There was plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Egg-cellent! Even though the restaurant was busy, our group of six was seated fairly quickly, and the service was friendly and pretty efficient throughout our meal. One thing I really liked was the variety on the menu. Whether you're looking for something healthy, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, low-carb, or just a classic breakfast, there's literally something for everyone. Personally, I almost felt like there were too many choices, but that's not a bad problem to have! The portions were generous (we all had leftover food), everything tasted fresh, and our food arrived hot. There were a couple of small mix-ups with our order (two plates came with fries instead of fruit, and an iced coffee was served hot). If you love eggs, this is the place for you. They offer everything from classic breakfast plates and omelets to scrambles, Eggs Benedict, skillets, steak and eggs, breakfast burritos, and egg white options. They also have plenty of pancakes, waffles, French toast, and other breakfast favorites. We tried six different dishes. Overall, this is a great breakfast/brunch spot with good food, fast service, and reasonable prices. The atmosphere is fun and family-friendly, especially with the train that travels around the restaurant near the ceiling.
My husband comes here every time he's in Vegas, and today I finally got to try it! Even though I'm not really an egg person, I was excited because he's talked this place up so much. They have a ton of options on the menu. I went with the oatmeal with bananas and walnuts, and it was really good! My husband is always bragging about their seasonings and especially the potatoes, and he was right, they're so good and lots of seasoning The restaurant is super cute, really clean, and the service was awesome. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and the manager was walking around checking on tables to make sure everyone was happy, which was nice to see :) I can see why this is one of my husband's favorite breakfast spots. Great food, great service, and we'll definitely be back!
This is a homey and very popular breakfast place. We called ahead of arriving to check on the wait on a Saturday morning (our wait was only a minute or so). Come hungry. The portions here are big. The butterscotch pancakes were just as good as they sound. The pancakes themselves were incredibly light. The stuffed French toast is just plain decadent and extremely delicious. It is almost like a Monte Cristo: French toast on the top and bottom, creamy scrambled eggs and bacon, ham, or sausage in between. It is eggsellent. Our server was great. They have TVs everywhere in case you get bored of talking to your dining companions and even a real model train that travels around the room just below the ceiling. Well worth a visit or probably many visits. Buy bigger pants now if you eat here often.
They never disappoint. Good food with generous portions and very attentive service! If you order coffee, they bring you a pot for the table; they kept the pot full for us. The interior is homey and cozy. I especially love the train going around the restaurant up near the ceiling.

