Came here to get my pictures taken (not for a wedding LOL) and I loved the pictures! The photographer was Yangzhi (? may have spelled it incorrectly), he was super nice and amazing to talk to! Very talented in his line of work and made sure everything was perfect. The lady who did my makeup was really talented and made me look wonderful. After my photoshoot I accidentally left my slides at the place and we were already back home when we realized. I had to go to the airport for a flight so this business was on the way and a lady who works there stayed until after closing to wait for us! But Sese team put great effort on my it and managed to have us scheduled (I feel very lucky). We chose 4 places including Fitzgerald Marine Reserve, 17 Miles and Carmel-by-Sea (streets and beach). We stumbled into their shop randomly looking for a photographer for our pre-wedding photo shoot. They were very welcoming. You can choose multiple locations for photo shoots depending on your package. They also have a wide selection of beautiful wedding dress and tuxes for you to choose from. Their customer service was excellent and very professional. The make up artist Lisa and photographer LiWei were awesome and very accommodating to our schedule. They did not waste anytime with our photo shoot. LiWei was good in instructing us on how to pose and good use of lighting and shadows. His style is more of a traditional vibe and less candid. Our package was at 3 locations (sf city hall, palace of fine arts, and Sutro bath) and 3 outfit changes for 8hrs total. I highly recommend it. read more

DO NOT TRUST THEM! I rented a wedding gown from Memory Photo Gallery on the advice of a restaurant manager. Yes, they do rent wedding gowns and tuxedos a la carte. In January, I went to their store and tried on several wedding gowns and found one I really liked. They said that as long as I put down 50% of the rental fee, they would reserve the gown for my wedding in April and not rent to anyone else. Three weeks before the wedding, I called to find out that they didn't do any of the things they said they'd do in our January meeting--they didn't reserve the gown that I wanted and they told me it would not be "economical for their business" to do so-- and I had to go back to try on wedding gowns again! I am totally fine with them renting it out before my wedding, but why did they tell me that they would hold it in the first place?? This isn't the worst of it. After re-selecting a wedding gown, they told me I had to pay another safety deposit to make sure I won't mess up the dress on top of the rental fee. When I was there in January, they never mentioned anything about a safety deposit. They seem to add on cost wherever and whenever they like. They went on to say there would be a cleaning fee of $100 if the returned dress was really dirty, and they had no intention of being picky, just a precaution. However, but when I actually returned the gown, they asked for $150 even though there was no obvious stains on the outside (Please see picture). They said that the gown wasn't returned in "new" condition. Of course it wasn't. I had to actually wear it for my wedding. I confronted them about these issues and they said the deposit was for a supposed "new" gown and the previous gown that I had chosen in January was an "old" gown. When I confronted them about the cleaning fee, they conceited their mistake and gave me the $100 cleaning fee price. All in all, this place put a damper on my wedding because I felt couldn't trust their word. I would be fine with all the fees if they had told me at the very beginning. However, it seemed that they would make things up as I got more committed in the process of renting from them and they just added more and more fees. They like to use the words "their policy" is this, "their policy" is that, but the truth is "their policy" is to get as much money off of you as they can. I have two friends getting married this year. I will DEFINITELY NOT recommend this place to any of my friends. read more

I brought my baby here to have a couple pictures taken for his birthday invitations. I didn't want to run the risk of having an inexperienced high school student take his photos in a crowded dirty studio, then have them try and upsell their packages when I really only needed one or two pictures. I called this place after seeing their good reviews on yelp, and they were able to see is the next day. Plus one star for that. They went above and beyond what I wanted, taking quite a few pictures in their studio and really worked hard to get some good shots on my sometimes serious baby. For a small extra fee, they sent me the edited photo right away and allowed me to use it on his invites. Often, places like Sears make you pay a lot for a copyright release. Another star for that. Overall I was very satisfied with the customer service and quality of the photos and prints. I would definitely come back here next time we want to take pictures. read more

She started helping me with make-up in the morning, made me and my fiance look so good with different styles at different places, helped me with different looks, matched with different decorations. The make-ups are natural but pretty! She followed us for the whole day, helped us refine make-ups, changing hairstyles and sometimes help the photographer to held the reflector. First of all, I rarely write reviews, but the customer services my husband and I received from SESE were so exceptional that I want to give them a shoutout! We stopped by their bridal shop in Millbrae about 2 weeks before our civil ceremony. Huanhuan, the dog, was welcoming even though we had never met! The owner, Hong, explained to us details about different photography packages and showed us their previous work. As busy as they were, they were able to accomodate our schedule on such a short notice. They left a great first impression so we signed the contract and paid upfront on the spot, without shopping around. The customer service associate, Xuanxuan, patiently helped me choose the rental gowns. I was indecisive but she gave her best professional and personal opinions. On 3/13, the day of our civil ceremony at SF city hall, we showed up at the store at 8:00am. The makeup artist Chloe was right on time. She obviously had a lot of experience as every step seemed to come as second nature to her. She amazed me with her attention to details-she insisted on making sure my double eyelids were the same size and eyebrows rise to the same level when I smile, even though I honestly didn't care much. :). Both my husband and I were not comfortable in front of cameras but Xiaozhi, the photographer, put us at ease with his warm, easy-going, playful personality. He showed us the most beautiful spots around city hall; taught us a variety of poses; and fixed my husband's attire..etc. We also took photos near the Golden Gate Bridge and Chinatown. At the beach, he got his shoes wet just to capture our candid moments! He truly went above and beyond. We also had so much fun making silly poses at Chinatown. At the end of the day, It felt like Xiaozhi and we went on a fun adventure around San Francisco. We hope he enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed his. We also admire the passion he has for photography. The sparks in his eye when he was crafting magic with his camera was a pure joy to watch. A couple of days later we received a link to download photos from google drive. The photos turned out amazing. Friends, family, co-workers applauded the talent of the photographer.
