Came here with my brother Greg, I was craving some pizza and we walked past this place and decided to take a peek. The vibe inside was nice. Very spacious and a nice place to have a late lunch early dinner. We were greeted immediately and we sat at a booth. I ordered a Pinot and Cary (our waiter) suggested a beer for my brother. We ordered a margherita pizza and bruschetta. It was delicious and came out fast. So much flavor and just the right crisp! Our waiter Cary was so nice and very attentive. We definitely will come again! Highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Pasadena

The pizza was good. There was flop, however the under carriage was good. I would go back again and try other things. Typical restaurant setting that can accommodate large parties. The service was friendly and attentive.

Very chic place. Very open atmosphere with bar in the middle. We ended up sitting at the bar as they were quite busy. Cocktail was okay. Bruchetta I was not a fan of no flavor at all. However I loved the salad and pizza. Both my favorite. The salad good enough to share between two people delicious and the dressing was good. The ice cream I wanted was sold out so I tried the other flavor basically eating a cold snickers bar. It was good just not my favorite. Overall good place!

Quattro Formaggi (Four Cheese) with sausage and garlic. Highly recommend.

Just moved back to LA and wanted to find a solid pizza spot for when I visit Pasadena. I'm so glad I came here. I ordered the Quattro Formaggi (with sausage and garlic added), Insalata and a Rusty Hen. All three were delicious! If I had to be a harda** I'd say the pizza could have cooked for a minute longer, but I'll just specify well done next time. The Rusty Hen made my tastebuds happy, and the bartender - Evan - was super attentive. I will definitely be back, hope this helps!

One of my new favorite pizza spots! Settebello has 3-6 PM happy hour and pizza deals. But what's better than a good deal is their quality of service and food! I ordered a classic Margherita pizza and another one with hot pepperoni. Both were fresh out of the oven with melt-in-your-mouth cheese and just so delicious at every bite. The staff manage the busy hours well and make the conscious efforts to check in with each table multiple times. I love the date night ambiance as well. I'll be back to try more of their pizzas and speciality cocktails!

Whatever pizza dough they're using, I love it because the pizza crusts are so fluffy! We ordered 2 pizzas and a prosciutto which came with focaccia flat bread. I'm normally not a fan of focaccia because I've had a bunch of hard ones, but this is one of the best I've had because of how fluffy it was. As for the pizza toppings, I thought they were alright. For the Margherita, I couldn't really taste much of the tomato sauce until I got close to the crust, so from the tip and working my way toward the crust was mostly just mozzarella cheese. The carbonara was a bit weird because the mozzarella cheese layer was thicker than the pizza dough itself. The bacon slices were also very thin that there was almost no texture. Overall, the main thing I liked about both were the fluffy pizza crusts. The prosciutto was definitely a hit for me. I normally don't go out of my way for this but glad my boyfriend suggested it. They gave a generous amount of sliced ham and the cheese cubes and sun dried tomatoes were delicious!

Hubbers recently brought home the Settebello pizza for me to try and I truly loved it, so we agreed that should we both find ourselves within a 5-mile radius, we'd make a stop. It wasn't long after that experience when we finally were nearby. Never mind we were full coming from a family get together not too far away; stopping here was a must. A spot opened up on their lot behind the building as we arrived so we were lucky in that regard. The place was poppin' as we walked in, and with luck being on our side still, we availed of a couple of seats at the bar. I got the chance to take a good look around. The decor screamed an Italian theme, for sure. Nicely done, might I add, with little items and pictures among other things that sorta made me forget for a second I was in Pasadena. Started with a couple of brewskis as we scanned through the menu. Everything looked so good it took us a good minute to decide. It finally came down to two items: BEET SALAD: I will admit this - I can't stand beets. Taste, texture, aroma - just all of it, not for me. I was hesitant to try it but Hubbers really like beets. I'll be happy to say this place found a way for me to like it. It wasn't even about the beets, but they put together other items to make it enjoyable. The strong aroma of goat cheese and the crunch of the almonds sorta neutralized my dislikes, and since I love arugula, it ended up being a winner. The amount of vinaigrette splashed through was perfect. Everything tasted so fresh. I honestly liked it! PIZZA POLPETTE: Hubbers asked for it cooked extra crispy, but he remembered to ask a couple of minutes after we put in our order. Our server did inform his colleagues working the brick oven, and they might have forgotten because it wasn't as crispy as we would have wanted. However! It didn't really take away the pie's overall flavor. The dough is what makes each bite, so good! They were also generous with the amount of toppings. As full as we were, can't believe we had more than one slice each! BAMBOLINI: We initially turned down dessert, but Hubbers decided to put in an order of these round goodies to have at home. I had a bite the next day, and I'll say it's best to have at the restaurant. FOOD: 4.5. SERVICE: 5. Staff were amazing and attentive. VALUE: 4. A bit pricey, but worth it. PARKING: Street and Private lot in the back. We didn't have trouble finding a spot in the lot on a Saturday night. OVERALL: 4.5. There will be visits in the future, be it dine in or takeout, but we will return!

