I'm so glad that this restaurant survived the Eaton fire! But they did suffer from losing power and subsequently losing all their perishable food inventory and having to go through smoke clean up. Please come and visit this Pasadena gem! 3 generations of family owned serving delicious food! I was born and raised just up the street from the restaurant and have fond memories of family meals at this wonderful restaurant. There is nothing bad on the menu. Whenever it is too packed to get a table we just order to go and eat at home. The pizzas are awesome and the pasta dishes are on point! The antipasto salad is a must! Be warned about huge servings! They do have a full bar, not just beer and wine. Please come and enjoy some awesome Italian food from a mom and pop style restaurant. You won't regret it! The crust was round and well tossed, the toppings were generous, the sauce was just right for us, and the service was fast and friendly. I will go back. The place is located on the corner of Washington Blvd. It has a small dining room and a pick up location. We ordered carry out and our order was completed in less than 20 mins. The service was quick and friendly. We couldn't decide which sub we wanted so we ordered two- meatball and roast beef - they ate large subs and so we cut them into thirds to try as well as the fried zucchini. The meatballs were covered with marinara and served in a toasted roll- it was good. The roast beef was tender, tasty and topped with cheese, mushrooms and onions. This was my favorite one. It went well with the slices of friend zucchini dipped in marinara. This meal was a bargain when you divide it three ways because it is enough for three! read more

Domenicos has been through a lot through the many years they've been open. The past year has been uniquely challenging for the family and the neighborhood. I've enjoyed many menu items, including the Big "D" special pizza and garlic bread with cheese. Their flavors are always on point, and I usually have leftovers for another couple meals. I know everybody's very protective of their pizza preference, but Domenicos is excellent! I've also enjoyed the meat lasagne and fettucini alfredo. Both were great, the alfredo being very creamy and strongly flavored with parmesan. The antipasto salad is great too. Mama Rosa's recipes are unique and filled with flavor. It's nice to support a family-owned business with a great reputation. I look forward to trying their other pasta dishes and sandwiches. All of their information is on their website. Like my previous review stated I've been a customer since the 90's- My daughter is visiting from the Bay Area and we planned to have dinner here- when we arrived, it was closed - we were 18 min late. We decided to order food at the takeout side but couldn't find somewhere to go eat it- it's raining- We live far and too wet to go to a park. Luckily I recognized a regular employee there - she greeted me and I mentioned our problem and asked if there was any way we could possibly use one of their tables- without hesitation she said hold on a min- came back and literally opened the restaurant for us- there were 7 of us. I had lunch with friends this Saturday at Domenico's inside the restaurant. This was the first time I have been inside the restaurant since 2019 since they reopened the dine in restaurant. I had been ordering takeout but I missed sitting inside. This visit was extra special because one of the friends in our group I had not seen for 9 years. One friend ordered chicken parm and another friend and I ordered a large pepperoni and meatball pizza. The pizza was made to perfection. Thin, crispy, cheesy and the meat balls were delicious. The pizza I received wasn't anywhere near the quality I've had in the past. It honestly felt like it was made for kids--very different from what I'm used to here. As an Italian food aficionado & connoisseur, I've been to countless Italian restaurants. Domenico's is by far the best of the best in all of Southern California. I live in San Bernardino and am surrounded by an abundance of Italian eateries however, driving the 50+ mile trip to Dom's is no issue when it comes down time to get great quality food, with the upmost service from Joe. Restaurant decor sets you into a time travel & places you in the middle of Italy without the crazy expense of catching a flight.
