I was tattooed by Jon Laflore last month and had a very positive experience. I filled out a form on the Seventh Sin website and their Shop Coordinator called me that week to discuss my tattoo and schedule a phone consultation with Jon. Jon was a sweetheart and talked me through my design as well as the placement. The day of my appointment, I arrived at the shop and Jon had two options for my design. The stencil took about an hour to place but that was mostly due to the placement of the design which was a mandala on my shoulder. I appreciate that Jon took care of where my design was placed and ensured it was symmetrical on my body. Overall, the tattoo took 3 hours, for the first two hours I listened to music since the tattoo machine sound bothers me but for the last hour I chatted with Jon. He is a great artist and has years of experience. 10/10 would recommend anyone to visit this shop! read more

Forever my go to shop since I've moved to Charlotte. It's very easy to get in touch via their website and set up an appointment, everyone is super professional! Half of the shop is traditional and grunge and the other half is still being worked but still neatly decorated and spacious!! I absolutely love the tattoo that Stephanie was able to make for me. I came to Seventh Sin for my first tattoo to get a matching one with my mom and it was such a smooth and comfortable experience. This place is amazing. The artists are extremely professional, upbeat, and willing to turn a half-cooked idea into a gorgeous reality. I worked with Kyle Patrick, but every artist is incredible in their own right. They all exhibit different strengths, so if you aren't seeking out a piece from someone specific, just ask who would be best suited for your vision. Everyone there is helpful and pleasant. From booking the appointment to walking out of my second sitting, I felt like a king. The place itself looks average from the outside, but inside it has an herbal botanical smell from the organic tattoo salve used that permeates the room. The hard wood floors and decor are tasteful and classy. It is exceptionally clean and organized. The interaction between the staff is nothing short of hilarious. The banter is like something from a sitcom and instead of wincing at the needle, I spent half of my sitting laughing and joking with the guys. They do everything they can to make you comfortable and at ease, which is all very natural to the attitudes of the people themselves. It arises organically and isn't something you can duplicate or synthesize. I've gotten ink in several states and from several shops. I'm not going anywhere else. Best experience I've ever had. I scheduled with Seventh Sin to get work done by the amazing Christina from Electric Browz for permanent makeup for my eyebrows. From the beginning, Christina was proactive in talking with me before our appointment, answering all my questions, wanting pics immediately so she could visualize what artistry tools she needed to give me not only what I wanted but the BEST results possible. Not only was Christina (no joke) EXTREMELY thorough all through the appointment. She is such a sweet and inviting Spirit. I felt comfortable because I was in the hands of a true professional. I've gotten a couple of tattoos done here. It took me forever to find a shop with high quality artist that make amazing tattoos. I follow them on Instagram, and I will admit that everyone here does amazing work. Tivis has been my go to artist anytime I need ink. While what I request isn't his typical style imo he rocked it. I have actually been complemented by another artist who says the black and gray work is amazing. Anyway check them out and you won't regret. While tattoos are no longer permanent you always should want something that will look great on your body, therefore finding someone who does amazing work should be the main priority regardless of cost. read more

Extremely pricey for the simple piece I got, compared to the extremely detailed, amazing work they typically do. As the others have said, I did not mind paying it though, as it is on me for life. My problem with this shop is the follow-up. I was told that my artist would do the touch-ups, if needed, for no additional cost. However, I have reached out twice, and have yet to receive a response. I guess because they got my initial money, and my piece was not intricate like they are used to doing, they most likely do not want to deal with me. I had high hopes that this would be my go-to spot, but due to lack of communication and interest, looks like I will have to find another. read more

No matter the style you are interested in there's an artist there that can give you exactly what you want. I've gone to 10 or more tattoo shops and this one takes the cake in overall rating-talent obviously but also customer service. I stick with Kyle for black and white- he's the man and his portfolio speaks for itself. I'm getting a couple different styles so I'm jumping artists to Will (he is a newer artist to the shop and his work is heavy crazy color thats why). These guys **and girl** are cleaning house with awards when they go to tattoo conventions. Walk in the shop or check out insta the awards are everywhere. I check out all the artists work while I'm getting tattooed and there's no comparison and everyone's really friendly. The owner is the man and is always asking if you need anything.
