I am picky as heck when it comes to who does my body work. I've been coming to seven senses even from before they were at kahala mall. Prices are comparable for massage rates around the area but if you are looking for cleanliness, convenience, and a good massage, seven senses spa is the place to go. I stick to the same massage therapist who doesn't have a lot of hours that work well with my work schedule so I have to book in advance but if you are willing to try any massage therapist you could probably get a massage almost anytime. The monthly subscription makes the price of the massage less by $10 and is an excuse to get a massage at least once a month. There is also a Waikiki location at the ilikai where I tried their facials. The parking is validated which is great for Waikiki. It is however a little more expensive than the kahala location but they do occasionally have more specials at the Waikiki location...although I haven't seen it for a while. read more

My kids gifted me a Mother's Day massage at this gem where I had one of the best massages in my life thus far and I love getting massages! I had a 90 min with JD, told him where my pain and soreness were and he attended to those areas and got rid of the throbbing aches in one session that 2 months of twice weekly chiropractic adjustments could not! He even found other areas on my body that had issues I was not aware of and it relieved soreness pretty much throughout my body head to toe. I am so grateful to my kids for gifting me this experience to discover this business. It is located near Kahala Mall with plenty of parking available. It was my first time getting this type of massage though I was always curious after reading and hearing a lot about it helping circulation and removal of toxins. I loved it! I booked an appointment with Azure, and my boyfriend booked with Brianna since he was looking for a deep tissue massage with a therapist with an athletic/rehabilitation background. Azure was amazing! I haven't had many massages - and she was great at working with me and adjusting pressure levels. My shoulder was really bothering me beforehand, and I felt so relaxed after. I scheduled an appointment through their link on IG at the Kahala location with Akiko. I am so happy I did because she was so amazing! I think this was by far the best massage I've ever gotten in my life time. I've been to a lot of other massage places but this is yet the best experience ever. I walked in knowing that my back is super tight but never have I had someone loosen up my back and get into those knots as much as Akiko did. Her pressure is perfect and just how I like it. Some places you ask for deep pressure but they only use their strength and it just hurts. But Akiko's deep pressure has strength but also the skills in the hands to make it so it actually hits the right places. Not sure if y'all's will understand what I mean about having that strength within their hands and not just the motion. It's like Taichi but with massage. I always love to come here especially with Masami as my massage therapist! They are clean, respectful and consistent. Masami is amazing with her strong hands and always gives her 200% at my request. I am grateful for her and the other massage therapists whose names escape me for now. After my friend & massage therapist left after 20 years of her amazing care for me and all my health issues, I thought I'd never find anyone else who can provide such amazing care but I'm so happy I did find not one but three all at Seven Senses. So I have been looking for a place that is convenient, good hours and most of all Offers Consistent and Fantastic Massages! This Spa checks all the boxes! Conveniently located on the second floor of the Kahala Mall building #206A. Open 7 days a week starting at 8:30. Closes at 8:30pm weekdays and 6:15 on weekends. My first massage was with Masami who was very good! I enjoyed every minute and the 60 minutes did not go by too fast! I hate it when the hour goes by so fast that it doesn't feel complete. When you read the Yelp reviews, there are so many excellent therapists so then I requested Akiko, the owner. I am so impressed that she has clients and works the front desk! I told Akiko that I wanted her to concentrate on my head, scalp, neck and shoulders because I am very tight there. I am very fortunate not to have back or feet issues but she did a whole body massage anyway! Afterwards, she recommended I try Kina as she masters the areas I wanted! I really appreciated the recommendation and showed me she knows all her therapists strengths! So I just came back from my monthly massage and had the Awesome Kina!!! She started with my head, scalp, neck and shoulders! Exactly what I wanted, needed, LOVED IT! Kina's hands and fingers are so soft, almost "pillowy" if that's even a word!! I asked her what she does to keep them so soft? She massaged areas of my legs, arms, hips and places never been touched! Will be requesting Kina from now on!! My 1st experience going there was really nice, the receptionist was very friendly, kind & helpful. Though I must've had someone who probably had a long day of massages, or maybe she was saving more of her energy for the next guy/client waiting in the room next to me that she was checking up on during my massage. The 1st 30-40 mins, she didn't seem like she was interested & her aura I sensed, wasn't to peaceful & friendly. Nefore we started, I asked what she needed me to do (clothing-wise). She had the attitude as if she didn't really care. She took awhile before she did anything asking questions. Then as she began, I didn't feel too much of anything, she just was very lightly pushing my legs. It wasn't like a real massage & definitely NOT what I would expect out of one. Especially when I've explained pretty much in detail what I really needed from the start when I arrived, as it was my 1st time there. I have been going to shiatsus, acupunctures & massage since my accident 30+ yrs ago), so I'm very familiar for the most part, & I know there's a lot of different techniques out there. Now, coming towards the HOUR is when she began the "actual massage" and said, because my body was so tense that maybe I should think of adding another 30 mins because 1 hour wasn't enough, but it's up to you. When I thought about it, because of my nasty neck & backache that I was currently feeling & suffering from (the reasons I came), I decided to EXTEND 30mins, because why??.. I really don't know, maybe hoping I get a moment of relief from my neck tension, since most of the time she spent was just pushing my legs like she was tired. As soon as I agreed to extend, she went outside to tell the receptionist to add 30mins., and told me she had to let the guy in the next room know if he didn't mind waiting & relax a little while until she's done with me. WTH!!.. she went into full massage mode at the end about 10-15m each side.. go figure, then says, you should come back because you really need the work done since your body is soo tense. My experiences of 30+ years of therapy massages, shiatsus, acupunctures, etc.. due to my past