Our first dinner in Italy we came here and was not disappointed! My dad and I both got pasta one meat one seafood and for our second course I had the veal and he got risotto. Amazing!! Our waiter was so nice and entertaining I never felt embarrassed trying to speak Italian or just speaking in English. It was super busy so make a reservation but I got a reservation 3 hours before so it's a good last minute option! The inside is cute and clean. Mimmo is king ! Our best dinner in Milano. We stopped in after a long day of a not-so-great guided tour (a story for another review). So, we were a bit grumpy. Our waiter, Mimmo, was attentive, friendly, and able to make some great recommendations for us. Our grumpiness faded as soon as our food arrived and Mimmo dropped off our Aperol spritz and wine. Not all places are exactly "foreigner friendly" in Milan, so it was nice to find a place willing to deal with our clumsy navigation of the menu. Great food! The food was incredible and there was a vegan risotto option. All of the food was delicious and fresh. The service was great and the waiters were so kind and friendly, especially Mary. She was very helpful with accommodating vegan options. They were pretty fast with bring out food and bread and were very cooperative with all our accomodations. Turns out this place is not very good at all. Reserved online for a table on a Thursday at 9. Arrived to a mostly empty restaurant. Started with the scallops and ordered two pieces. Scallops were bland and small and buried in a breadcrumb mountain that was stale chewy and hard. Some of them so hard I had spit them out. Scallops were also heated unevenly. They had to have been sitting out a while. I followed with the spaghetti with white clam sauce. It was serviceable but there were not many clams at all. Some of the shells were also empty. I left rather disappointed. Did not bother with desert. No way is this place anywhere close to 4.5 stars. read more

This was one of the best meals I had in Italy--absolutely delicious! It reminded me of the Schnitzel I tried in Austria and was exactly what I was craving in Milan.
