Masami is an amazing massage therapist! I have been meaning to write a review for a while! I first had the pleasure of getting a massage by Masami about a few years ago at a different massage company that she was filling in for and I had to follow her! Her hands, are so soft yet strong- She gets the kinks and pains out. Masami checks in to make sure the pressure is ok, which it always is. I come to the spa in some pain (back injury) and she relieves the tension and aches, as well as provide an overall healing to the whole body and soul. I leave feeling relaxed, lighter, uplifted and pain free. The atmosphere of Seven Senses Spa is calming, with the light sounds of guitar being played in the background, the aroma of light oils being diffused and soft lighting. I'm thankful this spa is open 7 days a week and the receptionist responds quickly (via text message or phone). While I am going to this spa with a prescription from my doctor due to an injury, I will continue to see Masami when I no longer have a prescription. Wonderful! We needed deep tissue massages before a long flight. My masseuse (Trish) recognized where I needed the most body work just by observing my walk and posture as I came into their facility! Kim and James are the best! Kim handled my prenatal massage. Peter handled the deep tissue massage for my husband. Kim focused and was very strong on the pressure points while I was laying side ways. I never knew those areas really bothered me. She listened to me in the beginning which areas hurt and tense and she cleared the tension by the end of the session. I was able to walk without any pain again. James explained the muscle that were. He is very strong and was able to relieve all the tension. He is very knowledgeable about the human body. I went here for the first time today and I'm so glad I found this place. I was in so much pain on my left side of the shoulder with limited range of motion. Masami has magic hands! Lol. I came here for a prenatal massage with Crystal and it was just absolutely phenomenal. She was both strong and gentle (most other prenatal massages I have had were very mild and didn't really feel like they were getting to the muscle, but Crystal had the perfect amount of pressure). I wished it would go on forever! The location is great and the spa itself is very relaxing and beautiful. I loved it so much I came back one week later! Cannot recommend enough. I come to Oahu for a few months every year and am always on the look out for a good massage place to ease my aching muscles. I ONLY wish I had discovered this place years ago. It is in a great location (for parking) and the inside is very soothing and relaxed. They have 3 rooms that the therapists work out of. Their online booking system is fabulous to get appointments lined up with the type of massage and therapist you are looking for. Before coming for my first time, I reached out to ask which therapist on their team would suite my needs best and they gave me a couple options. I have had several massages here (as has my husband), and we can highly recommend Seven Senses for their service, atmosphere and team of therapists that each offer various modalities to suite many needs of an individual. My husband is in a wheelchair and before his first visit, one of the ladies took it upon herself to video and send him where the disabled parking was and the access into the building, elevator and into their suite. How thoughtful! We didn't ask for them to do that but ALL the folks there go above and beyond in thinking about your needs and how to make your visit the best it can be. read more

Joel is extremely knowledgable and I learned so much during my Craniosacral Therapy sessions with him. I've gone to see Joel once a month for the past two months and I will continue to do so. In October 2021, I had my first kidney surgery and since then, I've been filling myself with knowledge as well as trying new wellness routines. During my sessions with Joel, I learned for the first time that I hold a lot of tension in my liver. We spent a good amount of the session working that out and for me to understand what that means. I also shared with Joel that I've felt joint pain in my right hip - and even went to physical therapy to build the surrounding muscle. I consider myself a fairly active person, but my hip has given me issues from years. I learned that rather than a singular part of my body (hip joints), this discomfort can stem from tension that I had in my pelvic area. I HAD NO IDEA! Seven Senses Spa is a little slice of Heaven I'm so glad that I happened upon! I had no idea a relaxing, cozy spa was nestled on the second floor of the Kahala Professional building. Akiko, the owner, welcomed me warmly. I felt comfortable and at home. I filled out a short form sharing any maladies I have, what kind of massage pressure I like, and which massage modalities I prefer. I had a 90-minute massage with Nile. He was understanding of my chronic illness that causes tight/sore muscles and was intuitive in his work and accommodating in offering to change pressure if I ever needed. I didn't need to say a thing, it was so healing and therapeutic. I left feeling so much better and relaxed. A rare delight with my chronic muscle pain/tightness. I finally found my go to place! Akiko was so welcoming and friendly. She even fit me in the same day! This the first massage I've had where the massage therapist really listened to my needs and areas of concerns. You can telll she truly takes pride in helping you and making sure you feel relaxed. I got the deep tissue massage and left feeling very relaxed. On a side note, the location is very convenient being right across from the Kahala mall and there is plenty of parking.
