I asked for a manicure. The Service was rushed. No bottom coat cuticle trim only after a quick soak speed through from an electric file to applying color. No hand rinse. Which left texture on the polish. quick 10 sec. massage on the arms only after the polish was applied No cuticle oil at the end. And I was left at the dryer with no follow up I had to get someone's attention to pay. There was no hospitality. I have been going to this establishment since it opened. And even after it was sold, the new owners are amazing and present. I have seldom had a poor service, and if I did - I let them know and they do what they need to to make it right. And honestly, I don't see those artists last long. My pedicures have always been great, and my manicure with dip as well. Every once and awhile I like to get nail art and they do an incredible job. Again, since they opened over 4 years ago I haven't had anything but nice service. It was okay but I would not go back. For shellac it was $18 more but their website says $15. Two different ladies asked me if I wanted a drink, I said a water to each one and neither of them brought me one lol I got French tip pedi, some lines looked kinda crooked. The tech spent more time massaging the scrub and lotion on my legs instead of focusing on working and scrubbing my feet. It's a nice place but I'll stick with Nice Nails on Marbach. This was the best manicure I've ever had. They did everything they do in a pedicure, but on my hands. Usually they do just the cuticles & lotion after. No they did the cuticles, the soak, the milk scrub with legit real honey (amazing!!). Then they did the oil lotion, hot stone massage & towels and then the final lotion at the end. Nail Tech acted aggravated to service me tried to pass me to another tech. Showed picture of what I wanted to receptionist and was told it was no problem. Constantly had to ask to fix messy work and clean up. The shape nor design are what I asked for. A checkout was charged $100 for a full set that would've easily cost $60 anywhere else. Never has French been an additional $30 charge ever. I had to ask for an itemized receipt to understand the charges. First and last time visiting. I wrote a review on FB and the employee began harassing me to post pics and come back to take nails off I'd rather take them off at home. The overall finish of my nails is fine but the service was horribly rushed. I was in and out in less that than 20 minutes. O got dip and it was applied well but there was nothing else done. No, they need more nail techs to meet the demand that they are already experiencing in the short time they've been open. Therefore if you want to visit this salon, do yourself and them a favor and make an appointment. It'll save you the hassle and disappointment of not being able to be seen. It'll give them a heads up on who is coming. I made a same day appointment today and will continue to do so in the future. On each occasion, I've had good quality service. After one of the techs messed up my nails on a previous visit she remembered me, and made sure I had one of the best nail techs to do my nails this time for Free. They asked me why I had such long nails if I work with children and I told them how I could because the children are not babies and my work allows me to. I was there for maybe a total of 30 mins, this could either be good or bad depending on your time. Maybe because I'm coming from Europe, but I've always had high standards when it comes to nails, not just nails done but also (quality, the long lasting, resistance, nice shape, resonable thin yet strong, and ability to paint any nail art, etc) When I moved 2 years ago to San Antonio, I would go every month (when I need a refill) to another nail salon. I think I know all nail salons in this town by now all until I met Don at this place. I'll be honest I didn't do my nails to anyone else in this place but I've seen really pretty nails done by other technicians. I have to drive 30 mins to get to this place, and yet I do it every month because it's totally WORTH IT!!! During quarantine time I had to stay two months with the same nails, I had to shorten it a bit but they totally RESISTED, no nail fail, no fungus under nails, no breaking nails (I've had all these experiences in other salons, but not here) So as long as this place will be open, I'll be glad to be a loyal customer and forever happy with my FANCY nails . Well I been going here for the past 6 Months, I only go to jay. He great at everything, very gentle with taking off the nails. My nails sets hardly ever break, nor do my jems ever come off. He does them pretty well I love it. But there pricey alright but if all nails set start off at 55 if there short to medium but it there longer than a sport tips then they start around 60 and add whatever designs or products you want. If you do a custom set like almost every nail is different then starts 90 add anything more. If you go a lot you'll earn rewards which really helps me out take money off your price. I love long nails and expect my set to be close to 90$ or higher but hey your paying for good quantity they last me 2-3 weeks. This is pretty great place in my opinion I have been to over 20 different salon and shops for nails and toes, they have been best quality. I haven't had a problem with them. read more
