The ONLY reason they get a five is because Gilbert at the bar is a maestro of service. He worked so enthusiastically, we ended up having a good experience. The hostess desk was a mess. We waited forever to get seated, then after ten minutes at the table with zero attention we saw open seats at the bar and Gilbert was a star. However, if the people that own Hash House tasted the food coming out, they would shut this place down. We have been blessed to eat at the San Diego location many times. The chicken and waffles there are amazing- JUICY chicken, perfectly fried, with crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside waffles. The chicken here is so dry- it was fried hours ago and then dried out completely under lamps. It's really a shame. Please don't let the other Hash House locations degrade to this level!!! read more

Service was good all around, and we only had a brief 20 minute wait for a table for Saturday morning. $23 Corned Beef Hash Skillet...generous slices of corned beef onto of delightfully crispy potatoes, with two eggs your style. Flavorful and filling, priced nicely for Las Vegas. There's a veggie version as well which the wife enjoyed. $20 Big Breakfast Burrito...disappointing compared to above! The burrito is average sized, but tasted pretty good overall. Only came with a side of chips. Get a Hash Skillet instead. $17 Hash Cobb Salad...pretty good salad overall, it's huge! This restaurant has been on my radar for a while. I remember when HH popped up in Vegas well over a decade ago and people were raving about their portions. Can confirm, portions are massive. Finally had a chance to give them a go because Rio gave me a $75 dining credit which was easy enough to use. Just give your server your room number and name. I got the "popular" dish, Andy's World Famous Sage Fried Chicken and Waffles. It was just not for me. The chicken was overcooked and dry. Even if it wasn't executed poorly, it's just mid. The flavors don't work together. The breading is very hard and crispy, basically fried thick cornflakes. The sage, while subtle at first, really causes taste fatigue and that all you taste after a few bites. The smoked bacon in the waffle batter makes the entire waffle taste kind of sour and funky. Everything else is basically edible decoration, except you probably wouldn't want to eat the rosemary. I know Hash House is originally from San Diego but this is what I consider Vegas "show food". The weakest part about the... cast iron pan is the biscuit, as it was on the dryer side, and the sauce + butter couldn't save it. The potatoes were better, but I can feel that these are store-bought potatoes which at fine at best. The eggs were cooked well. The corned beef was also fine, but the cheese was not helping, even though it should have. Service: We ate during a full house so the service staff were in a bit of a pinch. It was a rough start in terms of taking our orders and getting our food, but things improved when providing the bill. Ambiance: It's a diner that is inside a casino. They were doing renovation when we were there so the experience wasn't the same as the last time we were here. They are located right across where you go out to the pool. It can be pretty loud right in front specially with the slots down the hall. Still there was a long line of people waiting to eat breakfast on a Saturday. Our server was nice. My wife and daughter ordered regular food but I ordered the bloody Mary which is a meal in itself and cost less than buying a meal. Breakfast-the pancake was bigger than the plate, a little bit of scrambled egg, and two bacon strips. Bacon was decent. The pancake was served cold and hard on top-wouldn't melt butter at all. Tasted terrible. It was like it was left over from the previous day. We ordered a side of country gravy and that tasted good when we added pepper. The biscuit was big and tasted good. Lunch-the burgers were good, but not $22 good. The salad dressing they give you in a cup is weird. My lemonade was awful. Tea was fine. Other diners seemed to enjoy their food. read more

It's not fancy but it's filling. And if you're staying at the Rio, it's convenient. If you're a World of Hyatt Globalist, you get breakfast for free. So it's a win-win! I don't always eat breakfast when I stay at the Rio as the gluten-free options are limited. But have had the oatmeal, twisted chicken sandwich (no bun), and Cheddar bacon burger (no bun). The oatmeal was cooked well, filling and portion large enough for two. Had I known it was that big, I would have came later in the morning. Will order this again. The twisted chicken sandwich was spicier than expected but I'd rather have flavor than a piece of bland chicken. The breast was a wee bit on the small size, especially when you consider the other entree portion sizes. It seemed more of a side option vs the main. Large side salad. I'd order it again. The burger was a disappointment. The menu stated it was handcrafted but it was a frozen