the corn was flavorful! Ordering on the kiosk was simple. I had the opportunity to choose grilled or battered fish. I also chose to have my elote with everything on it: mayonnaise, cheese, and tajin. Note: Cashless payment tends to avoid potential human errors such as making change for cash payments and forgetting to ask how you want your elote and fish taco!

Not my 1st rodeo with Serg's Mexican Kitchen, but it was my very first time with this new location of Serg's Mexican Kitchen at the Midtown Eats food court. I love this new location, as Serg's inside of the food court appears to be much cleaner than the original Manoa location. Same menu offerings with many delicious items, but as a creature of habit, I went straight for the burrito. Chicken burrito of course, as my burrito was loaded with grilled chicken, pico de gallo, & guacamole. Throw some hot sauce on da burrito, and ya got sustenance city baby!!!! My burrito plate also came with black beans & Spanish rice. This location is very popular & busy, but the wonderful staff was very friendly and efficient in serving all the hungry patrons. Jonesing for some Mexican? Give Serg's Mexican Kitchen a try!

See you at Serg's - Midtown Eats! Spotted Serg's Mexican Kitchen during our initial visit before the grand opening of this new food court at The Park on Keeaumoku. We ordered the chicken enchiladas and steak special burrito, both of which were served with beans and rice. Service was excellent - staff very helpful and pleasant, even as it got increasingly busy during the lunch rush. With our palates satisfied, we vowed to return. On our return visit, we ordered Fish ala Veracruz and Ralph's Fish Burrito (choice of breaded or grilled fish). Was nice to see Bruddah Fran dining nearby! Serg's offers $3 and $4 tacos on Taco Tuesday and Happy Hour 3-5 pm weekdays except Tuesday. Parking currently available free in the garage, entrances on Liona and Rycroft. Hope parking remains free.

Mexican? Kinda. Unfortunately the food suffers from problems with basic cooking (dry chicken) to the definitely different like putting mashed potatoes in a burrito. Enchiladas (shredded chicken), a friends dish, he ate one bite of a dry enchilada, one soggy chip, but all of the rice saying it was actually good before discarding the rest. The fried burrito, a first! A cottage pie (a shepherd's pie with beef) with plenty of small chunks of beef and fat, mashed potato, a smear of guac, the smallest amount of salsa as veg, and lots of cheese). It's not Mexican but it was oddly addicting albeit different. Very easy kiosk ordering with a logical UI. Intuitive sub menus with all available customization for each dish easily understandable. Fulfillment within 20 minutes despite people ordering directly from the business instead of the kiosk. OK counter service. Be sure to grab utensils, salsa, hot sauce, etc before leaving. None in their packaging. Sustenance and better than the frozen stuff you'd find in a supermarket.

Today for lunch at Midtown Eats I decided to check out Serg's Mexican. In ordered their steak burrito and my wife had their Chimichanga . It was very filling I hardly finished my meal with the Mexican rice and the beans with a huge burrito with steak , onions, tomato, and cheese @ $16.95 pretty good deal . Service was a little slow but understandable because they just opened and they still need to iron out all the faults . All the eateries card only no cash Just a friendly reminder Support local

    Birria taco 5/5 stars
    Jackie K.

New Serg's Kitchen location in Midtown Eats. It's located midway inside the new food court. Street level access which is located on the ground floor of The Park on Keeaumoku. I was recommended by its employee to try the Birria smoked meat taco. Freshly made to order. It was a big hit with me! A burst of smoked Birria meat and savory flavors explode into a perfect and delicious taco extraordinaire! Mind you, I don't enjoy onions in general, but this was sweet sautéed onions, the shredded smoked Birria meat, guacamole, and cilantro on a cheese covered crispy tortilla! A squeeze of lemon on top and you have a fiesta of flavors. This is a must try, but please try it hot and fresh off the grill! 5/5 stars. Side note: As I entered the food court, I was greeted by Yelp buddy Li Y. She was sweet enough to share a taste of the Nopales from Serg's. This is a side dish that is made with pickled onions, cactus, cilantro, and feta (?) cheese sprinkled on top. You need to enjoy pickled vegetables for this side dish. It's strongly flavored and not for the faint of heart. For myself, this was a 3/5 star rating. Disclosure, I'm not a pickled vegetable fan so this is good lol. Street parking and building parking available at The Park, however, I didn't notice any validation offered by the food vendors. One foodie enthusiast that I met there today, 01/09/26 said to us that the security guard informed him that there was no parking charge right now. Please call and check first if you decide to park your vehicle inside The Park. This location is a wonderful extension to the already popular Serg's Kitchens in East Manoa. Bathrooms are located near Mangiamo Gelato. You will need to request a bathroom code. Great attentive and friendly service here! 5/5 stars Support local!

    Nopale goodness !

Serg's Mexican brick and mortar located in the back of Manoa Valley. So happy they have now also opened up at the new Midtown Eats Food Court located in the Park on Keeamoku. Currently open and serving from a full menu, one can enjoy taco salads, burritos, tacos, even their popular flautas. I was thrilled that today they also had their often sold out nopales. Enjoyed this side which is mainly cactus seasoned with white onions, cilantro, cheese... this dish definitely has a kick to it! Served cold, it complimented well the burger which I purchased from another vendor. Also enjoyed a sample of their horchata. While it was a bit too sweet for me, it was a nice touch to their soft opening. Staff was friendly yet efficient which was a good thing because it seemed there was a constant line. They mentioned that they are planning to have happy hour as well as taco Tuesday discounts but not sure when that will actually start. They are currently in their soft opening phase with the grand opening scheduled for Jan 15, a week from now. Parking lot entrance to the Park is located on Liona and Rycroft streets. Noticed the gate is currently open on Liona Street with free in and out privileges. Once the gate is closed, parking will be free for the first half hour and, with validation for two hours. Love the easy access and free and easy parking. Spaces are large and plentiful. Just be sure to read tbe signs as some of the spaces are restricted. Park on the second floor and just go down the escalator !

