I want to recognize Eric and Manager Ivan for their outstanding customer service. When I arrived, my food order was not ready. I waited patiently, but after a while I felt like I had been forgotten at the counter. Eric noticed the situation, came over to me, sincerely apologized for the delay, and went above and beyond by personally speaking with the chef to help get my order prepared as quickly as possible. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine concern made a huge difference. Manager Ivan also came over to assist alongside Eric. He was polite, respectful, and made sure everything was handled properly. Although I was upset at first, the way Eric and Ivan treated me completely changed the experience. This has become one of my go-to late-night spots. It's open 24/7, which is super convenient, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. I was honestly surprised by how good the food was. Okaaay let's break this experience allll the way down! I visited on a Saturday night maybe around 9pm, it was a decent amount of people but there was we were seated immediately. I ordered the veggie friend rice, the portion was definitely shareable. I ate a big portion of the serving and still had a lot to tame home. The rice tasted pretty decent it was a standard fried rice, without sauce it's a 3.5/5 soy sauce definitely helps raise the taste rating. I also ordered the cheese fondue which has diced tomatoes on top and what appeared to be cilantro, paired with tortilla chips. I couldn't order it again because I do feel it's worth the money for a plate of cheese. Now this is where it gets interesting! I added some of the cheese on top of the veggie fried rice 20/20 truly amazing! I stayed at the hotel and walked around looking for places to eat. I found Serrano with a medium line and decided to check it out. Hostess were pleasant and sat you down promptly when seating became available. The bartender Michael was pleasant but busy. He was running around alot, barely had time for much customer service but he was responsive. The place was nice, I sat at the bar and watched sports. I ordered the green salad with salmon, a Mimosa flight and garlic fries. Salad was delicious but the Salmon was salty. I tried to eat it with tomatoes or onions to cut down the salt and I survived it lol. The Mimosa flight was good. I got mango, prickly pear, strawberry and cranberry flavors! I enjoyed every sip. The garlic fries were cool. I wish they would have tossed the fries a bit more when they were hot so the ingredients stuck to the fry. Most of the garlic was at the bottom. read more

The t bone was a thin cut, the meat seemed like the meat had a brined consistency, not the way I would treat meat but it is the way they make it here. The accompaniment was a fairly good size baked potato that was baked pretty nice, creamy in the middle. The a jus was perfect to use as a gravy to accompany the baked potato. The best part was the ceasar salad, it hac anchovies, it was a chopped romaine nicely dressed and my favourite the anchovies. This was one of the better cafe I've been to and a pretty extensive menu. Inside the palms casino is the cafe that's open 24/7. They have take out or sit down options. I honestly wasn't expecting much despite the good reviews but I was feeling lazy and didn't want to leave the hotel. We ordered the Patty melt with garlic fried, Margherita pizza with chicken (they typically don't do off the menu orders), coffee and peanut butter pie. The size of the foods was pretty generous. I was more than full after eating half of the Patty melt. I should have stopped there but I'm a glutton. The wagyu patty melt was really good, better than I thought it would be. It was rich with flavor and adding the pickles gave it more depth and texture. I can't speak to the pizza cause I didn't eat it but it looked great. The peanut butter pie was light and paired well with coffee. Service was awesome, the server was on it. I have spent the last four days at the Palms Casino & Resort, and each day, I was looking for a quick breakfast. The first day, I went to the Food Court, and while the Earl of Sandwich had a great breakfast sandwich option, they didn't open until after I was in meetings. I got in line at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and even though there was no one in line, neither of the two employees went to see what I wanted to order. I then came across the Serrano Vista Café, and I was delighted to see a nice "Grab N Go & Takeout" area. On the first day, there were three of us in line, and the line moved very quickly. The cashiers were very friendly and helpful, and I ordered a breakfast sandwich, which was ready very quickly (and nice and warm and tasty). The next day, I went right up to the cash register and was helped very quickly. The third day, someone picked me up a breakfast sandwich but it didn't travel well and wasn't as warm as the first two days. The last day (today), they didn't have a working oven ready to heat up certain dishes, so I just ate on the way to the airport. The Serrano Vista Café is open 24/7. It is a casual restaurant. My girlfriend and I had a disappointing experience at Serrano Vista Cafe. We stopped in before a concert about an hour and a half before showtime, expecting plenty of time for dinner and drinks. We ordered two martinis shortly after being seated, but they never arrived despite multiple inquiries to our server. Before ordering, I noticed several burgers going out to other tables looked dry and overcooked. When I asked about it, our server assured me only the well-done burgers looked that way, so I ordered mine medium. When our food arrived, we still hadn't received our martinis. My burger was well done instead of medium and very dry. After another unsuccessful attempt to get an update on the drinks, I asked to speak with a manager. I explained the situation and showed him the burger. Since we needed to leave for the concert, there wasn't time to have it remade. The manager explained they were short-staffed at the bar and ultimately comped our meal, which I appreciated. While I appreciate the manager's effort to resolve the issue, the delayed drinks, overcooked burger, and poor service made for a disappointing experience overall. read more
