I don't normally post a review on Yelp, but I have to leave a review for Servin's tire service because he saved my life. I had a flat tire around 5:40pm and no tire stores wanted to take me in at that time because they all close around 6pm. I called bunch of road side assistance's but none of them could fix my tire. All they offered was changing my flat tire to spare donut tire for a charge. Then I found Servin's tire service and called him up. He didn't pick up at first but he called back. I asked him I was in Pleasanton and he said he can come and fix my tire at 8:00 pm! About 45 min later, he came to my car, fixed my tire and I was able to drive back home which is about 90 miles away from where I was stranded. They came to my home in Walnut Creek the same morning that I called, quickly determined that both run flat rear tires had been penetrated by metal shards, and could not be repaired, and replaced them with identical run flat tires. The price they charged for the tires was the same price that Costco charges for them, and the entire service charge was only $100. My BMW 440i was on the road again by 2 pm the same day. This review is long overdue. I came out to my car on a Sunday only to find that my left rear tire was flat. Not too many places were open on Sunday and was lucky to come across Servín's. He came out not long after my call, hoisted the car up to find a nail had caused the flat, removed the nail, and patched up the tire. Picked up a nail in SF last night. Go figure I'm 27 years old, my first time ever renting a car because my Hondas in the shop and I puncture the rental tire with a nail for my first time ever. The timing is...what's the word for the opposite of serendipitous? William Boyd coined the term zemblanity to mean somewhat the opposite of serendipity: "making unhappy, unlucky and expected discoveries occurring by design". A zemblanity is, effectively, an "unpleasant unsurprise".... Anyways it's easter today and I was pretty unsettled about it because I live in and work in Chico and am just here visiting family, so I'm unfamiliar with the area and assuming most all tire shops are closed for Sunday and I'll probably be stuck till Monday. Well sure enough we found Servin on yelp, and Jesus said he could come out to Clayton last night but I decided to wait till morning when it was light out. He patched up the tire in about 30 minutes and I'll be on my way back home to make it to work tomorrow no problem. He is a really nice guy and he has a pretty professional set up for being mobile. Price was more than reasonable being the situation and being Easter Sunday, I felt bad because it started raining and he declined my multiple offers for coffee and my moms breakfast haha. They came out an hour earlier than expected, had the tire off, patched, and back on in 15 minutes. The guy was really nice, I think it said Brandon on his jacket. Jesus showed up on time in his mobile van fully equipped to remove and install four new balanced tires on my car that I needed to have done in order to begin restoring my '61 Oldsmobile. He did an excellent job, was knowledgable, and finished very quickly, Jesus was very personable and polite, and I cannot remember ever having had a more pleasant experience in my life! Will definitely call him back when needed and cannot imagine the job having gone any smoother or faster with anyone else! It is SO nice to not have to worry about the logistics of having to move your car somewhere... P.S. I know that we are talking about just changing four tires on a car here. All I can say is wow! I needed trailer tired changed out on my tandem boat trailer. Not a lot of businesses actually take the tires off/on on a trailer. Jesus came out mounted and balanced and put them on without me having to go anywhere. Very convenient and the price was amazing almost 50% less than les Schwab. Les schwab wanted to charge me $170 to mount balance for tires, that's absolutely crazy. They have nice people working there but good lord. Jesus has the equipment on his utility truck. I highly recommend. He likes what he does and really cares about giving exceptional service. Also nice to support local business owners. I will definitely use him again. Btw, I posted a 3 star review about les schwab and explained my experience and they deleted it. Makes you wonder about Yelp business practice. I requested Jesus's help to replace tires on my vehicle because of the rave reviews on Yelp. I set up an appointment with no issue. At my appointment time which was between 130-2 I didn't hear anything from him. I called and I texted. He eventually responded to my text and said he was on his way from Livermore at 2:50. I understand there is traffic so I gave him an hour. Still no response at 4pm. I don't know his reason for not showing up on time but it's very disrespectful to leave someone hanging the way he did me. I had to take off work to make this "appointment." He eventually showed up at 450. He said the work would take 30 mins but it took close to an hour. I had intentions of tipping him but because of his tardiness I didnt. I also didn't get an apology. In my opinion, use this person's services at your own risk. read more

My tire blew out while 30 minutes from home, and Jesus came within 20 minutes and got my tire changed for me!! I couldn't afford a brand new tire so he did what he could to bring me a used one and came and came through for me! He made sure I was all set to make it home. I have a messed up front alignment so my tires are balding, and when he saw this he rotated my tires for me also, and made sure I had enough air in them to get me on the road.
