From top maple cream, raspberry cream, chocolate cream, lemon cream, raspberry filled, and cinnamon toast crunch.

I was craving some donuts. While I was hoping for Voodoo or Blue Star, I was too tired to walk that far. This place was right around the corner from my hotel. There weren't any truly unique donuts, but the flavors were all on point. I enjoyed the chocolate cream -My favorite. I also enjoyed the maple cream and raspberry cream. The lemon was very tart, but it cut through the sweetness.

We stopped by Sesame Donuts on our recent trip to Portland. We grabbed some donuts to take back to our hotel room and a coffee. The service was very nice, the donuts were super tasty, and the coffee was really good, as well. Nice little inexpensive shop with lots of items. Definitely recommend.

Order: Maple Boston Cream, Chocolate Glazed, & old fashion Pros: $6 and some change for 3 donuts is not bad! All these damn donuts are good you hear me?!I bit into that maple boston cream and melted! Even at 4:20pm the donuts taste fresh and moist!! I tasted all 3 donuts and they did not disappoint wooo. Service was great no issues. Cons:

Finally had time to try them out from 2g2g. Nicely filled box w great variety to try. My go to is always a simple glaze and this one did not disappoint. It was just sweet enough, airy w a light chew. The berry filled donut was lightly dusted in sugar grans vs powdered so was nice change up. Tastebuds approved. Space was large w ample seating. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Would come back to try more specialty flavs :)

My donut was okay, but the smell of the cafe was overwhelming from cleaning agents. I had to go somewhere else for coffee.

Blueberry cake donut and the chocolate old fashioned were awesome

Great donut place with nicely made donuts. One of the other reviews I had read said it's like dunkin donuts but created with better ingredients and more care, and I think that describes it pretty well! This isn't fancy-schmancy donuts, but it's great consistent and delicious donuts that are worth buying! Prices are reasonable, this would be a place I'd come to the most for donuts based on quality/price. I had a blueberry cake donut which was super yummy and a dark chocolate old fashioned type. The dark chocolate one was really good, it wasn't overly sweet and really had a chocolate punch to it. The glazed donuts were really good too.

Sesame Donuts are one of Portland main establishment. Loved by both local and tourists. They are very no frills and casual, especially this location. I'm pretty familiar with the staffs and they're always friendly and nice. Got a great selection of donuts to choose from throughout the days, whether it be your classics favorites or fancier donuts they got you covered. Their stuffs always hit the spot. Great size, great price. They're super generous with their coffee too. This time we tried the Chocolate Cream that was HEAVY with the buttermilk cream (maybe a tad too much) but if you want a filling one this is the one for you. We also got the Cinnamon Twist which was also huge but the dough was nice and light, a tad stretchy. Completely covered with a sugar glaze. This one is perfect for dipping into your coffee. Plenty of seatings inside with a park view. Definitely go say hi!

I was looking at dessert places to try while visiting portland and came across this place thru the TGTG app. This place has such a HUGE selection of donuts! I've never seen such variety in my life at a donut shop! It was fun to select from so many donuts but it also made it that much harder to choose! All of the donuts were super fresh and tasty and we loved them. My fav was the portland cream! It had a super tasty maple icing and it was filled with cream. It was fairly sweet and could not be eaten in a single sitting but, the maple flavor was delicious. Also really liked the blueberry fritter. The staff was super friendly as well and patient since we were a bit indecisive. If I'm ever back in portland, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

2 apple ciders, s'mores, salted caramel, apple crumble, and chocolate coconut

Dang, these donuts are *really* good and they aren't super expensive like other places. Eat here!! Mom and I got a half dozen. Two apple ciders, s'mores, salted caramel, apple crumble, and chocolate coconut. Absolute best donut was that apple crumble!! The donut's texture was light and airy with a hint of sweetness. I loved the apple filling inside coupled with the streusel like topping. Think Krispy Kreme donut but better and an apple pie all in one! My next favorite was the chocolate coconut! Generous amount of fresh coconut mixed with the chocolate donut paired so well together. Great overall texture as well. Also some light chocolate frosting resting on top with a big glob down the center hole, which, while very sweet, was also very yummy. Next favorite was the s'mores! Well this and the coconut one were both pretty dang good to be honest. Loved the marshmallow fluff they used. Graham cracker bits were a little soft but unless you buy one right when they get put out, that's to be expected. Really sweet but they nailed the flavor combination to really give it that s'mores taste. And again, great donut texture. The salted caramel was ok. Nothing bad about it, just nothing that really stood out either. It tasted like a maple bar to me. And the apple cider donuts weren't my cup of tea. The flavor was a bit subdued so I couldn't taste much apple cider flavor and I wasn't a fan of how those specific donuts are made with the denser texture. Too dense for me, I much prefer the light and airy donut texture they used in making the apple crumble! But overall I was extremely happy I stopped here! They have a huge selection so I'm sure you can find at least one donut that hits the spot. The staff was really nice to us the short time we were inside. The prices are affordable and you definitely get a good bang for your buck. I highly recommend buying the apple crumble! You won't regret it!

