I had a frustrating experience here today that left a bad taste in my mouth. The menu clearly says the 2 Taco Combo is $13.75 and includes tacos, rice, beans, chips, salsa, lime, and a drink. Pretty simple, right? When I ordered, the lady told me $15.75 only covers rice, beans, and a drink, and that I'd have to pay extra for the tacos. I even pointed to the menu, and she still said, "No, you have to pay for the tacos." In the end, I was charged $15.75 per combo plus another $25.50 for six tacos. I only got six tacos total, not twelve. So I was charged twice for tacos that should've already been part of the combo. She wasn't helpful or understanding, and it felt like she didn't care. I left feeling frustrated and honestly taken advantage of. I'd like a refund for the overcharge. I've eaten here before and liked the food, but this experience was disappointing. Came here for lunch and it was delicious! The shrimp ceviche was fresh and came with fried flour tortillas, which is hard to find at other places which usually give tostadas. It was so good! The shrimp and fish tacos (we got them fried but u can also get them grilled) were also bomb. The fried beef taco was also a hit with the kids. Placed a phone order today and the cashier was very kind and polite. I was given my total and wait time. When we walked in the seating area was super clean and was fresh mopped. I love a clean dining area. Chose my salsas and was given my order. Once we arrived home I checked the order and everything was correct. Don't let the bad reviews fool you. I understand that getting your order wrong can be frustrating, but sometimes a little patience and better communication go a long way, especially when there is only one cashier and the place gets busy. My experience was great. I only waited for one person to order and another to receive their food before it was my turn. She took my order carefully and even noticed the look on my face when I was surprised by the price. She double checked whether I meant three separate orders of taquitos or just one order with three taquitos, which made a huge difference. The total went from about 52 dollars down to 26 dollars. I had also ordered three chicken tacos for my mom. She went through all the extras with me to make sure everything was correct, and I received my food in a timely manner. One of the ladies in the kitchen even called me back up to double check my order. I think she thought I might have received something I was not supposed to, which honestly made me laugh. We've been coming here for years but food quality has gone down while the prices have skyrocketed! Our bill was $44 for a carne asada burrito, 2 fish taco combo & an order of taquitos. They have become very stingy with their salsas only giving us one each of the red & green salsas for the above mentioned order. An order of taquitos is now $12 for 3 mini taquitos! I asked for 4 grilled yellow chilis & I got one that wasn't even grilled. The fish tacos weren't as good as they used to be with part of the batter over cooked. The only thing that is still good are the beans. There are too many good Mexican eateries in the area to overpay for mediocre food. Horrible service and food. I ordered through Uber eats and it was a freaking nightmare trying to get my order. They insisted I had to give them a code for my order (which I looked for and even contacted Uber eats to get) but we (them included) couldn't locate it. Geez I ordered a large shrimp cocktail that costed me $16.00 a and change.. I guess when you order a large they give you a large cup and the same amount of shrimp as you would get in a small. Don't tell me there is a shortage of shrimp . If you look, you can tell just how little shrimp they put in there, but it's rather tasty, I'll probably go back again. I also noticed that if you order a large horchata (which I didn't this time), it's the same size as this shrimp cocktail cup. The fish tacos are better bang for your buck and delicious too!
