I don't typically like to leave negative reviews, as I usually focus on the positive and try to avoid negative interactions or experiences if I can help it. However, I felt the need to share this because it was unsafe and extremely stressful for me, and I don't want others to have the same experience. From the very beginning, when I first tried to set up an appointment, it took a couple of weeks from my initial phone call to actually schedule the first session. During that time, there were multiple conversations with Becky that did not result in an appointment being booked. I repeatedly shared my availability and other details, such as whether I wanted numbing cream, but when we would reconnect it often seemed like the information had not been retained, making the process disorganized and time-consuming. Becky also texted me using her personal phone which added to the lack of professionalism and made communication feel scattered. These early red flags made me consider canceling and requesting a full Groupon refund, but I decided to give them a chance. After my first session, I developed an infection. I waited 10 days to allow my body to heal naturally while cleaning the area diligently and following proper aftercare. When it did not improve, I went to urgent care, where a doctor confirmed it was infected. I had to pay for both topical and oral antibiotics in addition to the cost of the service. Based on my careful aftercare and the lack of healing, it was clear this was not due to my own negligence. I have had prior laser tattoo removal experience with another business and did not have this type of reaction, which made this outcome especially concerning. I attempted to email the owner to inform them, but the email address bounced back, adding to the ongoing communication difficulties. I bought a three session spider vein removal at Goldnglo from Groupon for my wife. I informed Becky from the beginning that my wife would only be able to go on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. After days of trying to fit my wife to their schedule, they finally booked her but had complications redeeming the Groupon voucher on her first visit. They offered a complimentary fourth session for the inconvenience of the complication. After the first session, it was difficult to get her scheduled for the second treatment/appointment. It was rare to get a same day response from anyone there. So many excuses were given as to why she couldn't be scheduled for her second appointment. It took weeks to get her scheduled. After her second appointment, I couldn't schedule my wife for her third appointment. Again, I kept getting excuse after excuse and was not able to book another appointment. Becky asked if I could bring my wife on a last minute Tuesday appointment. I told her no, she is only able to go on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Becky then asked if I could bring her on a Wednesday and I repeated myself no, only Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. At this point it was clear that Becky did not pay attention to detail and did not care about her customers, at least not us. I had enough of Becky's excuses, superficialness, and unprofessionalism. We will not be returning to this place. They can keep the paid last session. After reading the bad reviews of the place, I can see the resemblance in bad treatment. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. The only nice thing I can say about this place is staff that treated my wife were nice and patient with her. read more

I have wrestled with myself since December 2024 (now August 2025) about whether I should write this review or not, but I'm so bothered that I need to write this review for my own peace of mind. I went here for tattoo removal. I don't know about their other services, but this review is for tattoo removal. First, I must mention that after pre-paying for the service, I was asked for more money, and I still don't understand why the service wasn't just marketed at the price they wanted. However, I paid the extra because I just want my tattoo gone but I now realize that was a mistake. The first session was amazing. The owner was beyond hospitable and the nurse was nice and appeared to know what she was doing. I went back for my second session and left bleeding. Bleeding is not normal, nor did I realize I was bleeding until my better half came home and asked why I was in pain, which prompted me to take the bandages off to show him the results. It is now August 2025 and I'm still healing. Tutns out that I received 3rd degree burns that have now left extremely terrible scarring. I don't even know when, if ever, I'll be able to have another removal session because my skin was so damaged. When I brought it to the establishments attention, I was told to come in for a consultation, which turned out to be one of the most uncomfortable experiences in my life. When they came to look, they didn't even take me to a room. The nurse (not the same one who did the damage) checked me in the lobby! I also noticed that when the nurse came out to assess my tattoo another girl came out from the back and sat in the lobby watching (or pretending not to watch), which was even more disturbing, and the girl watching didn't leave until the nurse gave her a sign that it was okay to go. I didn't say anything at the time because I was so struck by how everything was happening. I don't know if this is something that happens often enough that they felt the need for body guards or backup, but it was very weird. I don't present myself in a way that would make someone think they need a body guard, nor do I have a spirit inclined towards ratchet activities such as causing scenes, being loud, or fighting. That was totally unnecessary. I was also informed that the guy who left right before me experienced the same thing; after months his tattoo was still healing, so maybe he was acting a little crazy, I don't know, but that was disgusting behavior. The establishment still owes me one session, but I don't even want it. Now I'm out of the cost for the service (which they didn't even try to rectify), and I'm now left with horrible burn scars on my chest that may never go away and a slightly faded tattoo. Looking in the mirror is traumatizing. Summer dresses are now a "no." My dreams of feeling beautiful again are a "no." My boyfriend said I should seek legal counsel to at least get my money back, but I'm unsure if I want to pursue that. I don't know what their other services are like, but DONT GO HERE FOR TATTOO REMOVAL. They only got two stars because I'll give them credit for being nice in the beginning. I went here for my appointment after scheduling and rescheduling about four or five times. I show up and they said they needed my voucher. They seemed super annoyed that I didn't have it immediately ready. I apologized politely, no comment. I clicked on redeem now on the email that I had after purchasing it. Nothing showed up. I tried and tried again and again and they just said sorry, nothing we can do. She did offer to honor the price and have me pay twice. Wow, thanks. Didn't make any effort to make this right or try at all. I was obviously unhappy cause I purchased the service already and because of some technical glitch they wouldn't do anything and made zero attempt to. Very bad customer service and I won't be returning. I'll hopefully get my refund since they refused to help me. If they don't like Groupon, not sure why they partner with or use it.
