The cheapest bid I got elsewhere was $25,000 from the big roofing companies. Luke (Hannah Construction Owner) laughed when he heard that. He put mine on for $7,500. This year we had new gutters and covers put on. Also way less than competitive bids. They replaced an old pseudo french door with an actual French Door. Way less then a bid I got 8 years ago. The last project they did and the most beautiful is my new deck. Hannah construction put in a composite deck for less than what Long Fence wanted for wood. Jorge the Carpenter was a true craftsman. He was a joy to watch work. All Hannah employees are friendly, professional and have amazing skill. I would reccomend them to anyone.

There was no reason for the delay because the weather was not an issue. Someone from the company called and asked for payment prior to the work being completed. When you call with an issue, no one will return the call. I was billed for services that were no rendered. Now I see the reason for the limited number of reviews for this company. I was impressed with the samples of work I saw and the pricing was very good- right where I expected. The project spanned about a month. From Day 1, Jon was clear with the project scope and deliverables, and we had everything lined up in the contract. We started on time and also with the addition of another bathroom, the schedule worked out perfectly. Joey and 'T' arrived on time each day, and any questions or improvements we had were addressed immediately. It was a joy to have them working with us-- they were very conscientious and the detritus created by the demo was almost nonexistent. They were very easy to work with and very professional, I was impressed at the workmanship and attention to detail. Throughout the project Jon was great at keeping in touch, and visited the job site often to review details. We worked together to land on decisions for flooring, paint, lighting, and detail work. They made it as easy as possible for us to continue living in our home while having our bathrooms fully remodeled. It was severely weathered and they made it look new after a couple days work without removing it. They charged us 1/3rd of the other companies that gave us quotes. We also have had them repair other doors, fix rotted stairs, replace broken deck boards, replace handrails, stain and paint, as well as multiple repairs. Each time their workers came when they said they would, did the work efficiently and did a great job. One very important point: we have had several storm-related repairs lately. Our insurance provided contractor ghosted us, several others did not return our call, many thought our needs were not substantial/lucrative enough. After searching Angie's list for a reputable company to repair a single wooden spindle on my…read morestairwell, I called Affordable Solutions, LLC to come out and provide me with a n estimate. Mr. Gibbs came to home, extremely late on the day of the appointment. He suggested he cut the damaged spindle and take it with so it could be matched exactly. He ensured me his wood guy could replicate the discontinued spindle as I requested. He also ensured me it would only take a few days to get the spindle back. He quoted me a price e of over 400.00 for 1 wooden spindle and would not start the work without a deposit and contract. It ended up being weeks before I got the spindle back. When he returned, the color was extremely off, and he had to take the spindle back to fix the color. Several weeks later he again returned. When he returned I could not believe what he brought back to be placed in my home stairwell. It was not the custom-made spindle replicated by his wood guy, but a 6.00-dollar spindle from Home Depot. The color did not match, nor was it the same style of spindle. He failed to inform me that he would be installing the wrong spindle. I WAS LIVID! I could not believe a so call reputable company bamboozled me out of 400.00 for a 6.00 spindle. I asked him why he dd not call or inform me he had the wrong spindle, he just arrived at my home and commenced to installing the mis matched spindle. He never apologized, never offered a refund, no even partial. I am still considering suing him for breech of contract. He also discovered that the bottom of my house was letting a lot of air in. My house is a 1930s Cape Cod style, so I wasn't surprised. He explained what could be done as well as what rebates were available to help offset the investment. We had the work done and our home is super comfortable. We are all electric, including hot water, well pump, dryer and heat pumps. Our highest electric bill to date has been $221 (which included a full week of baking holiday cookies in an electric oven). What looked good at the finish has not cured well over time. Olde Tyme Craftsmen installed a new…read morefront door and windows on my house. Within 2 years, water started pouring into the home, like a hose was turned on, through the upper front door trim and two front windows trim. After getting on a ladder and looking at the top of the trim, I found NO caulk, NO flashing, and huge open gaps in the wood siding around the trim. Under another window, the wood siding has bowed out at the seam. None of the windows or door were flashed at the top correctly. The insulation under the house that they install had to be replaced because it had fallen or wasn't completed. The moisture barrier wasn't installed on the floor of the crawl space completely. The structural integrity of the build is sound. The finish work was very rushed and has been problematic. It was a very expensive bill for the job. George was too worried about his profit margin to be a good problem solver. I had a very bad experience with this company. Though, it ultimately changed into a bad experience due to the sub-contractors ill treatment of me, I put that on George for being a weak lead. George stood behind his sub-contractors while trying to convince me I didn't know what I was talking about. He was very arrogant and talked down to me. By the end of the job, I wondered to where the nice collaborative George had disappeared. I have spent thousands of dollars repairing the work they did.