4.5/5 Solid Neopolitan pizza place. I love potato toppings on pizza haha, and was lucky that their market special happened to be a potato pizza that day! I feel the dough could have been chewier though and parts of the pizza were a bit too salty. The bruschetta was alright; I would have preferred to have some cheese with it instead of pancetta. The insalata was great. Tiramisu was delicious!! The inside is spacious and beautiful. Small parking lot on the side on Boston St with around 2-3 spaces left on a Wednesday afternoon 12:30. Ample street parking with a 1 hr limit. Great service.

I enjoyed Settebello more than I thought I would! Came on a weeknight and the restaurant was busy-ish. The space is huge, plenty of seats and easy to sit a party with kids. The pizzas we ordered were all delicious and the portion sizes were large enough for 2 pizzas, 2 salads for 4 people + getting dessert nearby. Parking available in an adjacent lot or plenty of street parking.

We came here with a group of 14 people and they had one long set of tables together to accommodate large groups like ours. It was nice to see a couple 50 lb sacks of Caputo 00 flour blue label. Right away I knew they had a 900 degree oven. They had a fair number of beers on tap and several looked like my style. I ordered a dark amber lager which was a good match to a margarita pizza. The pizza comes out super fast. Only needs one minute to cook in the wood fire oven. Some in our group are used to Papa John's pizza and were a bit overwhelmed by the floral Italian descriptions of their pies. "Where's the sausage and pepperoni pizza?" Was a common question. Yes you can get a pie with those meats--look harder people! The Insalate Grande was a fully loaded salad with large slices of thin parm cheese on top. It was pretty good but I felt it was heavy on the olives and light on the artichoke hearts. We also tried the crustini with white beans. It was good but a bit salty with the bacon slice on top. I would have liked it more on a thinner slice of bread. Overall it had lots of good food and pizza is their specialty. Don't look for pasta at this place. The meatball dish had rave remarks by those in our party that tried it. There is parking behind the restaurant if you go past the house converted to a salon.

I came here for lunch and had a great time! This place serves good, authentic Neopolitan-style pizza from a wood burning oven. Food (5/5) - We ordered the diavola pizza and it came relatively quick, maybe like 5-10 minutes after ordering. We shared one pizza amongst two people and we both were content after, each having 3 slices. The pizza was cooked nicely, it was spicy which I personally liked, and the dough was great. It was fluffy, crispy, and not soggy! The flavor blew me away and all the ingredients were well balanced with the tomato, cheese, and spice. Service (5/5) - The service was great. We came on a Saturday afternoon and the restaurant wasn't that busy. We got seated right away and the server gave us waters and menus. Ambiance (5/5) - This location is bigger than the original location. I personally like the ambiance here as it's big and spacious, and the bar in the middle of the restaurant is really well laid out. You can see the wood burning oven in the back, and there's also available free parking in the back of the restaurant.

My husband & I visited on 2/11 for an early Valentine's day dinner. I have been to their old location in Pasadena with my mom before, so I was excited to take my husband to try it. We didn't know it was on the super busy street & almost drove past it. They don't have a designated parking lot so street parking or the little lot across the street worked for us. Walked over to the restaurant & it was crowded but not overly packed. We got a table near the window without waiting too long. The space was nice, very spacious compared to their last location. We were seated for a good while before anyone came to bring waters or check in with us. My husband made eye contact with an employee then told someone else then a woman came to help us. Not sure of her name. My husband & I chose our drinks. A beer for him & Pasadena Pineapple for me. Both were good, the Pasadena Pineapple was good, a little strong but still tasty. We ordered the polpette pizza and involtini salad. The salad was good, we enjoyed that but it was a lot of arugula for our usual liking. The pizza was okay, we thought there could be more flavor & my husband commented that it looked like the toppings, specifically the meatballs were thrown on the pizza. The crust is thin which is something I don't mind but everything just fell off the pizza so I ate it with a fork really. We asked for parmesan twice but never got it so we started to eat our food because the pizza was getting cold. We didn't really get any good customer service, it was just okay. She was there to take our order & food then left. We had to try to get her attention so she could bring us the check. We were trying our best to get out of there because we could tell we weren't going to get serviced in an appropriate amount of time. Compared to the initial visit I had with my mom, you could taste the freshness of the ingredients, the flavor & attention to detail was there. Not sure if they changed management or ingredients but their previous location was a better experience in my opinion. I think if we do decide to visit again, we may just order out versus being in the restaurant because it didn't feel as welcoming as my initial visit.