injuries, I do know what I would expect (at the least). Well I gotta say.. I do appreciate those that are passionate about helping & trying their best to take care of those in need, and those who.. well, yeah I won't mention - between the lines. I don't know maybe if they had a long day, tired, personal stuff, etc.. so it's ok. I just hope that my next visit/appt will be with someone I'll be happy with, and knows their skills. I've had Tricia and Azure and both were great and different in their own way but are definitely skilled in their craft. The facilities fill high end, so clean, and a full time assistant in front to register you once you get there. Scheduling appointments online is super easy and having bios for each of their massage with their level of pressure is very helpful and from a pressure standpoint, spot on. I had been getting my massages at Seven Senses Spa last year whenever I was in town. I had the most awesome masseur named Kim. I've had many masseurs in my life and I can confidently say that Kim was the absolute best! I say "was" because unfortunately she left several months ago. Since then, I hadn't returned until today. I was in desperate need of a massage and decided to give Seven Senses Spa another try since I had such a great experience with them in the past. Today I had Masami as my masseur. I booked my appointment online and I chose her because she was the one who was available that fit my schedule. The cost for a 1 hour massage is just $85. What a deal! After my massage, I can say that she was very good as well! She took the time before we started to find out if there were any areas that I wanted to address and she also asked what type of pressure I preferred. After I gave her my preferences, she went to work and did exactly what I had requested. I could tell that she was an experienced masseur because of her technique and consistency. By the time it ended, I was completely relaxed and all the knots in my body had been ironed out! Not only are the masseurs very good and experienced here, but the owner, Akiko, is very friendly and welcomed me back as soon as I walked through the door. The receptionist is also very friendly. I really can't say enough good things about them. They're located near Kahala Mall off of Waialae Ave., in a business center on the 2nd floor. They're close to Longs Drugs at Kahala Mall, if you need a landmark. Plenty of parking is available in the shared lot. If you're in need of a massage in Honolulu, look no further! I love massages. Used to get them often but then the pandemic and things changed. And it has been years so when I decided to go back to them i had to look for a new place,(Hoala in Kamakanaalii closed down a while back). And now I'm also in town. When I looked for massage salons in the area I was surprised to find this one had 5 stars from all reviewers I read. That's pretty incredible. I was asked to arrive 5 minutes before the appointment to fill out paperwork. But when I arrived there on a Saturday, Kahala Mall was packed and I ended up in lines going down aisles looking for people leaving. Needless to say I was late. But when I arrived the receptionist, Sky, was nice about it and said I could fill out the paperwork except for a couple of questions later. Whenever I've been late (which honestly isn't very often) the service providers either want to reschedule or cut the appointment hour short. And I don't blame them, it pushes everything back. So I was expecting the same to happen here but no, I was given the whole hour. Pleasant surprise. All of the staff Akiko (the owner & therapist herself) hires are all highly skilled in their profession. I found Seven Senses Spa when my husband had a work-related injury, and he was referred here by another co-worker of ours. Each masseuse brings great quality work to her spa. We come in about once a week for our weekly massage. Spa is very clean, professional staff and I really love the lighting and ambiance, as it makes you feel even more relaxed before and after session. Been going to Seven Senses Spa for a year-plus now, about twice a month.. and have experienced 5 of their therapists, each and every one excellent. But I have to describe MASAMI and NILE as my favorites, and two of the most excellent ones of ALL, in regards to my body needs and their experienced responses in giving me wonderful care and relaxation. I see on Yelp that a person said negative things about MASAMI, and I have to differ strongly. I cherished and always looked forward to her experienced/firm hands and her calm responsive demeanor. I've been receiving massages for nearly 60 years, now, all over the world, and she definitely knows what she's doing and needs no further training! She has recently departed Seven Senses Spa and I will definitely miss her massages, terribly! But recently on May 8, I was fortunate enough to experience a special treat there from NYLE and his wife CARRIE (sp) in a specially-requested FOUR HANDS MASSAGE, which turned out to be beyond my wildest expectations! Their years of massage experience and practice together gave me the most exquisite one hour of heavenly bliss! I called it "Absolute Heaven..." CARRIE is a massage instructor as well as a practitioner, and she and husband NILE had a kind of "massage choreography" that felt almost like a "dance..." And having 4 experienced hands to massage my aches/tightness was indescribably heaven. I decided to check this place out, after a good friend of mine recommended this place and especially Josh, the massage therapist. Booking on their website is fast and easy. Upon getting to the location, I was a bit surprised. With all the craziness that goes on outside, the environment inside is very calming and clean. Everyone was more than welcoming. I was welcomed by Josh and lead to a nice, clean room. We talked a bit to get to know my needs. He was very attentive to what I want. I must say his hands are like magic! He hit all the right places and worked the problematic spots. He didn't try to make meaningless conversation, which I liked, however did check up on me every so often. It was super quick and easy process of booking the type of massage you want and you can also choose which person you would like to book with. I have been coming to get massages here after I was involved in a car accident. Crystal and James have been very helpful in my recovery. Crystal is very strong, personable and will work on your problem areas. James is also very strong and does a lot of stretching and explains what is going on with the certain muscles. Both are professional, knowledgeable and will help fix the areas of your body that need to RELAX. They are both excellent massage therapists and I would highly recommend them both. I cannot thank them enough for helping my neck and shoulders heal/relax. The location is great because it is at Kahala Mall on the 2nd floor--they are in the 2 story portion of the Kahala Mall Professional Building. It is very convenient for me as there are not many massage practices in Kahala that I know of. There is a lot of parking and the suite is very relaxing.