This place is So Yummy!! I had a chili relleno omelette which was off the charts good! I can't rave enough about how good it was. I'm still thinking about it and would plan a trip to Vegas just for this omelette. They make their own hot sauces and salsas which were also so good that I bought some to take home with me. The service was excellent, everyone was so friendly and happy even though the place was super busy. There was seating inside and out with cozy booths, a cute train and TVs around to watch the games. An extensive menu with something for everyone! Great spicy Bloody Mary too. I can't wait to return!
My friend and I had lunch at the Egg & I a few weeks ago. It was my first time eating at the restaurant. It's a typical casual diner located in a shopping strip. Parking wasn't an issue on a Thursday afternoon though I noticed a sign on the door stating that your entire party must be present before you will be seated so I guess it gets busy on the weekends. Our server Evelyn was very nice and attentive. She made good suggestions and answered our questions (the menu is pretty extensive). I noticed a lot of the breakfast entrées had Habla Diablo seasoning which concerned me because I don't love spicy food, but she reassured me that the seasoning is not spicy at all. I started with regular coffee. Evelyn offered flavored creamer options but I kept it basic. I appreciated that she set the coffee pot on the table so I could top off my mug whenever I needed. For my entrée, I went with the Bacon and Onion Skillet. The potatoes come with the Habla Diablo seasoning. Evelyn told me I could order light seasoning, and I'm glad I did. The seasoning is very flavorful, but it is salty (and not spicy at all). If I had done regular seasoning, it would have been too salty for my palette. I opted for scrambled eggs with a side of sourdough toast. It was so tasty, but the portion was huge! I could only eat about half of it. Evelyn brought over to go boxes and gave me a cup of fresh coffee to go, which was so nice. As much as I wanted to bring the leftovers with me, I was on my way to the airport so I didn't take them. Luckily, the meal held me over for most of the day.
On my most recent trip to Vegas, my last meal in town was at Egg & I for lunch on a Thursday morning. Located off The Strip, this breakfast spot is located in a shopping center with several other businesses and there's plenty of free parking. Ambiance (3.5/5): Pretty much your typical run-of-the-mill breakfast spot with a twist. They have a train that makes its way around the inside of the restaurant (close to the ceiling). Choo-choo! I'd say this was a first for me at a restaurant. I appreciated the creativity. We were seated at a booth which I always appreciate. Service (4.5/5): Our waitress did a good job taking care of us. What I appreciated most is that after I ordered, she offered me another option that would give me a lot more food for a small surcharge. Definitely worth it and something I wouldn't have know without her help because I didn't know I could make substitutions. A little tough to explain, but know that she was looking out for me. Drinks (N/A): I had an Arnold Palmer so not much to talk about here. They have your typical assortment of soft drinks, juices, coffee, and tea that you would expect at a breakfast joint. Food (3/5): I went with the stuffed French toast, scrambled eggs, and ham. I substituted waffles for French toast. Unfortunately, the French toast was below average. French toast is one of my favorite breakfast foods and this wasn't it. The bread was a bit lifeless and seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a bit. The scrambled eggs were a bit lifeless too. I expected more from a restaurant with the word "Egg" in the title. The ham was the best part of the meal which is telling you something. Not a bad meal by any means, but it didn't live up to the hype. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong dish or it was an off-night. It had been a while since I visited a brunch spot. The portion size was generous, so I ended up taking part of my meal to-go. Choo-choo!
The food at The Eggs and I was delicious, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Great atmosphere and an awesome spot for breakfast or brunch. Definitely one of my favorite places to visit! The island plate was absolutely delicious with generous portions and amazing flavors in every bite. The meat was tender, the rice was perfectly cooked, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. I'll definitely be back for more! The service was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff created a welcoming atmosphere and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Definitely 5-star service! Mya was an amazing hostess. Thank you Evelyn for being an amazing server. Immediately replaced my fallen fork under 30 seconds. Amazing service I could ask for anywhere else. Stopped by Egg & I with a group of four after EDC weekend and ordered the chilaquiles with red salsa. The salsa had great flavor with a nice kick. The service was fast and friendly. One item of note is that a carafe of hot coffee was provided for the table so we were able to refill our own cups as needed. I hope more brunch spots started doing that!
Everything we got were all pretty tasty and big portions. The steak was suppose to be cooked medium rare but ended up more well, luckily it was tender so it was still tasty. Only feedback is the food was a bit saltier than we all would have liked. Pancakes were super fluffy! Service was ok, waitress forgot to bring one of our cups of coffee and my toast which we had to ask for before she remembered to bring it. If the food was season a bit better it would of been 5 for the food
Expect it's to be busy on a weekend and also expect parking to be tough too!! It's worth it though! The food is consistent with flavor, and they do their best to get the food out quickly. Service is friendly as well, from the hostess to the servers and expeditors. They are all working together to get as many people through as possible...without rushing the tables or making you feel like you have to hurry to leave! It's a pretty packed place inside, the patio allows for a little bit more open space, it's covered but you're in plastic folding chairs - which aren't uncomfortable! If it's a nice day out, I recommend the patio! Bonus is that the patio is dog friendly!
While in Vegas, we wanted to try a new breakfast place off the Strip. The Egg & I looked like it had excellent reviews, but for us, it was a bit disappointing. While the food wasn't bad, it was just meh. Located in a quiet parking lot, parking was relatively easy. Service was a bright spot in our meal as well as the interior décor. Loved the train running on the tracks over the restaurant. The menu was cute in the newspaper style. Food and drinks were lackluster. Coffee was flavorless and just wasn't good at all The food just felt like they had two seasonings, salt and their diablo seasoning. It's either overly salty or overly salty with the diablo seasoning Corned beef was lifeless. For housemade food, I had bigger expectations for them. Being served in the skillet, I was hoping they would be crispy on the outside, moist and tasty on the inside. It was all too mushy for my liking. It just felt like I was eating mashed potatoes, with a side of potatoes to go with my plate. I wish we could have substituted the side of potatoes without the additional charge for fruit. The banana muffin just didn't look appealing. I don't know if I was expecting something like the banana bread, but this wasn't it. While crispy on the outside, the inside was just dry. Benedict was again, just all saltiness from the ham. Something about the texture of the ham they used was weird While the service and décor is nice, the food just doesn't make me want to try this place again.
I've been coming here for years. This place is so busy, but for there is never a wait. There is also plenty of seating and great for groups, though it does feel a bit crammed sometimes. There's a Groupon deal for the Egg & I that includes $12 off. It's been in Groupon for years and it still works. We use the Groupon deal each time we're here. Egg & I has a great menu and I like their Hawaiian offerings. My go to to the Portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice. It comes in a very generous portion. Their diablo potatoes are a bit on the salty side, but seasoned very good and I highly recommend. I also like their banana nut muffin. Servers are always attentive and efficient. They're really attentive when it comes to your drinks / coffees / waters. If you want to skip the wait and want some good old fashioned breakfast, this is the spot. read more

