We have come here so many times and love the food on a normal basis, today was very disappointing, the hash browns were mushy, bacon was so under cooked my husband nor I could eat it. My favorite thing is the biscuits and gravy and today the biscuits were so dense they were hard to swallow and the gravy was very bland today. Probably our favorite breakfast spot ever, except it's a pretty good drive away. Sooo glad we did it though!! We checked in online. We ordered a mimosa. Definitely do a carafe. Much better deal. I did the Benny Sampler and the Cali Avocado was amazing! The Southern Benny is pretty much what I expected, but in fairness, I had to get it to go and eat it later. I was sooo full! Next time I'll try to do the pancake sampler, but the Benedict's were so good it'll be tough. My husband got a traditional breakfast platter. Boring . But good. Bacon is yummy!!! The coffee is delicious, the breakfast bowls are amazing, and the vegetarian, vegan and omnivore options are great when you have a group with varied diets. When other people mentioned it they say the same: good but waiting time is too long. Maybe over time is less crowded and less wait. I'm assuming they do this to make it easier on the cooks, but it's scrambled eggs, it's not that hard to make a change. We ate breakfast here and overall the food was good. Our waitress was very nice and personable which was a plus. We all created our own egg scrambles with the only problem being the onions and bell pepper in my scramble were not sautéed well done like I had requested. I had to send my scramble back twice before it was cooked correctly. It was yummy when they finally got it right! They allowed us to customize our sides for dietary restrictions. The hashed browns were delicious and the sourdough toast was good. Blackberry jam would have made the toast better! ;-) My iced tea was strong just like I like it. I will return! read more

This place was recommended by my Gluten free in Fort Worth group on Facebook. I had been wanting to try it ever since people went on and on about their delicious pancakes and how there are actually choices of flavors for the gluten free! You have no idea how amazing this is. I wanted to cry! So the hubs and I made the 25 minute trek this morning since the kids were both at camp and found this little gem. Our waitress was freaking amazing! I think the ticket said her name was Kourtney, but she goes by Ney. Anyway, I was sort of at a loss because there were soooooo many choices and I am just not used to that. She recommended the special blackberries and creme latte with oat milk since she is dairy free like I am and the Berry Dream pancake. I also got a side of the chicken apple sausage. Hubs got the crab cake benny. His looked awesome and he couldn't finish it! Mine was seriously like the food of the gods. Perfection. I was so stuffed! The kids would keep getting it here too. A little pricier than we're used to, but you can tell they use high quality ingredients and generous portions, so completely fair in my opinion. The only complaints: it was a bit noisy and hard to carry on a conversation (but may make me brave enough to take my crazy kiddos ) & I wish they were closer to me in Hurst What a special treat though! It's "Ok". Highly overrated. There staple of Hash Browns; freshly peeled potatoes (yum!) yet skittle cooked for a few minutes on each side. More like Mashed Hash Potatoes. Ordered mine "more brown" and they came back deep fried. Service is always good, yet heart goes out due to small dinning space, undersized kitchen, overworked wait staff. So I haven't tried the delicious looking brunch options but I was nearby during my lunch break order the Original Açaí bowl and had a Nutella mocha, both were amazing! I went back the next day for the same order and it was just as good. I def recommend checking it out.. Sunday afternoon seemed a lot more busier than Saturday.
