It was New Year's Eve, and our first time dining here, primarily to eat well but also to be where "Avatar: Fire & Ash" was playing in the Orleans movie theater, to view the 3 hr. 18 min. film into and beyond the midnight hour after first eating and engaging in some slot play inside the casino. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. A mobile Bread Basket came around with fine Sourdough, Parmesan Lavosh, and White Chocolate Walnut Bread. Then we enjoyed a Shrimp Cocktail with colossal sweet and meaty shrimp, plus tasty Rock Shrimp Tempura with Sweet & Spicy Chili Sauce. And I had a hot and cheesy Onion Soup with Gruyere Cheese and Sherry, and an attractive-looking ABCD Wedge Salad with Pickled Red Onions, Crumbled Danish Blue Cheese, Danish Blue Cheese Dressing, and Thick Cut Smoked Bacon. Diane and I both ordered Surf and Turf, which consisted of 8 oz. Filets and 10 oz. Cold Water Australian Lobster Tails. The Filets were especially delicious, except they arrived at our booth cold, with the lobster cool. Our entrees were removed for further heating, and soon came back hot and with my Filet still medium rare as I desired. Bearnaise Sauce and Demi-Glace Red Wine Sauce enhanced the taste of my steak, and the Wild Mushroom Gratinee and crunchy Duck Fat Fries just added to a great repast. To top off a fine meal I indulged in a generous slice of New York Style Cheesecake served with Strawberry Sauce and accompanied by Strawberries, Blackberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries. We will most assuredly be back! XXXX-1/2 stars overall!!

Come here for the steak and service!! :) Alder & Birch had been on my mental eating list for yearssss and I finally made it!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Upon entering the double glass doors (love that the restaurant is closed off from the rest of the hotel), we were politely greeted by the sweet hostess![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Drew took care of us for the night and was a pleasure! I think he can have a side gig as a comedian! ;) My husband got the ribeye special for the night that was cooked beautifully as a medium rare!!! I ordered the Chilean sea bass and made the wrong choice...womp womp! I should have gone with the steak or tried the prime rib. The sea bass wasn't that flavorful and wasn't the thick, buttery Chilean sea bass I was expecting. The tummy tastes and learns...all good. The wagyu beef meatballs, duck fat fries, lavash from the bread tray, and lemon tart stood out for me!! Wagyu beef meatballs: Fillling and delicious with the bread toasted in oil! Duck fat fries: Say no more!! Once you go with duck fat, no other fry compares to the crispness! Lavash: This is more like a lavish cracker with a slight cheddar cheese flavor to it. Fun to munch on! Reminded me of a thin cheeze-it, heehee! Lemon tart: The lemon half made of white chocolate is amazing as it looks and feels so real!! The tart crust was so buttery and crisp, and for those who like lemon desserts, the lemon flavor was strong with this one (in a good way)! Take a bite with a little bit of everything on the plate and it is yum, yum, yummm!! Oh, and how I can I forget the Old Fashioned's Father cocktail!! A fun twist on traditional old fashioneds! The Pernod liqueur in it made it a good palate cleanser between courses! Alder & Birch, thank you for the great service and delicious food! I got to come back for the ribeye! :p

I'm disappointed, but I have never seen this place inside of the Orleans Casino before. I would've already been there. But now that I know we will definitely go back. We were nicely greeted at the desk with a smile very friendly promptly served. Our food server. She was very kind and gave us fast service and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All of the meals that we had were very enjoyable and the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our steaks were cooked perfect, oysters tender and delicious and the drinks were absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back.

My friend and I walked in on a Saturday and ate dinner at the bar, no waiting. The mushrooms were my favorite, but it was all tasty. We shared a bottle of wine, nice selections at a decent price. The service was friendly and the bartender was engaging, although busy as he serves the entire bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Luckily the smoke of the casino does NOT waft in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would go again when in Vegas. Orleans is off the strip, but this place is still pricey $200+ for 2 of us.

It's a yes on food, drinks and service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located inside The Orleans hotel off strip, this restaurant checked all the boxes for us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good for large groups and celebrations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Steaks were cooked to perfection. As in most steakhouses, steaks and sides are ordered a la carte. To start they bring out a beautiful arrangement of breads for you to choose from and continue to come back to offer more. Our waiter was so patient with all of my mom's questions lol and we ended up having a great dinner. It was not cheap but definitely cheaper than what we would've paid on strip.

Great experience at the Orleans. Starting off with your meal with a bread basket this basket is enormous with variety of different bread that you can try and it's unlimited so indulge. Try all of them get multiple ones. Take some to go. Next, the sides definitely recommend the duck fat french fries they were the biggest hit across everyone we were sitting by we tried the Gouda mac & cheese wasn't really my thing, but it wasn't a bad dish would definitely want to try the blue cheese, scallop potatoes, or the enormous baked potato loaded. We had two different cuts of steak 16 ounce New York strip was amazing. I'm more of a medium steak person, but the medium came across more medium rare but still it was delicious. Try it paired with the Madagascar peppercorn sauce and you can't go wrong. we also had the 8 ounce fillet, which was amazing but would pass on any sauce mixed with this cut of steak. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience is very romantic, quiet and very intimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers were amazing always made sure we were looked after. Pricing is a typical steakhouse, but the ounces of steak that you get definitely make it worth your while.