Food 4/5: Came to eat here for brunch and ordered the Island Favorite with portuguese sausage and it came with two eggs which I got over-easy and rice. I was surprised and had to take a picture because I wasn't expecting the Portuguese sausage to look like that. It tasted delicious though with the smokiness yet a little bit of sweetness of it with the sticky rice which was a good pairing. I also got the banana muffin which was good. Service 4/5: On the menu when I ordered it said to ask about the furikake seasoning and I did but it didn't seem like our server knew about it. I just felt a bit weird and our server was a bit thrown off when I asked about things on the menu like if they had flights of drinks and she didn't really know what I was talking about but after I clarified I was sadden to hear they didn't offer any; but I understand the restaurant is more diner/breakfast vibe instead of a brunch place that serves alcohol. Ambience 5/5: I love the tiny town with the train that goes around the whole restaurant! The art on the wall was really nice and on theme. It was hot outside so I enjoyed seeing the mist they provide outdoors. The area/parking lot was a bit stretchy as there was a person who didn't seem like they were all there by the benches right outside. He tried to call us over to do martial arts fighting or something but we just walked away and thankfully he didn't follow. read more

I couldn't decide between two of their most popular dishes but saw both on the value menu which is half of a typical portion. That was the perfect opportunity to try both. I got the Country Fried Steak Skillet, over easy eggs, with the Habla Diablo Seasoned Potatoes and the Stuffed French Toast with Ham and subbed Hash Browns. The Country Fried Steak dish was a 10/10. I don't always like gravy but theirs was exceptional. The Habla Diablo potatoes were perfectly seasoned and crispy. Honestly, the Stuffed French Toast was good but nothing special. It was just scrambled eggs with ham and your typical French toast. Still happy I tried the Stuffed French Toast so I don't get FOMO and now I know my go-to here will be the full portion of Country Fried Steak! read more
During my stay in LV, had to stop by a fav. Love this particular location. Friendly staff. I forgot my server's name but she was nice, friendly. I ordered the chicken w/veggies skillet. Overall tasty but way too much cheese. Next time I will tell them none. Good coffee, ambience. Strongly recommend. read more

We visit here regularly on our trips to Vegas. We found it off of yelp because it's a dog friendly restaurant with a huge side patio. Even after our dogs passed almost 2 years ago, we continue to dine here. It's a great local brunch place. The service is 10/10! Just really nice and welcoming. No matter when we come here, everyone is ALWAYS friendly! The prices are decent and the food is great!!! This last visit, my daughter and I split a spinach, bacon benedict and canoli French toast. It was more than enough food. My husband had a loco moco. Everything was delicious. If you feel like having breakfast off the strip. Eat like a local and visit this place. You will not be disappointed. read more

