I highly recommend Rebecca's, especially for plus size brides. We were greeted by Jesse immediately when we walked in. They gushed over my engagement ring and just made us feel really welcome. Veronica really listened to what I wanted in a dress and what I didn't want. She was amazing! I hate trying on clothes, so wedding dress shopping has been really stressful, but Veronica really put me at ease. We talked and laughed, and while I didn't find my dress this time, I may still return to try again. They had a huge selection of dresses, including dresses in other colors, which is what I was really looking fit. We also found that many of the dresses were in our price range, and Amber helped select dresses in that range, never pushing for us to keep trying something more expensive; therefore, we weren't constantly worrying about prices. I found Rebecca's when looking at bridal shops in Louisville and was impressed by their boldness in advocating for a a dress for every body and their reviews spoke about their plus size selection in a a way that I truly believed. I made my appointment and was so excited. Before I even walked in the door, i felt welcome. I spoke with a gentleman on the phone a few days before my appointment where they just gathered some general information from me. When i walked in, we were greeted with smiles and excitement. Every group s given a private room for trying on dresses so it was a much more intimate experience. We spoke with my consultant, Kaitlyn, and got started. We were able to pull some dresses and she pulled some based on what we had talked about. She asked questions with every dress to narrow down what would be perfect for me. She had me try on things a bit outside of what I had described as wanting and made me feel super comfortable in the try on process. Everything was beautiful and while I was worried that with it being a boutique, I would have limited options, there was plenty of items in our range, that fit on my body, and that made me feel beautiful. As a plus size bride, it was AMAZING to be able to pick dresses off the rack and know they would fit without having to squeeze into. We found a dress that took me entirely by surprise and I left feeling like a million bucks. I recently visited Rebecca's Wedding Boutique with a friend who was shopping for her wedding dress. This location is cute, and the staff were friendly, but compared to a couple other spots this one wasn't my favorite. Not to say it isn't a good place to shop, and my friend actually found her dress here, but for a private room and/or champagne you have to pay extra. Also, you have to pay for your dress up front in full (where other places offer a 50% up front and 50% at the time of receipt), and there's a shipping charge. So, overall, it's more pricey. In addition, though the staff were friendly, I thought they were a bit more pushy than other bridal shops. Every dress was, "Is this the one? Do you want this one?" I know it's their job to ask questions in an attempt to help you find the dress, but I felt like they were asking "so, are you buying this one?" with every dress. In the end, my friend found a dress and she loves it, and that's what's important. If you're shopping in the area, I'd say check out Rebecca's, but maybe don't put it in the top spot on your list. read more

I had a wonderful experience trying on dresses at Rebecca's! When I got engaged, my sister who lives in Louisville made an appointment for me at Rebecca's to begin my search for a wedding dress. Because she made the appointment, I'm not sure how easy it was to book- but it was nice that they have extended store hours on some days which allowed us to all be able to come after work. The girls here were so sweet and beyond helpful! I had no idea of the style or look I was searching for, so Bianca helped me pick out a variety of dresses to try. After I tried on each dress, she would ask me what I liked and what I didn't like about each one, and then would use that feedback to look for different dresses that better matched what I liked. After my appointment, Bianca even gave me a call saying that they got a new dress in the store that she thought I would love. I ended up finding a dress that I loved in Lexington, but would absolutely recommend Rebecca's to any brides-to-be in the area! They have a great selection of dresses in a wide price range. They also have bridesmaids dresses as well. This is pretty standard for bridal shops, but it is hard trying on dresses that are not your size- if you are smaller than the sample dress then it has to be clipped on you, making it hard to imagine what the dress would look like on you when the top is proportionately smaller. read more

Unreal the experience we had here! We recently booked a private room to try on wedding dresses for my little sister (she said yes!) - we got to spend our time with Emma who couldn't have been more perfect. We even got to meet Rebecca and her twin sister, and get to know them for a bit. It was wonderful. The setting of the room was like a dream, everything crisp and white, with glam and fur, and of course touches of sparkle and modern fixtures. There wasn't an inch of the room that had been overlooked and I could literally spend all my afternoons there. Emma found exactly what my sister had envisioned and gave us real, honest, answers. Nothing felt pressured or rushed. She was very sweet and made us feel at home and even like part of the family to be honest. We were able to give feedback and it was received well and translated into the most perfect dress for my sister. I have to include I work third shift on weekends and I don't typically enjoy wedding shopping especially on three hours of sleep -- and I had one of the most relaxing, absolutely amazing days ever with my little sister and mom, and I know they'd say the same. This place is so wonderful. Gorgeous dresses, excellent staff and customer service. They really make sure you're well taken care of. Since COVID times, they make sure to steam every dress after someone tries it on. They even allow take-home-try-ons. I had a great experience at Rebecca's. I was welcomed with my name on a chalk board with the rest of the brides who had an appointment that day - I thought this was a cute little detail. Elese started by sitting me down and asking me about my wedding and what I liked in a dress, and pointed me in the right direction to start pulling some dresses to start with. She warned me if any were out of the price range I had given her before I tried them on. As I tried on dresses we would talk about what I did and didn't like about each one. As a plus sized lady, I was super concerned about locating a wedding dress to fit and look good. My girls all came to town and we went shopping, I was so defeated after the 1st two shops as they just didn't have anything that looked good on my short body type. I booked a Premier Bridal Appointment with Rebecca's to shop for my wedding dress on Saturday. My premier appointment included a