I went there for their ticket event called Magical three courses of small bites and cocktails. It is more of Harry Potter Theme. It was truly amazing experience! The spot was perfect size and it was easy to park. Their drinks aka cocktail are amazing. It make me want to come back for their regular service. Because I love their old fashioned.

Great drinks and service! Definitely will be back again, thanks for hosting our book club, Prova!

Heard about this place from a news outlet and Facebook posts. I learned on Thursdays it's First Responders and Healthcare workers day were some drinks are discounted. They always post events, food trucks etc. on Facebook. With this Thursday special, my friend and I went here on a whim. This is located at what used to be the Old 502 Winery taproom. We were actually impressed with the ambiance of the place. It's also 21 and up only which is a plus. I ordered a Killing of KY Moon and my friend got one of their wines. I forget the name of it. This drink in my opinion was pretty potent. My friend loved the wine. Although we miss Old 502 Winery, we loved the experience. We also got a little bit of background on the place and along with a few other people got to sample some of their spirits. Will definitely be back.

I will start off by saying that since Prova is new, my hope is that they are just "young" and things will be better. I was very excited to visit when I was in town, as I love all things Italian and supporting locally owned businesses. However, the visit sadly left much to be desired. When we walked in, there were a handful of people sitting at the bar and a couple of people at the outdoor patio area. We were unsure of where to go, so we sat at a table close to the bar and looked at the menus. There were two bartenders and neither looked in our direction or acknowledged there was anyone in the establishment, besides those at the bar. We waited almost 10 minutes and then decided we would try sitting at the bar since those people were getting drinks. As we sat down, we saw there was a mat in the middle of the bar that said "Order Here." Our first drink was made by a female bartender who seemed to rely more on the "theatrics" of the drink making process rather than engage customers. I ordered the Limoncello Spritz after confirming the limoncello was house made. Sadly it was incredibly lacking and the prosecco seemed to take over the drink as it was not enjoyable and the lemon flavor didn't come through at all. My boyfriend ordered the Paper Tiger which had a cute presentation but the flavors didn't seem to compliment each other but were just "there." I wanted to have a chance to try their signature "Killing Moon of Kentucky" and ended with that drink. This time, the gentleman bartender made my drink. He was very pleasant and you could tell he truly enjoys what he does and is talented. The beginning of the drink was unique but as you continued to drink it, the liquid turned more to a flavorless slush; not what I was expecting or wanting. The other disappointment was all of their wine is from California; not one Italian. The saving part of our experience, humorously enough, was the ladies restroom. Thought was put into the restroom décor and they made sure "shark week" needs were met. As a new business, it would be an expectation to greet anyone who visits your establishment, tell them a bit about the location and be engaging. When we're in the area next, we might try again, but we'll give them time to work on their customer engagement and to finesse their cocktail-making.

Met some girlfriends here for their Grand opening and was highly impressed! The drinks are so unique and delicious! Each bartender takes the time to pour you a well crafted cocktail. I really enjoyed the space, from the beautiful artwork to the restrooms. This is the perfect place to come with your girlfriends or a cute date night in the city. Highly recommend the Aperitivo Rosso Spiritz, it was great! I also had the limoncello Spiritz(not pictured) They do not offer food but there are usually food trucks parked outside, if you get hungry!

I've been a few times now and it's always very chill and relaxing, and I love the music selection. When you walk in the plant shop is in the front and the bar is in the back. I recommend heading to the bar, grabbing a delicious hand crafted cocktail and relaxing for a bit. However if you're super eager to shop grab a cocktail to enjoy while you walk around the store. I've only ever had the Carajillo bc it's so damn good. It's light, refreshing and delicious. It consists of dark matter cold brew, Licor 43, Paranubes Cafe de Olla, Alma Tepec pasilla chile liqueur, hazelnut, cinnamont. They have the best mezcal by the bottle selection which I believe you can purchase some online. While sitting at the bar, I noticed all the bottles neatly displayed on the shelf behind the bar and none of the labels are ones I've ever seen before. In addition to being able to shop for plants, they also offer Plant workshops that you can sign up for online! Some of the workshops include a price for two people so pay attention to what you're signing up for. And if you happen to get hungry and need a snack, they also offer a few light bar snacks that consists of chips and salsa, spicy oaxacan peanuts, spicy pickled carrots, and Nemi Mexican lime crunchy snack.

Behind the lush greenery and unassuming storefront is Pretty Decent, a mezcal bar that's anything but "pretty decent"--it's ridiculously cool. My only regret is that I didn't get more pictures to share because this place is very cool. But I was enjoying myself too much to be bothered with my phone. The vibe? Immaculately chill. Moody lighting, thoughtful design, and a playlist that makes you want to stay all night. It's the kind of place that feels like a secret you're lucky to be in on. We started with a Paloma recommended by Ethan (bartender and apparently low-key rockstar). It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and an excellent recommendation.. We chatted mezcal, music, and more--Ethan's the kind of bartender who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Got to talk mezcal with the owner, John, who's clearly passionate and seriously knowledgeable. He shared stories about sourcing, traveling, and working directly with producers. Learned more in 10 minutes from him than I have from any spirit tasting I've done. Super generous with his time and samples, which led to me walking out with a bottle of Espadín, an agave spirit, I'm now obsessed with. You don't find places like this often. It's got soul, character, and people who actually care about what they're doing. Come for the plants, stay for the mezcal. Pretty Decent? Nah--Pretty Damn Exceptional.

I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush. My overall memory of the visit is still about the over-long wait/being ignored for such a long time after entering.