General free parking lot Popular spot so waiting time on a Sunday is a bit longer than usual, waited 15 mins for a table of 5 Interior looks great with a sauce wall and an active train set up on the ceiling, so cool Sat outside at the patio, dog friendly area Order again toke a while but within reasons Service was friendly and helpful Food was nothing special for me but the kids loved their food. This place was amazing. Let me start with the service. They were quick, wait wasn't long,, many refills , attentive, quick food orders. The food was amazing some of the best gravy I've had. Chicken friend stake was great, Chile renano omelette was great. Pankcakes were good as well. Kids loved the trains above head. read more

We stopped by for breakfast and it was a pretty cool spot. There's plenty of seating, a small train going around the restaurant, good food and good service, what's not to like? The gluten sensitive menu was disappointing, I just decided to go ahead and get sick and not upset our guest. This great neighborhood gem is serving up egg-ceptional breaky! Plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Family friendly. I ordered a 2-egg bacon and avocado omelette off the value menu - designed to deliver smaller portions. However, The omelette could have been split for two lighter eaters. The omelette was full of bacon, sliced avo, topped with the right amount of melted cheese and dollop of sour cream. Very tasty and cooked perfectly. The Egg & I are known for the potatoes- tho I found them a little salty for my liking. Still very yummy! Rather than toast, com'on, you can get toast anywhere. I tried the banana nut muffin. Love coming to this place whenever we're in Vegas. It's off the strip and a little more relaxing even when the place is busy, which is always lol. Food served here is delicious and has good flavor. The servers are amazing and friendly. You don't have to fight for their attention and there's also a little display on every table that shows a happy egg and a sad egg. The sad egg means you need something or need the attention of your server. We used it once and our server was attentive and quick. Our food came out in a decent amount of time and was cooked perfectly. Definitely a place to check out off the strip. So many great reviews! Which is why I decided to visit for the first time. Let me save you a lot of reading time and just compare the food to Denny's quality except much more variety. The service was the best part of the meal. Shout out to Amber for being extra nice and cheerful. The ambiance is cute. Like a small town breakfast spot. Place felt clean and you get a lot of natural sunlight. The patio if pet friendly! Huge plus. The food, well like I said, it's Dennys quality which disappointed me because I was hoping for a real good breakfast spot. I ordered the eggs Benedict with hash brown patty and my husband ordered the California crepe. The eggs were runny (the whites were uncooked), the hash brown patties are the frozen kind you buy at grocery store frozen section, the hollandaise sauce was out of a can, and the crepe was more like a thin pancake. Many people love this place so I guess I'm picky or it's just not my cup of tea so if I were you I would give it a try unless you really are looking for a higher quality food. read more

I don't eat breakfast very often, but when I'm visiting with family in Las Vegas it tends to happen. It was a Sunday morning when we visited Egg & I for the first time last month, and for a place I've driven by a thousand times, it was much bigger inside then I was expecting. The menu here had everything you could want out of a breakfast spot from Ham, Pancakes, and Eggs to Sausage, Bacon, and Waffles. I was feeling pretty hungry at the time so I decided to order the Chocolate Chip Pancakes with a side order of Ham. The Chocolate Chip Pancakes were pretty huge and bigger than the actual plate. They were fluffy, had a decent amount of chocolate chips in them, and tasted pretty dang good. The ham on the side was also pretty good, though as standard as you get for breakfast Ham. Overall, Egg & I was a wonderful breakfast experience and definitely a place I would revisit in the future when visiting Las Vegas. The staff was super friendly during our visit, and the best part about this place is the trains cruising around the top of the restaurant all morning long. Hungry? Check this place out. read more

Stop in here for brunch on Saturday. Service was very good from the start we sat outside Wich was very nice sunny day on the cape who can ask for anything more .