charcuterie board and a bottle of champagne. I was able to bring more beverages to my appointment as long as they were clear liquids... so I bought a couple more bottles of champagne for my girls to enjoy. I had gone dress shopping in another city prior to coming here... so I had an idea of what kind of dress I was looking for. Elise assisted me with my dress experience that day. She looked over the information I submitted and was very helpful in pulling dresses for me. I never felt pressured to try anything on that I didn't want to. The sample sizes fit me comfortably when I was trying dresses on. Elise was very professional and easy to work with. About two hours later I officially found my dress and said yes to the dress. The staff at Rebecca's really embrace the "yes to the dress" experience. They are quick to take your photo and share on their instagram page. We were able to take as many photos as a group with the say yes sign provided. I'm excited to come back and pick up my dress when it arrives in April. Rebecca's does not have someone on sight to alter their dresses but she will offer a list of suggestions. I went here on a whim during a work trip. I had planned on shopping the upcoming weekend with my mom. Well I called expecting Rebecca's to not have an available appointment that evening and they did!!! They asked all of the right questions over the phone so that they could pre-select some dresses. When I arrived I was greeted at the door and felt welcomed into the Rebecca's family instantly. I wish I could remember the young ladies name whi helped me, but she was amazing. She had six dresses picked out and explained each one before I started to try anything on. Three were available for me to take with off the rack and three could be ordered in time for my big day. I tried all six on, but the whole time I wanted to go back to the first dress. Once the first dress went back on I knew I had found my dream dress. Since i was alone she helped me take pictures of all of the dresses to look at all angles and send to my mom. However, once i knew it was the dress she was patient as I figured out how to video call my mom. She helped hold the phone and show my mom the dress!.. I can't say enough great things about Rebecca's! I looked at one other bridal shop because before I went to Rebecca's and it was fine but Rebecca's just goes above and beyond. I came in thinking I wanted a specific style but was open to trying on other options. My personal shopping assistant took one look at my ring and found the most perfect dress. FIRST ONE I TRIED ON! Despite my immediate love for it, she helped me in and out of 10 other dresses. I just kept circling back to it though because it was so very perfect. But I was blown away that the employees know their catalogue that well and can be so in tune with a bride! Additionally, communication with the shop was fantastic. They constantly kept me up to date and gave me suggestions for other vendors. Two weeks before my wedding I needed to bring my dress in for a steam and they were closed for training. I messaged them on Instagram a little panicked that there wouldn't be time. Within minutes they gave me the option of dropping it off in the morning before the training. I got another confirmation in the morning that they were excited to see me and get my dress ready. Someone was also ready to meet me at the door. They just have superior service! I stopped by rebeccas as a 1st place to look for wedding dresses. They have gorgeous dresses ranging in prices. They said their average is about 1500. Everything went perfectly except for the fact that the person helping me didn't really end up picking any dresses for me to try on. Which ended up being okay because I loved two of the dresses I picked.. I just didn't feel like one was THE ONE.. Yet ...I went through the store and picked out about 5 just by eyeballing them hanging up. I didn't look at every dress (obviously) because I thought rebeccas would take what I wanted and my budget and suggest the perfect dresses for me since they know the dresses they have. The only reason I am giving them a 4 instead of a 5 is because now I feel like I need to go back in case I glanced over my perfect dress. They put us at ease, especially my daughter Victoria Musselwhite, the bride. I came in here on a busy Saturday morning around 11 without an appointment, with a small budget (under $1000), and only 76 days away from my wedding. My expectations were low considering all that was working against me. However, I left with the most beautiful dress in my hand and having the best time at Rebecca's. I was able to find a dress in their sale loft for 1/4 my budget. They had multiple dresses well under my budget! The customer service was fantastic! Even though they were busy helping clients who had appointments, they made extra time to help me find my perfect dress and answer all of my questions. I originally gave this place 5 stars when I ordered my dress. Then they screwed up my bridal dress order. They ordered the wrong size. I ordered my wedding dress back in September and just tried it on this past Saturday. As the associate was zipping my dress up in the back, I realized it wasn't fitting right. I asked her what size it was. Sure enough---wrong size. I'm happy that my soon to be mother-in-law and sister-in-law were there to run interference and vouch for me that I had indeed ordered a different size. The associate tried to assure me that the dress could be let out (which is BS). My future mother-in-law is a seamstress and pointed out why the dress could not be altered. The owner acted like it was my fault. She said "Since this a relatively popular style, I guess we can just sell it here in the store. You're lucky, because if it wasn't, there would be nothing we could do to help you." -------Really?? Who says that? The owner never once apologized. Thank goodness the Maggie Sottero manufacturer had my size that they could ship this week. It's supposed to ship on Tuesday---we'll see when it arrives and how they act then. I'm so let down. I had a great experience the first time. Apparently after you buy your dress, their customer service flies out the window. One would think that after you drop $1,000 on something, they'd treat you like gold through the rest of the experience. I am maid of honor in my best friend's wedding this coming June. We made a trip to Rebecca's on a Saturday and our appointment was at 2:30. We arrived early and the store was an absolute madhouse. Their dressing rooms are not at all private so there are a lot of people crammed into 1 room upstairs to try on dresses. Luckily, we were in the downstairs dressing rooms which are a little less crowded. Our consultant was very nice and they have a great selection of dresses but it was just loud and very busy. The bride ended up finding her dress here and it was absolutely gorgeous but I will probably make an appointment during the week instead of a Saturday when the time arrives for me! read more
