$10 lunch. Half off Chicken Salad Croissant + cup of GRANDMA's Chicken Soup

With weekday specials, working WiFi, clean tables and chairs, and a staff who brings you water... I will be here more often when in the area. Plus, the rewards program now rewards you sooner ($50 = 50 points = $5 off next purchase. 5 meals. 10% savings.) GRANDMA's CHICKEN SOUP was hearty with firm noodles. Good soup base. CHICKEN SALAD CROISSANT was a tad sweet, but it balances out with spicy crunchy thick PEPPER CRINKLE FRIES.

The food court is nice with lots of options, prices are pretty good as well. The salad i had was ok nothing that I have to have again but it was good. The lettuce seems a bit old and they tried to overshadow it with the dressing. My complaint was more about the upkeep of Macy's. You walk in and all the details are on xmas and decor. You travel from floor to floor and everything is infused with holiday. I was there for a walk through of the culinary studio where I am having an event. Well the upkeep on the 7th floor is HORRIBLE. First the women bathroom. You have go to be kidding me. Its disgusting. The stalls are old and dirty, the ceiling is literally failing apart and open. YOU CAN SEE THE PIPES AND EVERYTHING IN THE CEILING. It needs some serious TLC and updates. Come on Macy's you have to do better. All the effort and money put into the holiday decor should be shared on the restrooms. Has no one complained about this?? I am not a huge Macy's fan don't typically shop there but I expected more. We look at the Narcisse room and for what they are charging people to rent this they should be a shame. The paint is off on the walls and ceiling. Its old and needs updating. Do better!

Very nice and simple food court. It isn't a food court like in a mall, but more in the sense of cafeteria where they have a salad section, soup, burger, noodles, and so on. All food is made to order (well almost) and while basic, prices are bad and the options are good. Got a Barbecue Bacon Burger with chips (on the sandwich, is how it is served) and some seasoned fries. The fries were a bit cold, but the seasoning was nice and if the fries had been a little warmer, would have been perfect. Burger was decent, good size for the price, and bun was nothing to write home about. Also, they give you two straps of regular bacon, so if you are big bacon person, not a lot for the size of the burger. The drink is a bit pricey too. A little over two dollars for a 12.-14 Oz on fill drink. Not bad, but not great. Service was okay an what you would expect from a place like it. As stated, meal was fine. Could have been better, but could have been worse.

Located on the 7th floor of Macy's is the Seven on State food court. I venture over here for lunch from time to time. Multiple options, convenient location (can be accessed via the pedway), and overall decent lunch spot. I primarily eat at Marc burger or Frontera Fresco, although I've been to the salad counter for a really good Chicken panzanella salad. Marc Burger - Burgers, fried chicken sandwich, grilled fish sandwich, and black bean burger are all good. I especially enjoy the garlic and cracked pepper fries which comes with every sandwich. The fish sandwich is marinated in a soy based marinade and extremely flavorful. The fish was flaky and light. The fried chicken sandwich is huge and served with a curry mayo. The black bean burger is seasoned well and not too soggy. I particularly like the caramelized onions that are served on top of the black bean burger. Frontera - The last time I ordered the shrimp torta and a side of guacamole and chips. The torta is fantastic and comes with garlic shrimp, goat cheese, black beans, argula and lime on a chewy bun. The chipotle chicken torta - Poblano rajas, goat cheese, smoky garlic mojo, black beans, wild arugula, lime is equally delicious, but a bit spicy for my liking. Their quesadillas and huaraches (served with a small side salad) are decent, but not my favorite. The huarahces are sorta like a flatbread but made of masa and heavier. A Frontera lunch with a side of guacamole and chips can run near $18, but you won't leave disappointed. *Update* I tried the Cuban torta and was not a fan. The sliced pork was dry and fatty. The bacon was not crisp, rather rubbery and room temperature. Other than the fresh sliced avocado I did not eat much of the torta. Disappointing.

A couple of my coworkers love to go to Macy's food court, Seven on State, for lunch. This is a high-end food court with offerrings from Takashi Yagihashi, Marcus Samuelsson, and Rick Bayless. My coworkers particularly like Chef Yagihashi's spot, Noodles by Takashi. There's another part of this food court where they just serve soups and sandwiches and salads. Usually I got to the salad spot. They do a pretty good job with interestingness and fresh ingredients. I wish the line for Frontera Fresco wasn't so long. I'd hit that every time! Ah well. I try to only go out for lunch one time per week or less. This is a good change of pace now and then.

This is the place to be on a cold winters day

Several different choices, the food isnt that bad but its a little pricey, i would go back but not that often there are so many places to try elsewhere, this is a good place during the winter if you can get there using the pedway so you dont have to go outside.

My first time here, and it was such a great experience. Delicious food and a really fun vibe!…read more We walked in around 12:30pm Saturday, and even though the place was pretty packed, we were seated right away! I ordered the Paloma, and my husband got the Michelada, both super refreshing and made well. For food, I ordered the El Gringo with rice and salad. I definitely wish I had swapped the salad for beans, because my husband got both rice and beans, and I ended up finishing my rice and helping with his too lol. Highly recommend this dish, just go for the beans instead of the salad! My husband also ordered three tacos: Al Pastor, Chorizo, and Carne Asada, all of which were really good. One of the fun touches is that they have QR codes at the table to leave a Google review, and if you do, you get to spin a prize wheel. Of course I had to try it, and it made the whole experience even more fun. I ended up winning a free double shot! The staff were all super friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the music gave it a fun, vibrant atmosphere. I'd definitely come back!