patty. I order it medium, it arrived very well done and dry. I noticed the table next to me got a burger that was at least 4 times as thick as mine. So not sure how they decide who gets a frozen patty and who gets the handcrafted burger. I would not order this again. But I might try one more time to see if this was a one-off. Drinks: I've tried the hot chocolate, lemonade, and caramel mocha. The hot chocolate comes in a giant cup but made from a mix as does the lemonade. I'm not a coffee drinker so can't really evaluate the quality of the caramel mocha other than it was okay. These items are large enough to share: Scrambles, Hashes, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, and Hash House Oatmeal. I came here for a free breakfast as a Hyatt Globalist since I was staying at the Rio (to get Hyatt points). I was glad that they have a separate line for Globalists, though annoyed that they asked each one of us whether we were Globalists even though the line is very clearly marked. I was also annoyed that they made us stand in line for tables when there was an entire wing of the restaurant closed off and they could have sat us if they wanted. Globalists are able to order one entree of the menu and a drink, although specials are not part of the Hyatt benefit. Fine. Hash House A Go Go has been around Vegas for many years and has built a reputation for huge portions that fill you up. I still recall coming here with friends years ago after late nights, or taking friends visiting Vegas from out of town here because they had heard about it and wanted to go... I'm glad to see that the portions here are still quite sizable. I had to take some of it to go because I couldn't finish. But perhaps my palate has become more sophisticated over the years. Perhaps the quality of their food has gone down. But I remember the food here in my mind to be much more delicious and gratifying than what I got when I ate here in summer 2025. There are many items on the menu but it basically all boils down to eggs, meat, and potatoes. The friend I was with asked for fully cooked yolks but when our food arrived her eggs were still runny and we had to send them back. Our server was good-natured about it and said we could keep the runny eggs and I could have them if I wanted. The decor of this place is nice with many signed pictures of famous people who have eaten here. It's a bit gimmicky and a bit of a tourist trap. I don't know if I'd wait in line to eat here if I wasn't getting a free meal. But if you are staying at the Rio and don't want to have to go offsite, it's a decent enough place for breakfast or brunch. I just hope you like potatoes. read more

We waited about 40 minutes. We were in the wrong line. We were in line for Hyatt globalists which we were not. At some point while not knowing we went to the next line to put our name on the waiting list then continuing lining up the supposedly wrong line for us. We were third in line when we realized we were in the wrong line. So, we stepped aside and waited against the bench by the wall since my husband already put on name on the waiting list. I think they did a poor job of letting people know about the lines. I later realized there was a sign but I still think the hostess should give verbal clarification. The wait to order and food to come out was quite a while. Service wasn't bad. It was actually pretty good. Hot chocolate ($9.00) was good according to my son. Coffee was $6.00 but very bitter, perhaps it was dark roast. Spinach salad was $15 and it was alright. It was my wrong doing ordering it. My son had the grilled cheese sandwich and it had tomatoes. I think it was ok but the fries that came with it were super yummy. My younger son had eggs, bacon, home fries and toast and he ate everything so it must be good. My husband ate up his BLT sandwich. Alberto started our experience off with great customer service. We had a few questions and he was more than happy to guide us through the menu. The food is definitely served in large portions. I myself wasn't as hungry so a side of the fried potatoes was perfect so that I would feel stuffed. Personally I would have preferred them golden brown but they still got the spot. My husband's review on the classic was the portion was perfect, eggs scrambled with cheese were prepared to his liliking and the bacon was crispy but not over cooked. I'm not sure what the hype is about this place....but I can attest it's absolute garbage across the board. We made reservations weeks ahead of time; showed up and had to wait 40 min after our reservations. By the time we got seated it was another 18 minutes before we had a drink order taken only to receive wrong drinks another 10 minutes later. At this point we should have walked out but everyone talks about the food. Well it's no more than something g you would find an I Hop or Dennys. The "Homemade Cornbeef" hash was just lunch meat with some melted cheese over potatoes. Absolutely disappointed at this location. As