Went here a yr ago & thought it was the most amazing enough my bro wanted to come back for the holidays. This was not even close to last experience. They didn't have the bottle of wine on the short list 1st, then the wedge salad didn't have the glaze that made the salad instead brought me a vinaigrette terrible. The steak came out well when I asked for medium rare & had to ask for it to be redone. King crab seemed like it was done for a while, not warm & butter was sitting out. The waiter Greg was nice, but the bus boy was trying harder. No accommodations after many issues. I was trying to take my son out for an amazing new years dinner Dec 30th. Terrible.

Crème Brûlée. Had to try theirs and it was perfect.

Our waitress is one of the best! Her name is Andrya. She's very personable and makes you feel at home. She's friendly and very attentive. The food were just remarkable. I went here several times during my stay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's very calming here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do recommend if you don't mind spending the extra cash for comfort. Andrya made the experience worth it.

After a 9-10 hour drive from Long Beach to Las Vegas (traffic due to spilled chemical on the 15 in July), I was starving! My friend, who lives there, took me out to dinner here, after I dropped off everything in the hotel room, to make me feel better and celebrate my bday! Awww! What a special treat! We were the last customers in because it was past 8:30 and I think they were closing soon. I'm so grateful for you guys! Amazing service with a smile! Food was amazing! The ambiance was romantic and classy and I will definitely be back someday! So the pictures are out of order but we started off with: - Some bread, butter and I asked for olive oil and vinegar and black pepper (that mix is the best!) - A mixed salad with ranch - Then the crab bisque? Omg! So yummy! My friend got full! - The steak was bomb! I got it medium rare...but it's ok to get medium. The scalloped blue cheese potatoes were amazing too! Definitely need to mix it in because it's strong so eat with the steak. - The drinks were yummy! I forgot what I got but so refreshing and hit the spot. - Then the DESSERT! Omg! How can you not have dessert? They brought it out for my bday without charge! Thank you so so much! The trip already was much better and I forgot all about the traffic coming up here for my business event and training! You guys make this my favorite restaurant in Vegas! Love you guys!

Located in The Orleans hotel & casino not too far from hotel registration. We did t eat here however my husband frequented the bar for his old fashioneds. Impressed by the bartender who served him the 1st night & 4 nights later remembered him & his drink order. Pricy but worth it! Upscale but comfortable!

Definitely worth experiencing when in Vegas.

The hostess got us seated right away and was very friendly. The booth was very comfortable, and the ambience was well lit with a fireplace inside as well. I had a prime rib dinner with brussels sprouts and duck fries. The prime rib was cooked very well. The brussels sprouts were outstanding so were the duck fries. Our waitress Andrya was extremely polite, nice & friendly. She did an amazing job! If you're looking for a place to get some steak or prime rib, this is the spot. I recommend Alder and Birch restaurant at New Orleans casino.

Solid 4 Stars. Our server was Michael, and he was professional and nice. Beautiful ambiance and good for large parties. Food: Rib Eye Steak Asparagus Baked Potato Lamb Chops Short Rib House Chopped Salad Tempura Rock Shrimp The steaks and lamb were cooked perfectly. Asparagus was an added touch. The least favorite was the creme brulee and baked potato, but my favorite, in which I returned the next day to eat this dish again, was the Tempura Rock Shrimp. On my 2nd visit, I ordered a House Chopped Salad and that was awful. I had to return it because it was overdressed. Overall, the service was good and the food was delcious. I would definitely return again.

This incredible bar is open 24 hours, making it an ideal refuge for weary explorers at nearly any hour. The live tiki band was fantastic and brought the entire place to life. The cocktail menu is enormous, resembling a map to dozens of forbidden islands, and every drink we tried was delicious, beautifully presented, and fairly priced--especially by Las Vegas standards. The dark tiki décor is extraordinary. Every shadowy corner contains something new to discover, with waterfalls, carved idols, shrunken heads, animated figures, and wonderfully sinister details. The place has unmistakable Disney-inspired showmanship, including creations connected to longtime Disney artists, but with a darker and far more mischievous personality. The merchandise is also extremely cool. There are shirts, mugs, and other treasures worthy of carrying home--although I strongly advise checking each item for ancient inscriptions before placing it in your luggage. Unfortunately, I ignored this precaution. After several powerful cocktails, I raised my glass to one of the idols and foolishly challenged it to prove its power. The drums stopped. The torches flickered. Something ancient entered my body. I awoke the next morning clutching a tiki mug, speaking a language unknown to modern scholars, and demanding that my hotel room be decorated with bamboo. The god still speaks through me whenever I smell rum. It commands me to return. The Golden Tiki is one of the most entertaining and immersive bars in Las Vegas. Come for the incredible décor, live music, delicious drinks, and excellent merchandise--but drink respectfully, traveler. The idols are always watching. Five stars. The god demands it.

