The biscuits are a little bland. But that said, this is the BEST breakfast place in the 7 mile radius of Keller! And since biscuit love is not a thing with me, the rest of the menu is chock-full of gastronomic and caloric pleasure. My top three: 3. Big bowl o' grits and stuff; 2. Chicken and waffles; 1. JO'S Breakfast Tacos!! Hands down, the BEST breakfast in town! Especially with their homemade green and red sauces. Love this breakfast/brunch spot in Keller! We've been wanting to try it for a while and finally did one weekend while we had some family in town. We were seated right away thanks to using Yelp to jump in line on the wait list (DEFINITELY do this if you're planning on hitting this place anytime around brunch on the weekends). The place itself is super cute. There's outdoor seating, which would be nice during more mild weather. The patio was laid out really well, plus, we noticed a large outdoor chess set, which looked fun! We ate inside, which was equally ambient and perfect for a fun brunch with family. I ordered the Capitola, which overall was pretty decent. I only wish I had opted for a different side over the sourdough toast, which was a bit lackluster if I'm being honest. Loved the hash browns and scramble itself: it checked every box for me! A big standout for me was the coffee! It was seriously delicious and definitely not your typical "brunch spot" coffee. The breakfast options are plentiful and pretty much everything is available with a vegan counterpart including pancakes, french toast, eggs, and sausage. We love going to seven mile on the weekends for brunch and everything we have tried has always been delicious! Their coffee is fantastic and my husband said they have the best spicy Bloody Mary. I normally get the huevos rancheros and my hubby gets the biscuit sandwich which are both excellent! Today I got the papas rancheros and he got the Texan scramble and both were delicious! Food is great but when we went today they literally flipped our French toast onto the table and had to remake it. We were very kind and understanding about it but no one came back to the table until the replacement food was nearly done, as they had still served a pancake I was waiting without any syrup. When the bill came we noticed they didn't even offer a discount or anything even though we waited at least 5 minutes for a fresh meal and for someone to follow up after it happened. It was nice they fixed it but a really fix would've been a discount or something to compensate for the additional time we sat waiting. Great place but we won't be back for a while. read more

I've heard great things about this place so we decided to try it for our sons birthday brunch. We arrived just as they were starting the waitlist so we had to wait 20 minutes even though it said zero wait. Our server was pretty good, very friendly and accommodating. The food arrived sporadically over a ten minute period. My husband and two sons had to wait for their food about ten minutes after we got ours. My food was cold. I ordered the scramble with biscuit all cold. I think it would've been better if it would've been hot. I tasted the French toast and it was amazingly good. Seven Mile Cafe has been on my list of places to try for a very long time. I have been unwilling to try it because their wait times can be an hour, maybe even over an hour and a half! I live that Yelp gives you an idea of wait times! When I looked this morning, it was still before their breakfast rush, AND I was able to get in line from the Yelp app! We arrived at the assigned time and were probably seated in a little over 5 minutes. Online checking is definitely the way to go! Our server was Mayly, who was very attentive and available throughout our brunch. She automatically brought water when she came to greet us. My fiancé loves orange juice, and when he ordered it we found that they have both fresh squeezed and "regular". The fresh squeezed is $2.50 more, but it tasted great. No pulp, of that matters to you. There were a couple of things in the menu that really stood out to me. They have SEVEN types of benedicts. That is a lot, but what I loved is that they had an option to choose 2 if you couldn't decide. I haven't seen another restaurant do that, but I loved it and took them up on it. I had the original and the avocado. The eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was served on the side. Both were wonderful, but next time I would just get the avocado. The avocado was perfectly ripened and so creamy! The meal comes with has browns, for which I subbed out their Gouda grits - turns out I couldn't have gone with either decision! I loved not only the flavor of the grits, but also the consistency. They weren't soupy like some places. I tried my fiancés hash browns, and while they looked like any other hash browns, they tasted so much better. I have no idea how they were different, but they were. The food was awesome and it arrived so quickly! Another thing I thought was cool was the smooth upsell. We ordered our food and immediately after she read it back, she asked if maybe we'd like a pancake to share. We said no, but then I looked at the menu again and was like, dang! I might order a pancake next time. I like that you can order a pancake "solo" or as a stack. They also have a pancake trilogy, where you can order 3 flavors. I have seen that at only one place before and love the options! This was not something I needed, but they seemed to have many vegetarian, some vegan and some "gluten sensitive" options. Our section was made up of 6 tops and 2 tops. You don't often see 6 tops, but they definitely kept them full! The restrooms were a bit outdated but appeared to be very clean. There was a checklist showing that someone checked the restrooms every 2 hours. This place will remain in our rotation, especially since I can get in line via the Yelp app! read more

Went for breakfast yesterday morning with my husband, used to be our favorite place to go. Sadly, I can say with certainty that it is no longer our favorite breakfast place. They were not busy, we arrived about 8am, although they did get busier by the time we left. My breakfast plate came out lukewarm at best. Hugely disappointing!!! Lukewarm eggs and hash browns just aren't that good. As Judge Judy would say, I ate the steak, so it's my own fault. I was was so hungry, I just ate my food, complained to my husband and we left. Eggs and potatoes should be hot when they come out, not lukewarm. I won't be asking to go back again. We will be looking for a new favorite place. read more

I've eaten at other Seven Mile locations in the past and had generally acceptable experiences. This was my first visit, and will be my last, to this location. On 6/7/24, I was served real eggs and cheese instead of the egg and dairy-free vegan dish I had ordered (Vigas). The dish itself clearly had non-dairy/vegan cheese sprinkled on top. After eating several bites, I noticed that the consistency didn't seem quite right. I asked the server to confirm that my food was actually the vegan version (made with just egg and dairy-free cheese). The assistant manager came to the table and insisted that my food was vegan, in spite of my insistence and showing her that it didn't seem right. I sent the dish back because I knew better. Long story short, I became violently ill the next day from the meal. Be very cautious when dining at this place, especially if you have food allergies/sensitivities! read more