This was the first stop on a walking donut tour of Portland. We had samples of different donuts and they were all good because they were the first donuts of the day, and they were donuts... duh! I think we sampled 4 or 5 different donuts and they actually do have a sesame donut which was pretty good. It wasn't as sweet as a normal donut and probably would have been a great donut to end with after all of the other sweet donuts. Very good, classic style donuts. We also got coffee here to carry around on the tour. The coffee was fresh and good. I'd go back for the Sesame Donut alone. It was different.

    Toni Rose D.

I ordered 15 dozen of donuts without calling in advance and I didn't feel like a burden or an inconvenience. That's great customer service there. I ordered the half classic donuts and half dozen donuts. A friend recommended this spot and I highly recommend.

Hooked for life! So I picked up an order for someone else.... and I was greeted with a friendly and super happy face! I told him I was picking up an order and that it smelt Amazing in here! He smiled and ask if I wanted a donut for the road!!! I thought to myself what a saint he was. I responded with Yes please and Thank you! I had him pick the donut as I definitely trusted him instantly. So he comes back with a Raspberry Cheesecake one! What how did he know I liked cheesecake lol. Total coincidence but I was very excited and impressed at the same time! I did the happy dance all the way to the car. I didn't catch his name but he was a gem! Thank you so much kind soul for the sample donut! I did return the following morning for a half dozen! Great donuts, Happy Employees and Clean! What else do you need?

Immaculate atmosphere and the exact sort of thing we were looking for for breakfast. We didn't get her name but saw on the receipt her name might have been Davi, she was such a bundle of light and life, so attentive and kind! She immediately gave us wonderful recommendations which we all adored. The table ordered praline bacon to share (do yourself a favor and get this), one ordered the praline bacon waffle, another ordered the bananas foster waffle, and I got the seasonal vegetable hash. We were all in HEAVEN with what we ordered. From the first bite to the last it we were all absolutely stunned by how delicious and well made everything was. I savored every bite as did my compatriots. One gal ordered a couple things to go for her family (huevos rancheros for the hubby and cinnamon rolls for her kiddos) and our waitress Davi recommended they bring out the cinnamon rolls unfired so that she could pop them in the oven when she got home after a short drive. It was such good attention to detail that felt like such a friendly offer. Absolute superstars, the lot of you. Next time I'm back in Portland I'm absolutely spoiling some friends here with what I can only describe as a transcendent experience.

He told me that they would clean off a table for me. WOO HOO. I bursted out crying at the thought that I finally got my seat. As I sat down a soft chair graced my bottom. Beautiful. I looked around and the scenery was beautiful. As I looked at the menu, my eyes sharply turned to the chicken and waffles. Deliciously perfect choice. I ordered my food and got a coffee. My chicken and waffles arrived and I took a bite. I started floating. My soul left my body. I looked down at my body as I floating away, I was enjoying every bite. I reached the heavens. We decided on outdoor patio seating since the weather was nice & it was generally quieter outside. When our waiter eventually tended to us, he was incredibly friendly & apologetic, owning up to the delay being on him, but we were cool with it -poor guy was working a double shift. We started off with deep-fried okra, I ordered the fried chicken meal, & hubby ordered the burger. I got to pick the chicken pieces I wanted, so I went with 2 thighs, thinking they'd be smaller pieces, so I could maybe finish my meal. I opted for collard greens as well. The food came relatively quickly and was super-fresh. The fried okra bits were piping hot down to the last bite. They went well with the spicy aioli. We hung onto the aioli so hubby could dip his fries. My meal was so good. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. The batter was just perfect and crisp. Mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. Gravy was rich and well-seasoned. Collard greens were so tasty. The balance of textures was just perfection. I ended up having to pack up a piece of chicken because it was so much food, but I enjoyed every bite I was able to take of my meal. I appreciated their welcoming vibe & the beautiful pride balloon arch inside the restaurant. I appreciated the friendly service. I appreciated the thoughtfully and expertly made food.