someone who has been to the original San Diego location this was just sad and terrible experience. Went here yesterday because we were staying at the Rio and I was super excited to hear there was a hash house here because the San Diego location is absolutely delicious and has one of my favorite chicken and waffles dish. First off all the side potatoes were cold and the biscuits and gravy was cold, the server David did change them out for fresh one but that was about the best thing from the server, he really did not ever check up on us and I had to get up to get my own silverware. They served us a dirty coffee cup and the food was meh at best. This does not represent the San Diego location what so ever, the chicken and waffles was a joke compared to what I am used to. Honestly it was like getting the temu version of the chicken and waffles. I told the lady when I cashed out and even showed her a picture of the difference. In San Diego it's a hand breaded chicken well not here, at this location it's a pre breaded flat chicken patty with zero flavor. The lady at the front desk told me that I can talk to the manager but they are probably not going to do anything for me, so why would I even want to talk to them. $160 down the drain. You can see for yourself in the pictures I post, I will post both chicken and waffles. It's just disappointing when a restaurant tries to expand and sacrifices quality. As a Hyatt Globalist, I've eaten on numerous occasions over 3 different stays. There's one consistency here and that's that service is generally poor. They're either understaffed and/or inattentive; good luck getting coffee refills. The food is decent but quite pricey for what it is; 29.95 for eggs, bacon, roasted potatoes and a biscuit with juice. Today's visit was the final straw for me as the waitress accused my girlfriend of fraud and theft. I wasn't with her for this meal and when she signed to charge the meal to the room, the waitress threw a fit. Even after showing ID and confirming with the waitress and cashier that she was on the room reservation they made a scene and then had the audacity to question why she didn't tip after paying by card. read more

First time at Hash House A Go Go... and probably the last. We came right at breakfast opening, and this was my very first Hash House A Go Go experience. We were the second table to be seated, so naturally, I expected things to be on point--hot food, solid service, and a good first impression. Unfortunately, this place dropped the ball across the board. The staff was semi-attentive in the beginning, but once our food hit the table, it was like we ceased to exist. No one came by to ask how the meal was, if we needed anything, or if something could be improved. Maybe the team was still trying to get into the rhythm of the day, but when you're literally the second table in the building, that's when service should be at its strongest. I ordered the corned beef hash plate--and from the jump, things were off. The server told me the skillet was hot and even brought it out with napkins for protection, but it wasn't hot at all. And worse? The food inside was cold. The "hash" was just limp, under-seasoned potato chunks with barely any crisp. The corned beef was bland and dry, tossed on top like an afterthought. Eggs looked iffy, and the biscuit was so hard it could've passed for a hockey puck. I could only eat the center before giving up. And the latte? Terrible. Bitter, watery, and just plain bad. Open 7am-1pm Our reservation was for 11am, but when we arrived a little early, we were seated right away. Quick efficient service. I had the tomato, goat cheese and basil scramble. It was pretty good but extremely light on the basil. The biscuits are really good and even better with the gravy. They are know for their enormous portions, so because of that my husband and I decided to share an order of the biscuits and gravy. The second time it was in a low wide cup and handle, no whip cream but a slice of banana on the side. Our small juices were the same but came in different style glasses even when brought over at one time. Service varied over 3 days as we had great to slightly below avg service. The person assigning tables always tries to put you at the worst table even while there are booths still available. If you simply ask she will grant you a booth. The hash and scramble was just ok. Fried Chicken sandwich was my favorite but just ok. Grilled cheese was ok. Breakfast burrito and Pancake were not very good. Overall, mediocre food with decent service. A pleasant enough ambience. We made a reservation although it wasn't necessarily needed since it was an hour before closing and not crowded. The restaurant itself is large with a bar at the far end and I like how it is open to the main hall (good people watching). Service here was super quick, I ordered, went to the restroom and my food was there when I returned! As per usual, the food portions were large and the corned beef hash was good.
