When adjusting the length of my shirt cuffs, she noticed that I was left-handed due to my watch being on my right hand. As such, she made the diameter of my right cuff a bit larger than the left one so my watch wouldn't bunch up under the sleeve. Gotta love the attention to detail! I used to rarely get things altered since prices can be pretty steep (ie at Mendel's Wife, that place is the worst), and was actually shocked when Lee wrote up my first bill and some hem jobs were only $8. How are there not more reviews for this business? Wherever you're going in Tucson for your tailoring/alteration needs, stop going there and come here instead. The turnaround time has so far been very fast, even when I say I can wait a week. She calls once an item is ready. Even better, I had a pair of pants that another alterations shop didn't do a very permanent job on and she fixed it for me while I was trying on the slacks I originally came in to pick up. I was confused when I came out and saw her folding a pair of pants that she then handed to me... then I realized it was what I had just given her a few minutes ago. Another time I thought I'd drop off a shirt for getting a button fixed and she had a minute to do it right then and there on the spot with precision. Wonderful service and a smart eye for business when it comes to keeping customers happy. Amazing service!! I dropped off my jeans to get hemmed and a pair of scrub pants (Hole). She only charged be $8 which was just for the jeans. TO compare if you buy jeans from Buckle it is FREE but if you bring your own minimum of $20. She fixed my scrub pants for FREE. I went in a week before my friend's wedding to have my bridesmaids' dress altered. It was finished on time and for a fair price. They also fixed a zipper on my sister's purse. Also a great job. I was a little disappointed they couldn't do my sister's wallet but they said it was too small. I'll have to find somewhere else that can help me with that. I highly recommend Sew Perfectly. I have taken maybe 20 items to them in the last few months so I can speak to their excellent skill and customer service. I got simple things done like hemming or adding a slit or repairing a tear and I feel like my clothes got rescued for a very low cost. I have also gotten more complicated things done like replacing a band on a skirt with an elastic band, and getting a faux fur collar on a jacket completely replaced (I brought them the new faux fur fabric, which I purchased separately), the items look amazing. My daughter and I stumbled upon Sew Perfectly after visiting an established Tucson store for alterations on her wedding dress. The sample dress (Lis Simon, size 12) was purchased at a boutique in Phoenix (Bella Lily Bridal) and was gorgeous. Since my girl is a size 2 or 4, it would need some serious alterations. While the bridal shop had plenty of recommendations for alteration shops in Phoenix, we choose to search out the options near our home in Tucson. First we tried an established store that quoted a rather high price and suggested modifying the dress on just the sides. The kind lady understood that we would look into other locations. Then my daughter found high reviews on yelp for Sew Perfectly. No appointment was necessary but we did have to wait 20 min. until they finished with 2 others they were working with. While we waited, my daughter grew impatient, BUT I observed the fine skills of this shop. This I know because I can sew ... just had no desire to alter my daughter's elegant, seven layer wedding dress. Once it was our turn, the woman carefully pinned and made suggestions. First the shoulders, then the sides but also the back. She asked if we'd prefer an invisible zipper to replace the standard one! Yes, yes, and yes! She believed they could finish sometime in July, just 4 weeks after we brought it in. To my surprise, the store called yesterday (June 30th) and said they were done ... just 10 days later! We were stunned by the timing and the fitted dress now hugged my daughter's petite body perfectly. Sew Perfectly asked for 10 additional minutes to sew on a hook above the zipper and finalize some seams that were simply hand sewn just in case she needed additional changes. We zipped over to Starbucks for a cool drink and returned to finalize the transaction. Since the wedding is in October, we will consider the type of bustle my daughter prefers and then return for this final touch. Final thoughts: this store is amazing! Professional, courteous, trustworthy, and highly skilled. I whole-heartedly recommend them and hope to use them again, gladly driving from east Tucson when alterations are needed. I needed the waist taken in on a pair of jeans I had. I have never used a seamstress so I looked on my trusty Yelp app and picked this place because of their 5 star rating. Yelpers you were right on the money, like usual ;-), with this one. I brought in the jeans and was immediately greeted. After measurements I was told my pants would be done the next day. I returned and was asked to try them on to make use they fit properly and they were perfect! I looked and looked and I could not find were they were taken in at.
