Great place! Very inexpensive. I always stick with breakfast when I go here and it has always been good. Even better, you can usually get out the door for under $10 for 2 people before tip. My son ordered grilled cheese sandwich with fries. The waitress brought it out not knowing there was a piece of "something burnt (other than fries)" in the fries. This used to be my go-to coney breakfast place but I've had such bad service so many times in a row I have cut myself off. Morning breakfast specials before 11am are a good deal. But good luck getting food the way you ordered it and in a timely fashion. Col's or Leo's are much better choices. read more

I've been going to Sero's for at least 20 years, and even though I moved out of the neighborhood I still make the trip across town at least once a month for their moussaka and stuffed grape leaves. The service can be a little slow at busy times, but I've never had bad service or food. If you want delicious, well-cooked food at a reasonable price, look no further. They also make authentic Greek dishes, which I highly recommend. Their red sauce is the best in the area. Don't let the other reviews fool you, this is a great place. read more

I literally made a yelp account to tell you how terrible the food is here. There are tons of choices because literally everything is frozen and reheated. Side of veggies? That would be a veggie mixture from a frozen bag. The freshest things in the restaurant are the tears of the people who have to eat the food. Sure it's affordable, but so is Ramen. read more

Sero's might be a bit too plain to be my favorite restaurant, but I've probably eaten there more times than any other place ever. It is, above all, dependable. Clean and comfortable. The food's always good. Never had anything I've disliked. Simple, scrumptious burgers. Great omelettes. Magnificent strawberry shortcake. And the service couldn't be better. Grandpa and I went there long enough, all the waitresses doted on him, and we still spend time chatting when they've got a moment. Plus, one thing I think a lot of restaurants don't value: quiet. There's two TVs, but the volume's not blaring. No radio. You can sit and think by yourself, or have a relaxing conversation. Sero's is the kind of place that feels like coming home. The kind of place where, if no one knows what they want, and someone suggests we go to Sero's again, immediate agreement. read more

I like this place for breakfast corned beef and swiss omelet is awsome good and the big breakfast special is pretty good as well, i also enjoy the occasional chicken strip pita for lunch no lettuce considering its usually brown anyways, but i have to agree most the dinners are not horrid but not that great either i still eat there about once a week read more

At lunch, they have specials that are (don't tell them I said this) inexpensive. Often their lunch specials comes with a soft drink in the price. They also have senior specials. That, along with their regular menu means a wide variety of inexpensive choices. Today, I ordered their Monterray chicken, no sauce on the rice. I saw what I thought was sauce on the chicken - no, it was melted mozzarella cheese that made the meal a wonderful treat. Really, you won't go wrong here. read more

Last 4 years I have been visiting this restaurant with my family for breakfast and it was one of our favorite places for breakfast. Today morning I went there again and order Vegetarian Omlete without any tomatoes and onion. When I got my order, I saw that onion were still there in the omelet and I wanted to call the server and tell her about it but then I ignored it and started eating. After a couple of bites, I realized that the pieces which I was assuming as onion was actually meat but I was still confused so I called the server and asked her what it was and she said it was Ham. Eating of ham is forbidden in Islam. Being a Muslim, it is non-islamic to do anything that is forbidden. Due to the mistake of the server, I ate Ham. read more

Had lunch here about a month ago. A pretty decent Greek salad and grape leaves. Had dinner here tonight and all I can say is I will not be back. The loaded potato soup was a greasy mix of chunks of potato and burnt bacon bits, the spinach pie was marginal, the lemon sauce over my rice and grape leaves contained numerous lemon seeds, and the gyros was a greasy reheat. All in all I ate little of this mess and am sorry I ate any of it. read more

Went there for Thanksgiving dinner and was very disappointed. The Turkey was tough and the gravy tasted terrible. How hard is it to cook a turkey meal. I remember this place when I was younger and it was very good, I am so disappointed that things have changed, I don't know what happened but it seems to be going down, my veggies were horrible and the salad was old and brown. One of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had! When you walk in it feels like your eating in the cafeteria of a nursing home. The food follows suit and is dry and bland. One of the tomatoes in my salad was moldy. No thanks. The waitress messed up our order two or three times. She said she was new but was doing things that no waitress anywhere would ever do. She asked if we wanted our coffee in a mug or a glass!?? I don't know what that was about. The clueless owner or manager was in the parking lot putting fliers on everyone's cars. In a dark parking lot at 9 at night he and his buddies were looking very suspicious. I thought they were from a landscaping company until I went out there to stop them and realized they were from the establishment. Terrible. This place is ONE block away from my house and I will never be back. I hope they go out of business soon so something better can take their place. Go to Cols that is a half mile away.
