They have a special where if you buy 5 sessions, you get 1 free. It was a great intro to laser hair removal and I just booked my appointment for another area! What really stood out to me was that even though I got a text message reminder the day before (my fault, completely) I totally forgot the next day. I thought I had to forfeit my appointment, but the sweet staff member reached out via text and then called me! She was happy to reschedule my appointment. I just completed a 6- treatment package. Their prices are already completely reasonable, but buying the package, you get a treatment free- awesome! I saw the most benefit from the first treatment, and then incremental improvement with each treatment. There was a long pause in my treatments due to the COVID shutdown, but I appreciated how strict they were with precautions when reopening. This place is incredibly busy, but you may schedule ahead for many appointments- as long as you do that, you'll be fine. Staff is very professional. Not bubbly or chatty, which I actually like. The instrument used blows out cool air while the laser does it's thing and feels a bit like a rubber band snap against your skin. I really like that it doesn't require messy gel to work. read more

I booked about two months ago, yes it takes about two months to book with them. After booking, I receive a text message that they want my passport. I am not going to share mu passport to get lasers. I have been doing laser for a long time and no place has ever asked for my ID or anything. They also ask you to sign bunch papers, I am assuming this place will eventually sell your identity or use it. It is shady to give passport and sign so many documents for laser treatment. I believe I will get a lawyer to understand why booking takes so long and last minute before you know anything about signing your life away. I want all my money back. read more

I'm continuing my hair removal for the last 5 years and know how the result should look like. I came at SEV Los Gatos in August because recently move to this location and did the treatment with Leah everything was like always and hair fall out in a week. Second time when I came back in September the treatment did Amelie she was unconfident and unprofessional when she was trying to set up an intensity. After several tries I told her that I don't feel the reaction but she proceeds the treatment anyway, as a result nothing falls out even in two weeks. I called them to explain situation and got only answer that the next time they try to put higher intensity but nobody will respond for unprofessional treatment, my money and time. Unfortunately the place looks like a scam because even after I said I had a lot of procedures in the past a nurse told I should do with them at least 5 treatments to see something. Where she got this number if she doesn't even know how my body reacts? read more

I was very nervous because I bought a Groupon and I've had a few bad experiences when redeeming Groupons in the past. However this was not the case at SEV. The ladies there are so helpful and patient with me. I had my first appointment with Irene and she was AWESOME! She made sure I was comfortable and happy with my treatment. The laser is painless because of the cold air and the prices at SEV are very reasonable. If I had to have two complaints, is that appointments are hard to make because they are so busy and some spots are missed which is fine because they eventually will get them in the upcoming sessions. They're good but as my treatments go on, I'm realizing that the nurses aren't very accurate in keeping track of areas they have or have not lasered. I have areas that are completely hair free, with the exception of small patchy spots, which is so annoying! OMG!!! This place is amazing :) I recently stopped my waxing routine because in between appointments it can be kind of inconvenient to grow the hair down there(if you know what I mean). As I was searching for new options I stumbled upon they're Groupon discounts! They offered 6 laser hair removal sessions(medium area) for a total of $199.99, and at the time Groupon had a promo code so I ended up paying $159.99 in total(deal!!!). I searched them on yelp and and there were no reviews, since being a newly located salon I could understand this. I decided to still give them a try! I called and made an appointment and mention the Groupon voucher and the receptionist was super nice and polite and made it easy! She let me know that I would be contacted by their Rn to be cleared for my appointment, which I was. I came into the salon 5 or 6 minutes late because I had trouble finding the place, I called again and she helped me haha. I checked in and waited maybe ten minutes in the lobby before my name was called into the room where I met Kim. Kim was very thorough and explained the process to the tea and made it very easy for me understand. She made sure I was comfortable and that everything went smoothly. I was scheduled for a session today including my full face and front of neck. I have been a SEV customer for almost 2 years. Within the last year I have been coming in every 2-3 months for facial laser hair removal. My last appointment though left things not in a great place. One nurse did the fastest pass on my face I have every experienced. And low and behold, 3 weeks later, I had patchy growth all over my face, whereas prior to this, the other nurses were meticulous and I could go at least 2 months between appointments. So I had an appointment scheduled for today 5/20. Because of the awful scheduling practices from early on, I have now resorted to having an appointment scheduled every month and cancel if not needed, per your scheduler's recommendations. Got the same nurse again today. She started rambling off the usual questions. And she asked "do you use any salicylic acid" and I said yes. To which she responded I can't do your laser today. Look, I am a working mom of 2 young kids and I answered the question I was asked. Then I paused in my head after she declined me services and said no actually here's my face cleanser and showed her the list of ingredients. I said that my back cleanser does have salicylic acid in it. She said I already spoke to my manager and you can't have services done on your face because you said yes (to the unspecific question), to which I attempted to clarify again but then she said you have to talk to the manager she's out front and I won't treat your face today. She then told me I would have to wait 2 weeks after using any salicylic product on my face before having laser. I again tried to tell her I've been coming here for over a year and this has never been an issue because I use a green tea cleanser, the salicylic acid is for my back. I leave the appointment not having my face lasered, knowing the only reason I had to have my face lasered so soon is because of the shoddy job done last month. Then I go to the front desk. I ask one of the front desk women if she is the manager and she says no our manager is not here today. Then the woman sitting next to her jumps in and says I'm the manager. I explain the situation to her and then after much explaining again, she says well I can get you in later today. I explained that I have children. Her response was to bring them with me and leave them in the lobby. To which I responded I will not leave a 3 year old unattended to in the lobby. This is so odd that they were unwilling to treat my face because of a non issue but they are willing to take on the liability of me leaving an unattended 3 year old in the lobby with strangers? She then tells me that everything else is booked for today and that they could get me in again tomorrow and give me 30% off. It's not even about the 30% at this point, it's about the lack of respect and waste of my time. I showed up early for my appointment, did the paperwork, and misspoke on something and then was denied treatment and then later told I could have treatment? The customer service experience here has been so unsatisfying, I don't even really want to come back but you can't exactly just quit laser treatment. Not to mention, the "manager" said that even if I had used salicylic acid, the wait time would have been 3 days not 2 weeks. She said The nurse in the room misspoke and she will give her that feedback. So Lauren misspoke and yet my inaccurate response to her question resulted in me having to make 2 trips to laser in the course of 24 hours. I do not appreciate my time being wasted and my integrity of my response being called into question. I understand everyone's trying to get by and function in a super confusing world, and yet this is not how to treat people. I hope as a business you can find a better way to respond to your customers. I have felt so jerked around by this business on so many occasions because of scheduling to today. Yes, you may have some of the best laser machines, and yet that doesn't compensate for poor customer service. Update: I spoke to Ariel and she was great and very understanding. She apologized for what happened today. The service I had today was so much better! This RN I had today was way more meticulous about her work and adjusting settings and took the time to ensure she got the spots that were needed. This review is not towards the laser treatment service but the customer service rep Stephanie. I called today to buy three packages in one medium area and two large areas. I was told that the earliest appt is Feb. 2021 and when I asked if I can pay upfront first before my appt (in case there is a price increase in 2021), the rep responded in a cold tone that "no we can't, we just don't do business like this. You have to pay on your first visit." And when I asked what happens if the price increases next year, she then replied with a rush tone that I just have to pay the increased price. The funny thing is she asked for my credit card info but told me they can't charge me until 2021. Through out the whole call she sounded cold, rush, and leaving the impressions that she doesn't care about my business and there are other more important things for her to do. No one deserves to be treated in this way and I just hope that my actual appt experience won't be this bad. Will keep everyone posted (made 3 appts in 2021). read more
