This used to be my absolute favorite place to go on weekends. Now you walk in on a weekend and there's a million teenage girls playing hostess, who act like they are doing you a favor to say hi and take you to a table. On top of that, the last three times I went, it took a solid 10minutes just to get a cup of coffee, my food was never cooked properly, and at least one person at our table was always waiting for their food to show up long after everyone else's had been served at different times as well. It feels like someone in charge has a huge heart for his/her employees which is obviously a great thing, but the quality of food and service has really suffered. One of my all-time favorite cafes in the Keller/NFW area! Their coffee and espresso drinks are on point with so many non-dairy options. All menu items are made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. I've experimented with many of their menu items and everything has been delicious! I just love how accommodating they are to those on restricted diets -- truly anyone can eat here and love what they get. My favorites so far are the Seven Mile latte, Belgian waffles, migas, smoked Gouda grits, and hippie salad. You can't go wrong! read more

I can never forget my first amazing breakfast here. The wait was a little long but the wait was worth it. The staff was very kind and cared about you and your order and made sure everything was right. They really insure that your food is perfect and they really do stand by the saying that the customer is always right. The pancakes and waffles are pretty large but trust me they are so good you end up eating the entire thing. We have been here multiple times because we love the food. However, the past three visits are less than acceptable. The service starts okay but takes forever. Food has been forgotten multiple visits. Our first visit to this place was very good and because of that we thought to tried it again but it was exactly opposite this time, very poor hygiene (plates and silverware not cleaned, whole time we were trying to cover our food from flies) and very average quality of food. Can't believe within a month or two quality of food and service degraded that much. They took drinks order after 20 mins and same kind of delay going further, I can understand they were busy but after waiting for such a long time customer should receive quality food but they failed on that front as well. I've been here three times. 2 were well before COVID and I have a ton of respect for all those working through these odd times. That being said, the food is really good but there just seems to be something wrong with the service side. I totally understand being swamped and food taking a while. As long as I've got something to drink at least I'm perfectly fine with conversation with the people I came with. But they seem to struggle with even that. The example I can give was my last visit. We ordered 2 coffees (a mocha and some other for my wife). Our food took about 20-25 minutes to come which was fine. But, the coffees never showed up. They said their baristas were behind. Stuff happens but that was one example of 3 visits with similar experiences. I truly hope they can fix that type of thing because their food and the location truly is wonderful. As are the people working there. Just seems like more of a workflow issue. read more

Been here a few times for brunch, always good food but can be a bit pricey. My daughter had the best OJ we've ever tasted, both had coffee and two breakfast meals, after tax and tip it was $50. A chunk of change for breakfast. Good food though! Always a wait when we go. read more

Heard this place can get packed during the weekends so I purposefully checked it out on a Tuesday morning and the place was humming with activity but not crazy. I was seated right away and I'm glad the hostess led me to a table by the window so I can enjoy watching outside while sipping my coffee. Most places will find the smallest place they can seat a lone diner, but not here so I was quite happy with that. I ordered the chicken and waffle and their latte and the wait was not too long. The latte was really good, the chicken had a bit of a spicy kick to it but what I really loved was the waffle! To me, it was the perfect balance of crisp and fluff and just the right hint of sweetness to it. I don't think I'll ever want to try another waffle anywhere else; it was that good! The price was a little on the high side but I like to think of it as a special treat every once in a while. I will be coming back next time with family. read more