The handsome chef came out to greet us and explained the menu and answered all of our questions. He served us the Korean fried chicken. Very crispy skin. Flavorful with a little bit of spice. Sat on a bed of greens. Next we ordered the sea bass. Light and flaky. Served with coconut rice and a mole sauce. The top was crispy too. The sides paired well with the fish. Also ordered the rib eye mole. The steak was tender and juicy. The smoked mole sauce was so good. Tasted very authentic and we were very surprised that the chiles actually came from Huahaca (?? Spelling). It was a great accompaniment to the steak. It came with house made fresh tortillas. We asked for extra jalapeños and hot sauce and they were very accommodating. I'm not much of a drinker so when I asked John, who is also a very talented mixologist, to make me something that tasted like juice, he delivered this beautiful lychee "martini". The presentation was amazing. And went well with my fish. They had me try the pickle drink. The foam on top was good and the "margarita" at the bottom was good too. They even surprised us with tofu cheesecake. I don't like tofu or cheescake, but wow, this dessert was light. Not overly sweet. It was a perfect way to end the meal. The Chef and John and the other mixologist from Thailand were so friendly that even when we finished our meal, they shared stories with us. Once I stepped foot inside and saw a completely packed house with an hour and a half wait and barely standing room at the bar, I knew it was worth whatever wait or process I had to go through. Ultimately I lucked out as an individual. I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. I usually despise most things truffle but if I was forced to eat that truffle mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life I would consider it a life well lived. While I would have never ordered it on my own, a customer next to me recommended the porn star cocktail and I have to say it was also one of the most delicious things I've ever had in my life. Ten out of ten, top notch experience. Would recommend. Will be back every time I'm in Vegas, no questions asked.

It felt like the perfect mix of lounge and restaurant energy, making it great for both celebrations and date nights. The food was really good as well. We had the miso salmon, Hamachi fried rice tacos, Caesar salad, and shrimp, and everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The tacos were definitely one of my favorites and something I'd order again. I also appreciated their drink menu. They have a great variety of cocktails, but I especially loved that they offer non alcoholic drinks that still look and feel elevated instead of just being an afterthought. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and food made this a really enjoyable experience. You can tell a lot of thought went into the aesthetic and overall vibe of the place. Definitely a spot I'd come back to again, especially for a date night or girls night.

However, I did return when the business was better prepared and it was a great experience overall. The Wagyu sliders , and teriyaki short ribs were my absolute favorite . The oxtail fried rice was about 7/10. The Brussel sprouts were phenomenal , teriyaki tacos were a little salty but creative, the chicken wings were fried well but lacked flavor ,& the cocktails were mid . Regina was our server and although she was spread thin she was still checking on us and taking our orders. I was disappointed to learn they only had vanilla ice cream for dessert. I would like to see a dessert menu with some variety. The playlist/music went perfect with the vibe of this place and I truly enjoyed the ambiance. There's still room for improvement here, I know it's also supposed to be a lounge and I was told there would be a DJ on the weekends but I have yet to see that vibe .

I feel a bit of shame being a Vegas local and sharing that I've legit NEVER been to VooDoo Lounge…read morebefore this past weekend. And what a cool spot it was! We were at the Rio to see a show, and after the show decided we wanted to keep hanging out there and enjoying. At one of the bars we randomly stopped at on the property before the show, one of the bartenders gave us a buy one get one free cocktail for VooDoo Lounge if we went. And there was no cover charge to get in! Sold! We decided to head up there after the show. This spot is locaed on the 51st (I believe) floor of the hotel but you enter on the second floor and take an elevator up. After a quick check our IDs and search of our bags and whatnot, we were able to take the elevators upstairs. As soon as we got there, I booked it for the outside patio. I mean, come on, you have to! This is really what sold me. WOW! It's STUNNING up there! Amazing views on the Strip unlike anything I've ever seen before. There was also a DJ up there and he was playing great music. For a Friday night, it wasn't super busy, but still really nice. We were able to sit wherever we wanted, as the tables and lounge seating was totally open for everyone to enjoy. We took in the beautiful views and each had a cocktail. Our server was outstanding and did a great job waiting on us. Sadly, we were getting a Vegas thunderstorm underway so the DJ had to stop and security all ushered us inside. Still, nonetheless, this was such a cool experience and one I'll continue to talk about. Definitely go if you can!

It was a Saturday night at 9pm, we were greeted by very friendly staff both downstairs and upstairs. We went out to the terrace to enjoy the view and took over a lounge seating space. The 3 of us ordered a fishbowl which was great but we didn't stay longer because the place was empty and the DJ played the same beat for the entire hour we were there. It's a shame that this has gone so downhill. When I went to the bathrooms I noticed the water damage on the walls and the lack of maintenance so it sealed my fate to not return for a while. This used to be the spot but it's a little scary anywhere in the casino.