I love the convenience of this spot near my office. I've become a bit of a regular because the staff are so friendly and the pizzas and salads are so delicious. They have a lovely non alcoholic cocktail with passion fruit that I'm obsessed with! The environment is high ceilinged and big, but the noise level isn't too high. It's got an open kitchen and I like seeing the pizza oven

    Do you have a bar?

    yes!

    Is there a happy hour?

My friends used to meet up there for their happy hour. They have a special happy hour menu for food... Things keep changing so it's best to double check. The days and the hours.

Do they take reservations for groups? Just called and they will not take reservations even for groups.

Should probably call to ensure that

    Do they serve drsserts?

Yes, they have dessert. In fact, you will see some in the photos.

    Least busiest time on saturday?

    Do they take reservations?

    No, walk-in only

    Is there outdoor sitting?

Yes, there are a few tables outside along the sidewalk.

    Is there a cork fee?

I read it was $15 but that was in 2016.

What time and days do they have their happy hour?

i'd call to double check but it was m-f from 3-6

Does the GF crust have egg or is there a vegan option?

The GF doesn't have egg in it. They don't have vegan cheese but you can add or subtract items on the menu to make any pizza vegan. Regular dough is vegan as well.

Location is on the second floor, almost hidden but don't worry, to locate it, just walk west, towards lake st once you're upstairs, it's wrapped around the little brunch spot. You can actually miss it if you're not too familiar. Pizza. Astounding. Definitely fresh ingredients. Tastes like Detroit style. Massive amount of cheese but not too much where it's overpowering. The pepperoni were the right amount as they double up the layers, hence the name. The workers were quick to attend to our needs. Service was definitely what you'd expect for a restaurant. However , dining location indoors only is quite small, maybe about 3-4 tables with shut 4 seats to each. Overall, I would come back and try their other pies, we love pizza and this is our new favorite place to visit when we're in the area!

I've had a lot of pizza from New York City, to Italy, to many destinations in between and this crust is up there as some of the best especially to be based in California. That being said, I've had better pizza. The sauce really left something to be desired. It was underwhelming and a bit bland. The wow factor was definitely missing and sauce tends to really make or break a good slice of pizza. Same goes for the cheese used...It just lacked that yummy cheesy goodness you usually anticipate when you bite into a slice and it didn't help that they were a little skimpy with how much cheese they put on their pizza. I think this place would be phenomenal if they took the time to nail the sauce down and really invested in good quality cheese. They're so close just missing the mark on the flavor. The crust absolutely saves them from being bad but it still made it just an "okay" slice of pizza. The staff at the order window were friendly and helpful. The environment could use a little cleaning but overall it seems like it reflected the hipster/ quick eats vibe they're going for and it works for their business. Try this spot out and judge for yourself.

The service has been consistently friendly and attentive both times I've visited. The food has honestly been fantastic. This has quickly become my go-to spot when I want a really good pizza made with fresh, quality ingredients. The dough is one of my favorite parts, not too heavy, not too thin, and it has the perfect crisp to it. Their macaroni and cheese was amazing too. You can tell they use good quality cheese because it wasn't oily, clumpy, or overly greasy like a lot of places. Everything was smooth, rich, and well balanced. I also tried the broccolini, which tasted really good overall. Personally, I would've loved a little garlic on it and for it to be cooked slightly softer since it was still pretty crunchy, but that's just my own preference and not really a complaint. The Caesar salad was excellent as well. It is a little pricier compared to some other pizza spots nearby, but honestly not by much, and when you compare the ingredient quality and overall experience, it's absolutely worth it.

