This was my first time coming to SEV Laser and my first time ever doing lip injections, and I am overjoyed with the treatment I received along with the results. I naturally have very thin lips and I was nervous that it was going to be unnatural and also hurt. I decided to go in with a full syringe for the first time as I was advised to do so. The service I received from both nurse Lia and Lina was unmatched to any service I have received at any other laser clinics. The process was painful although numbing cream was given before the procedure; however, both nurses guided me through the entire process with incredible care and consideration. I have a very low pain tolerance and began getting nauseous at one point because I had failed to eat before I came into the procedure (totally my fault). Nurse Lina and Lia were both so kind to have gotten me a cookie during the procedure to help me with my nausea. Aside from the incredible customer service and care I received from both nurse Lina and Lia, I am absolutely obsessed with the results. It has now been two weeks since the procedure, and after allowing the swelling and bruising to subside, I am in love with my new lips. Everyone who sees my lips, including my friends and family, mention how natural and nice it looks on me and my lip shape. Lina truly knows what she is doing, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my lips! I always thought I would never be able to get laser because I have fair/medium tanned skin and dark hair, and have always seen articles that say you have to have pale skin and dark hair in order to get laser. So in the last year when I saw that the Kardashians, and other celebrities with darker skin have gone to their other locations, and after getting a referral from one of my friends who has gone to Sev for a couple of years - I finally decided to try it out. I have now been going to Sev the last two months for laser hair removal and I'm so glad I bit the bullet and tried laser after getting waxed for the last year, and also shaving. I've seen pretty good results just after the 1st session and a lot of hair has stopped growing, or growing at a slower rate, there are still a bunch of stragglers, but I know that's normal and the reason why they recommend 4-6+ treatments to get everything. The 2nd time I went recently to get it done, it barely hurt at all for me and had learned that you need to shave really good and not leave any hairs unshaved or else it burns more when the laser is beamed on your skin. I'd recommend anyone to go get laser and I was surprised by their pricing for everything since I know celebrities go to their other various locations. Now I'm thinking of getting more laser done so I can be hair free. read more

Especially when you're laying naked, spread eagle on the table. Yeah, I'd say comfort level matters in those moments. The front desk is awesome, too. Always friendly on the phone and in person. What: Laser hair removal for cheap cheap cheap! Seriously, you can't beat their prices. Before I found Sev on Yelp, I called a spa in WeHo to check prices for hair removal for underarms. Ready for it?.... $250 for one session! Highway robbery. At Sev, you can get your entire body, head to toe, for that (or less). Where: I was a little thrown by the main building at first. It's a bit old and when I'm thinking about medical lasers zapping my skin, I want a sleek, medical looking environment. I know that shouldn't matter but this is a review so I'm putting it all out there. But don't let that deter you because their specific office, however, is very cute. Small, clean and very feminine. And stocked with yummy sugary treats. Why: Because the lasers are great and the results are even better. I've only been a few times but already I am shaving less and having fewer porcupine moments when I get cold goose bumps on my legs. What to remember: Come fully shaven. It's not a wax. Don't let it all hang out. Also, don't tan before going in. You'll have better results. Run don't walk. It's a gem. read more

I've been here twice. The first time the nurse was backed up which had me wait a little under an hour. Second time was this Friday and the same nurse was on top of her game; was in and out of there under 5 minutes. AMAZING! I have had laser done before at another place (a few years back) and had a bad experience, it did not work. I was hesitant of going to any laser hair removal clinic but my wish to have smooth skin pushed me to take a risk. I'm glad I did, I was so nervous on my first visit, I was thrown off a bit when they told me I had to be cleared by the doctor, but that was just a quick FaceTime call. The technician actually asked me how the laser felt and re-adjusted the levels according to what felt appropriate for me. I left excited and couldn't wait to see the results, which were better than I'd expected after a first visit. I've had two treatments only but the results are amazing!!! I like this place & it's very nice but the nurse that did my underarms didn't make me feel comfortable. she was very quiet & didn't explain any post care directions. she seemed very rude and unhappy. i mean i know we all have those days & i understand but i don't know... i remember the first time i walked in there & the same nurse questioned me "oh so you're ___?" & looked up and down at me which i found very rude but i let it slide... i will still continue to come here to do my laser hair removal treatments, because the service isn't bad, just the nurse really bothers me. the receptionist is super nice, though. overall, it's a good place. read more
