The Strawberry bruschetta was very good and quite filling. Hickory chicken flatbread was not as good and the whole thing didn't blend well. Looked great on paper but not as much in person. The shrimp Diablo pasta wasn't very Diablo and the noodles were Udon like, which was ok but unexpected. Will try something different next time. read more

The service was so friendly and I think the place is genuinely cool. I like the virtual aspect of the golf and how you can do different things with it. The food on the other hand is a different story. Their fresh made chips and truffle fries are really good! I ordered the Apple Pecan Salad with Chicken with Lemon Blueberry Vinaigrette on the side. The salad itself was good but they forgot to put my chicken on top and when they did give me the chicken it was dry and a very small portion for $10 on top of the normal price. This review is for the restaurant only. When we arrived the person at the hostess desk was on the phone but a waitress noticed us and greeted us. We arrived before the lunch crowd but what I ordered apparently took longer to prepare so there was a delay. Our waitress was hustling and despite all the tables she was handling, did not neglect ours. The ambiance was fine and the food was fine. Nothing too special enough to return for another meal. My review is solely based on the golf simulator and a few drinks on a Sunday afternoon - I've heard nothing but good things about the food, and will definitely revisit if I come back here and have a meal. We paid ~$60 per person (when accounting for tips) for 2 hours on the simulator and 2 beers. Not egregious pricing by any means, but a little steep considering the place was empty. But my major complaint was that the system clearly needed some calibration compared to other simulators I've used in the past. Turn Club is a wonderful place where (for a fee) customers can play virtual golf and enjoy drinks at the full bar inside. My friend and I went for the food. I had gotten carne asada tacos on corn tortilla. They came correct with the spice, fresh vegetables and tender meat. Not to mention the cheese was super fresh too. Keep in mind the food will take time to prepare as it's a "from scratch" kitchen, so do not expect bar food that they can whip up in ten minutes. The wait is worth it though. The lady serving was terrific (told her we want the sauce recipe for the chicken marsala and she shot back "It's a secret!") Great place, check it out if you can. read more

It's hard to fathom how this place markets itself as a country club lite experience. I have been ignored more times than I can count while either sitting at a table or at the bar. About three months ago I sat at a table and waited and watched every single table next to mine (and mind you be seated after me) get served their meals before my table's food arrived. They were gracious enough to comp a beer (yay). I finally decided to give them another try tonight. . I was by myself and I was there after 8pm, so not that busy anymore. I sat at the bar. I was asked if I wanted drink promptly and received such. However I was there for dinner. For the next 30 minutes nobody came to ask me for my order. I felt invisible. Quite humiliating. Had a great time at the turn club for early dinner. A friend and I met here as a half way point, neither of us had ever been. The staff were extremely friendly Jacklyn was our server and she was attentive checked on us often throughout our meal. Came to the table each time a new item was delivered and made recommendations when asked. We had the chicken meatballs, I had the whiskey burger and we enjoyed brownie skillet for dessert. After doing the Rabid Raccoon 5k the Turn Club seemed like a great place to have a late dinner. Unfortunately no one would wait on us and we left. We were seated rather quickly, but then waited and waited as waitresses and managers walked past again and again. There must have been something going on in the parking lot because everyone's attention was focused there. The food was average. Fries were cold, salad was nothing special for what you pay. What was disappointing was they charge a fee for bringing in a birthday cake, or even cupcakes. So happy to have found this one! The patio is cozy and quieter. Loved that the salad dressings are all house made. The house salad with blue cheese dressing was perfect. I wish my husband and I had gotten different entrees-they all looked delicious. We both had the super tender Chicken Marsala with perfectly prepared asparagus and one of the best Parmesan Risotto's I've ever had! They have live music on Thursdays which we enjoyed as we sang along to Sweet Caroline. They close at 9p on Thursday, but they kindly sat us when we walked in after 830p. We never felt rushed as we ate. We really enjoyed the food. The service was great and the portions are generous. As an avid golfer, I really appreciate the decor. On most road trips I bring my clubs and play along the way, but left them at home this time. Was so hungry that I forgot to take photos! Came around 8 with a total party of 7 and completely lucked out because a previous reservation no-showed and we didn't have to wait for a table. The place is extremely lively with plenty of seating. I got the chicken florentine panini and was given the idea to also get a side of marinara (to dip my sandwich into). Best idea ever! For drinks I ordered the Pina Asada and the Spiced Pear Highball, both really delicious, but a special shoutout to the Spiced Pear because the cinnamon flavor within really put the whole drink together. We stopped to eat lunch at 2 pm today no one was at the desk to greet us. We stood there for at least 5 minutes and then we asked if we could get a table for two..... we were told "just wait a minute." She didn't smile, and couldn't be bothered. A manager came by and was nice and she asked the same hostess if we were being taken care of to which she responded "yes, getting a table ready." She addressed the manager but not us. The hostess then came back and rang out a tab and didn't say a word and walked away. After a total of 10 minutes we left. The restaurant wasn't busy. Teach your employees to greet people in a timely fashion and with a smile and eye contact. She acted like we were a bother being there. Poor customer service. read more

It's always a struggle for me as a vegetarian to find decent food in Pittsburgh but I managed to find this gem of a spot in Cranberry Township! I was struggling to choose 1 thing because not only did they have a lot of vegetarian options but all types of vegetarian options! And don't even get me started on their selection of desserts. Let's just say I wanted a huge sampler of everything. I got vegetarian chorizo tacos which had so much flavor. If you're looking for a a filling and flavorful meal, this is the one. My only recommendation is that they not make both the aioli and the chorizo packed with flavors because they then start competing and you can appreciate each one. I think the aioli should be a compliment with a little less flavor so appreciate the chorizo. Both together tend to bring out the salt more and I don't think this is intended to be a salty meal. Let's start with golf reservations. I have an established account already. Tried to do on-line reservations to take friends and the system wouldn't recognize me. Tried to make a new account and it told me one already existed for my email. Caught in an endless loop. So I called to make the simulator reservations... phone Rand off the hook and kicked me over to voicemail. Hung up. Decided to skip golf and just make dinner reservations for four. Called back and was immediately put on hold for almost 2 minutes. When I asked to make dinner reservations for 4 they told me they only make reservations for six or more. That's dumb. read more

I love this place. Been there three times now, and waited to write a review just to see if it was as good each time. It is! They have a great rotating local beer selection along with their full bar. The burgers are outstanding. the fries are hot and crispy with the right amount of salt. I've enjoyed the Turn Club for lunch, dinner, and drinks on the patio listening to live music. It is always a stellar experience! The staff is welcoming upon arrival and friendly throughout my stay. The local live band not only played rockin' covers, they also shared their originals with us. The creative cocktail menu seems to change often and offers combinations I've not had before. I've tried several things from the menu over time and everything has been delicious and well prepared. I think my two favorite dishes are the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with an amazing coleslaw side and the salmon entree. Don't forget to save room for dessert - I rarely leave without getting the cast iron brownie!