The charred breadcrumb topping added the perfect crunch, and the portion size was ideal for two adults. It had that perfect cheese pull--and then some. 5/5 - Pepperoni Pizza (with added sausage) The pizza was excellent. I loved that we could add sausage, and the crust was amazingly light. My partner likes dipping pizza in ranch, and the crust (especially the edge) was perfect for that. If you're not a fan of overly saucy pizza, this is definitely for you--the sauce doesn't overpower the sausage or pepperoni. The cheese was evenly distributed, so every bite felt balanced. 3/5 - Broccolini The broccolini was just okay. I liked the char and the slight smoky flavor, along with the hint of lemon and cheese on top. However, I wish it had been blanched a bit more, as it was crunchier than I prefer. The tops were slightly over-charred for my taste, and the texture didn't quite come together. You order before being seated, which is a bit different, and then it's open seating--bar seats, booths, or tables depending on your preference. We chose a corner booth since there was a birthday party in the center of the restaurant. The space can comfortably accommodate groups of 5-10 people. One thing to note (not the restaurant's fault) is that there were children running around quite a bit, which made it feel a little chaotic at times. Since there aren't any activities or designated areas for kids, it would be nice if parents were a bit more mindful so everyone can enjoy their dining experience. The servers were extremely nice and attentive, especially when it came to refilling drinks. You may need to check in with them for things like to-go boxes, but overall the service was solid. Overall, I would come back again.

When you enter The establishment you are immediately aware of the great aromas coming from the kitchen. After walking through some tables and chairs, I was greeted at the counter by a friendly hello and 'how can I help you?' I asked a number of questions concerning the menu. I knew there was pizza but I wanted to know more about their sandwiches and salads. I found out that they do have daily / weekly specials that are a great value. I decided to order a special small Italian sausage pizza and an order of six nude chicken wings with ranch dip on the side. I sat down and waited for the order to be completed. There were a few people at some tables finishing up their lunch. While I was there the phone was constantly ringing with takeout orders. The walls had simple decorations that created a nice ambiance. When my order was called, I was given instructions on how to carry the bag as to not disturb the toppings and cheese on the pizza. As I walked, the smell of the fresh pizza and wings was enticing. The wings were just as I ordered. I enjoyed that they have not been overcooked. The wings were tender and moist. The ranch dressing dipping sauce was a great choice. I look forward to trying some of their other homemade sauces. The Italian Sausage Pizza was cooked just the way I like it. The crust had a nice crisp bottom and great flavor. The toppings of olive and onion were a perfect combination with the Italian sausage. I was happy that I ordered the small size rather than the mini so that I could enjoy some cold pizza the next day. Great flavor even on day two. On another trip I ordered the Italian Grinder Sandwich and a large Antipasto Salad. The salad was full of flavor and fresh vegetables and meats. The sandwich was huge. More ingredients than I expected with a great Italian flavor, the bread was incredible as well. I tried the sandwich both cold and hot and both ways the flavor was the star of this sandwich. I look forward to coming back and enjoying some of the other items on their menu. Fresh pastas are next on my list of things to try. I anticipate that whatever I order will be exceptional!

The cashier casually asked if we still wanted it, and we said yes because we do like the pizza here. They went ahead and made it for us. We were a bit disappointed that there was no apology or any small gesture to make up for the mix-up. It would have been nice if they had communicated the delay better. We'll still come back for the pizza, but I hope they can improve how they handle online orders in the future.

We ordered a spaghetti and meatballs, and it was delivered without the meatballs. Huh. Got fixed. Meatballs are delicious. Better than Charlie's Trio (where it seemed too heavy on the breadcrumbs, which made the whole meatball soggy and meh, although I prefer the marinara sauce at Charlie's - it's sweeter. Mamma's is more tangy, which my partner prefers. Anyway......saucy tangent aside...). We also got a mushroom/spinach pizza which was delicious, and an appetizer of toasted cheese ravioli. They gave us some free garlic knots to start. Delish. You order at the counter and they give you a number. The tables were moderately clean. The (very nice) staff member who came to our table when we realized there were no meatballs asked us to dig under the noodles to see if the meatballs were...hiding? We earnestly asked him, "Do you see any meatballs?" because, I dunno, maybe they were really tiny meatballs? We collectively concluded that there were no meatballs, so some delicious meatballs was brought to our table posthaste. Solid service. They also have this pay-by-the-ounce system of beers, which I had never seen! I've seen it with wines. It's like pinkberry, but with beers! This seems like a great idea if you want to try a few different beers. Might do that next time.

The pizza was amazing, the crust is crispy, buffalo sauce isn't too spicy which we enjoyed. We did order to go and it was still hot when we got home. There's parking on the street right in front or in the back. Many stores close by to walk off the food as well. Stopped by again during the day, unexpectedly it was a Thursday as well. It was empty despite it being close to lunch hour. They have special pizza depending on the day. Today they had a pesto chicken pizza. We got the lunch special as well.