I'm a huge fan of serg's and used to really enjoy going to their Manoa location! I'm sooo happy they opened one in town & will definitely be eating a lot more serg's now lol. My usual order is the birria quesadilla, or a burrito (their portions are the best & shareable!!) I happened to come on taco Tuesday & got to try an assortment of their street tacos. Honestly not my favorite item from them, but maybe I'm just not a taco person. We tried the asada, chorizo, verde, and carnitas tacos. My fav was the chorizo & verde, just because they were a bit more moist & flavorful. The rest were okay only, not sure if it's because this was the first taco Tuesday at a new location? The salsas were soooo good though. Definitely try their verde salsa. The employees were so kind & there's ample seating in the gorgeous food hall. I'll be following this up with another review because their other items are seriously so good!! They always hit the spot!

    Famous Flauta
    Sunny V.

We went to the soft opening and although it was busy we were greeted right away! You order at the counter and there's food court style open seating. The menu has a lot of different options and I like that they have Jarritos and horchata. They have a happy hour Monday-Friday 3PM-5PM excluding Tuesdays. I ordered the Famous Flauta and was not disappointed. The beans and rice had nice flavor and definitely all for salsa on the side or the spicy sauce.

Parking in town can be tough if you want street parking so rather than stress I just parked across the street in a public garage. Walking up to fete we didn't even realize we had arrived. There was no signage out front but there was a huge hanging F above the front door. Unfortunately it was windy when I went so it was blowing around and I missed it. For those who also have boy eyes like me, it's on the corner of Hotel and Nuuanu right next to Pizza Mamo. There was indoor and outdoor seating as well as bar seating. I had made a reservation for indoor and we were seated immediately. Tables are on the small side so prepare for crowding. Our waiter was extremely friendly and provided us with suggestions as well as the daily specials. I ordered the special (prosciutto wrapped mahi mahi) and my companions ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the kanpachi for the mains. We also got the quinoa cakes and a baked oyster special for our starters. Prosciutto Mahi Mahi was so delicious. I also tried a little of the other dishes and loved the kanpachi. The carbonara was soooo black peppery I did not enjoy it. Quinoa cakes were good, nothing phenomenal. The baked oyster was a pleasant surprise as I usually only like raw oysters but they were seasoned well and not overdone. Would definitely recommend Fete if you're looking for a trendier place to go that not only is Instagram worthy but also has good food and drinks.

Prime rib sandwich came with salad and au jus sauce and a side of salad. It's good but also very filling. I didn't try the burger or teriyaki chicken but was told both were delicious. After dinner, we ordered a few items from the bakery to eat on the plane. You have to take a number and wait for them to call it. I got 2 kouign Amannn, 2 Dubai coco puff, and half dozen green tea puff. The kouign amann is a circular croissant. I liked that it was soft and flaky and had a sweet, crispy glaze over it. The Dubai coco puff had a strong pistachio crunchy flavor but I thought it was way too sweet for me personally. The Star of the show are the green tea cream puffs! We were actually asked about 3 times by 3 different servers if we wanted a different drink besides water, which was ok with us. We appreciated them being very attentive to each table's needs. Food: 10/10. I ordered the Veggie Eggs Benedict and it tasted really good. I liked how the ingredients taste fresh and how the benny complemented very well with the potatoes. I also sampled my brother's fried rice and it was amazing. The Extreme Mess was flavorful too, a little bit on the saltier side for me but my boyfriend enjoyed it. Ambiance: We were seated outside but it was covered and well-ventilated. The place is well-maintained and clean, and has a "local brunch place" vibe which I liked. Parking: We lucked out and got parking at the available space by their lot, around 11am on a Saturday. There's also street parking available.

It was so sad this business is closing down by Oct 31st. With rising food costs, inflation and…read morestaffing, it's understandable but I wish best endeavors for Chef Jason Peel and his staff. My fiance won a gift card actually 2 of them (from his coworker whom could not get a reservation secured), we knew we had to make the trip over before they officially close. We had multiple dishes, but staff made Kauai prawns and tomato miso black cod dishes on the house since they ran out the Hokkaido scallops. We ordered the short ribs, lobster appetizer, hamachi crudo and lastly sashimi moriawase to finish food palate. Lukki lemon dessert was great way to end to night. Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor. Both me and my fiance liked the lukki lemon dessert, like lemon meringue pie but broken down version. If you have a chance to dine here before closing and got a reservation, definitely will have a lovely dining experience and your stomach will be full by end of the night.

The staff were friendly and very helpful with giving us recommendations. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 entrees, and honestly it was too much food for us. We had leftovers for breakfast the next day! - For appetizers we got: Ulu Tots, Japanese Eggplant, and Corn Beignets. The Corn Beignets was the best. - For entree we got: Tomato Miso Black Cod and the Short Rib. Both were delicious and worth a try. Sad to see that this restaurant appears to be closing.
