If you have a crisis, no matter how desperate you are CALL SOMEWHERE ELSE. Do not use this company! We will soon be providing photos and emails of all the issues we've encountered as we are able. They will take all of your belongings, and throw away things without consulting you. They won't properly inventory your possessions, then they'll misplace things of all value and size -large and small, cheap and valuable. We were reassured many times that they wouldn't throw things away without our consent. They have tried to throw away some perfectly good things, and then when we requested items to be returned but they still disposed of them. Their employees will steal valuable things or at least try to! They even tried to dispose of my daughter's bible -an engraved gift from her now deceased grandmother- it is in pristine condition and is one of the items from our "unsalvageable list" that they wanted to trash but we requested it to be returned and they did, but many other irreplaceable things they did not return when they should've. They will hold your belongings hostage until your insurance company pays for the cleaning of it- our cleaning bill- just for things removed from our home was $24,000, and guess what- THEN THEY BROUGHT IT BACK FIVE WEEKS AFTER REQUESTED WITH HALF OF IT STILL COVERED IN SOOT AND DUST!!! $24,000 just for cleaning contents and they didn't even do half the work. They repeatedly delay and then charge your insurance more for storage when the delay is their doing. They will hire subpar subcontractors that damage your home- the painters applied latex paint to our oil based painted trim. No one truly takes accountability for problems they just make one excuse after another or shift the blame to another employee or department. I am not going to leave out that they have done a few things properly, but what they have done wrong far outweigh those. I would never hire this company again. Those who have failed the most are their contents team, management and the owners. Brian, Wyatt and Roy were all in our home for mitigation , they worked hard and were very polite. Brian was misleading about some of the documents he had me sign right after our fire- and now their general manager is trying to use those against us... saying we gave them permission to dispose of anything they wanted to, yet verbally and in text, they reassured us repeatedly that nothing would be thrown out without our permission. Nicole in billing wasn't good with communication in the beginning but turned it around and was very helpful. Our fire was April 5th, it's September 19th and our job still isn't quite done, we have had servpro working at our house less than 30 days total...since April. These photos are a fraction of our contents that they were paid $24,000 to clean that wasn't even touched. The last two photos are of things they brought to my home that belong to someone else. So far Servpro has done our demo for fire/water/smoke damage. Brian, Wyatt, and the rest of the demo team were phenomenal. We're very thankful for all the guidance and reassurance they gave us. There have been a few delays, but overall we are satisfied so far. They do seem over scheduled, but that is not the fault of any of the guys out working non-stop. When called they showed up with a few hours. They were very detailed when explaining to my husband and myself all the up coming steps. Very professional. But we want to give a special thanks to Wesley , Rashid ,Sean, Misty , Brian. ***Avoid at all Costs*** Our kitchen had water damage February of 2022, they are still attempting to complete the work. Not because of any intricate or delayed supplies, but because they just stopped showing up. After three months with my kitchen a shambles, I ended up paying someone else just so we could have a semi-functional kitchen while we wait for them. They bid out to replace my entire downstairs flooring, then only replaced the kitchen flooring. The flooring isn't flush, they damaged one of my granite countertops, so we had to replace the entire kitchen set of counters. The oven is still misaligned, they used caulk without silicone behind the sink which rotted away within a week. The list goes on and on. Again... this is over a year for a kitchen. Houses are built faster. Moreso, their billing department continues to send invoices claiming they have never been paid despite paying more than half of the total cost. Our house flooded. Servpro was called for water removal. They had all Of our things in the entire 3 story house packed and moved. They said the place was dry after carpet removal and driers fir a week. A few weeks later when the contractor went in to start rebuild the house was full of mold. A $50,000 mold midagatfion charge on top of rebuild. After the rebuild our things were returned. We had some claims to make with Servpro for damages in the move. I contacted them for 6 months and all they would do is put me off. It was never resolved they finally stopped returning my calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I cannot speak highly enough about this company, especially Sean and Ted. They are the epitome of professionals who truly believe in putting their customers first, providing the most positive customer service experience anyone could ever encounter. Their knowledge and expertise saved us tens of thousands of dollars (yes, I do mean tens of thousands!) and were incredibly friendly, helpful, and patient while we asked a plethora of questions, even well outside business hours. I would recommend this team to anyone, even if you just think you might have an issue. We actually had three different businesses from the area come out to give us recommendations and pricing. Servepro was the only company who refused to provide pricing or recommendations as they did not feel there was a problem. They confirmed this with testing. The other companies were looking to charge us upwards of $20,000 for remediation and would still leave us with additional bills from other contractors to restore the home to its original state as only tear down was included in their pricing.
