The weather was perfect and the 5-star service provided by Cameron (great enthusiasm for his job) was really appreciated by our group. It was our first time on Lake Granbury, so he gave us a great orientation to the lake and how to stay in the deep channel away from any trouble or shallow areas. We were able to see availability on the Sams Dock website, and secured our start time reservation right there online. We rented a large pontoon that was super clean, and in perfect working order with good safety features of latched doors, safety equipement on board, and safety 3ft high wall around the deck that created a safe platform inside for the kids. (Good to have boundaries for the kids!) Although we didn't do it, we could have rented a tube to pull behind the boat as the motor was quite powerful. Ii easily was able to go up to 35 or 40 miles per hour. (tubbing next time.) The girls did swim from the boat and the fold-down ladder helped get them back in the boat easily. We rented the boats for 2 hours as it was our first time to try out the lake. Next time I'd like to try half-a-day or full day so we can stop for lunch and do some fishing. Having owned a boat for 12 years before, it is a much better deal to rent. It saves a whole lot of money and a whole lot of work and a whole lot of worry about the maintenance of the boat. **** Thank you Cameron at Sam's dock for a great experience!

First he calls and complains and it's the wrong boat he's talking to us about then he calls my phone and has never talked to me before and thinks he can talk disrespectful to me, that will never fly with me. Had Tim do all the required maintenance that had not been done. Discovered water pump had not been changed for at least 2-5 years!. Installed new pump. Plus, I had him install LED lights along the sides and docking lights. Everything was done to perfection. The boat runs great. No more worries! Eight months later: Nov 2019-Put fresh gas with ethanol treatment and gas stabilization treatment in boat. Kept trickle charger on battery. April 2020: Two squeezes of 2stroke oil from oil tank. Crossed fingers. Engine started with one turn of key! Thanks Tim!

I…read morepurchased a boat about a year ago that had been sitting outside for several years with a big hole in the cover over the engine compartment. I realized that I had taken on a little more than I could handle after I started going through the boat. I was keeping the boat at Shorline MIni Storage where John's shop just happens to be. Not only did John perform many repairs on the boat, but he was extremely patient and willing to answer any and all questions that I had about the repairs that I was planning to perform myself. We just let the tab build as John performed the many necessary repairs to get the boat up and running well again. I was pleasantly surprised with the reasonable final bill when it was all said and done, and I will definitely continue to use his services. I would definitely recommend John at Boats Unlimited if you are looking for an extremely knowledgable and reputable boat mechanic.

The place is meticulously maintained, they mow often and keep it spotless! They have great amenities, a laundry room, a beautiful main building with a kitchen, living room with comfortable seating and a tv, mailroom, and bathrooms with showers. They also have a dog park, a fire pit, and a pond. The people are friendly and helpful. Just really a great place!
