It was huge, at least a pound & half. Asada was tasty, fresh & shrimp was bite size & moist. No batter on shrimp which was perfect. Rice & beans was home style & fresh. Make sure you hit the salsa bar. Very fresh & flavorful. Red was hot & delicious. The place is modern & huge for a taco/burrito place. Clean with plenty of tables. I like that they prep & construct your order in front of you. They have a Taco Tuesday & will try it next time. Plenty of drink choices, fountain style & bottles. I am from Orange County and work in DB . While running an errand I saw the Taco DeAnda sign and my mouth started watering. I got inside looked at the menu and decided on 2 tacos plate... there was only 1 person working and had a food delivery service person waiting for their order and me in line. This was at 12:45 prime lunch time. Poor scheduling leaving only one guy to man the whole place. He had a huge order the door dasher left and gave him 10 extra minutes and I waited and waited. He mumbled something is Spanish and continued to cook food for the large order... I am starving at this point and felt bad that this poor guy was stressed so I left... the el pastor on the trompo looks so good and fresh. I used to love coming here. The customer service was super friendly and the food was a great value and super delicious as well. But lately I've been noticing that the staff isn't quite up to the standards they had before. I went in today and asked for my usual al pastor burrito. The employee made me a carne asada burrito instead. When I pointed that out, I got a scowl and some kind of name-calling under his breath. He also skimped out on giving the same amount of meat he had scooped when he erroneously scooped the carne asada. Not that it made much of a difference anyway. Lately the burritos have begun to become mostly rice and beans with not nearly as much meat as they used to give for the same price. It's made me stop coming because I liked them because their tacos and burritos weren't 75% rice, some beans, and then my pastor or leche or carnitas as an afterthought. And to cap my visit off they attempted to ypcharhe me on my regular drink for a large. I had to repeat three times that I only needed a regular before they fixed what they wanted to charge me. The beans here and the rice are really good probably better than some of the other taco places in the area. I was sad that the lengua and the cabeza didn't have any flavor. They just tasted boiled. Beans, rice, and cheese burrito wasn't bad, chicken tacos didn't have much flavor, and my boyfriend said the carne asada was so bad he couldn't eat it. Also, was bothersome that the same gloves were used for all of the food. A lot of places do this, but here the meat was picked up with hands then my vegetarian burrito was made. I didn't want to be "that person" so I didn't say anything, and maybe should have. It's disappointing because everything else had promise. First time here and it was pretty good food was pretty tasty and I like options on the meats they have and how they have the cilantro and onions separated to the grilled onions we tried a few different things from the tacos to the burrito to the burrito bowls and they are not cheap on the meat! This review has been a long time coming. They are open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM everyday. I frequently come to this location for some tasty tacos on a weekly basis; especially on Tuesdays. They have so many awesome meat selections for you to choose from as well as a good range of classic menu items for you to enjoy. (Refer to the pictures below of the menu) I usually get myself 6 to even 9 tacos on Tuesdays for some good grubbing. On Tuesdays, they have a special for their carnitas and chicken tacos at a fantastic $1.50 price point. With how much they give you as far the meat quantity, you won't be disappointed. Here's what I typically get: 3 carnitas and three chicken. I opt in for the cilantro and onion mix, with green(verde) salsa, grilled onions and extra cheese. It's so good y'all. On days other than Tuesday, you'll find me getting 3 Al Pastor tacos and three chicken tacos. (Check out the pictures below) There are different prices for the meat selections you pick so make sure you look at the menu or ask to specify the price of the taco meat you're paying for. Service with a smile. I appreciate the guys there who have consistently made great efforts to provide great customer service while they help you accomplish your foodie desires. Ricardo, the general manager, works there throughout each day and has been dedicated in providing solid service with some solid food. He makes sure him and his staff keep the place looking clean and ready to go to serve the people. Speaking of which, the place can hold about 20ish or so people inside. Additionally, José, his right hand man, gives great service in making the tacos and is friendly in asking how your day has been. He is a hard worker over there and his help is much appreciated; especially since he remembers how I enjoy my tacos. After you get your order, they have a quaint little salsa bar, where you can double up on some red and green salsa, cilantro, onions and freshly chopped limes. Adjacent to that, you have drink options on both sides of it. Coca-cola soft drinks to the left including your favorite orange bang drink and Mexican bottled beers and soft drinks to the right in their refrigerator. (See pictures below) Lastly, if you're looking to feed a bigger party, they also have party platter options featured in the pictures below. All in all, this place has fresh choices and ingredients for you to enjoy. They give good sized portions and give great service to match. I have been coming here since they opened and it was absolutely amazing. All the meat had so much flavor and the service was great. I loved this spot. Over the last 3 months I have noticed a huge difference in the quality of meat and flavor. I have been 5 times in just the past month. Like I said I loved it and didn't want to make this post. I kept telling myself maybe it was just a bad batch. The asada has been absolutely terrible, zero flavor and tons of fatty meat, it's so bad I tossed out half my tray of meat. It's just sad, I was really hoping this place would stay consistent with their food. As far as the service goes, it's still great. And I have never had a problem with the portion size. Super friendly staff, giant, delicious burritos, and clean restaurant. I went in for their bogo special and ordered 2 chicken burritos, no beans, to go. There is a little salsa bar where you can pack your own salsas, onion, cilantro, and lemons. They make your burrito in front of you like poke places, Subway, and Chipotle... but I wasn't watching as I went to get salsa. My husband and I went for some tacos on the second day of the opening, those were very delicious, we order tacos of birria/barbacoa, lengua, carnitas, chorizo and al pastor. We miss so much the traditional flavor from Mexico, and we founded this restaurant also with great customer service, super clean, and great quality of the food. Just for me the tacos al pastor taste different from the flavor that I'm used to had in Chihuahua, Mexico those are like with the adobo of the cochinita pibil and also with pineapple, but in here the other are more than excellent for us. Came here yesterday as I was craving tacos. This is a really nice restaurant and the food was great. Their salsa is really good and spicy. I really liked their guacamole, which is rare because I feel like most restaurants make mediocre guacamole. Their prices were decently priced. I did not expect them to have a chipotle/subway style of ordering. I thought I could just give them my order and wait for it to be ready. I only say this because it was hard to tell who was taking my order or was preparing a burrito that was ordered ahead of me. But it was overall good. My only complaint is that they didn't keep it as clean as there was rice and onions on the floor and on our table that we were eating. All are very good for over 15 years since I worked in Orange County near the Block and Main Place Mall Customer service needs to improve. If I order $50 or $12 worth of food, it's not too much to expect that they give me enough salsa, cilantro, limes and onions for me if I order To Go. Especially if I ask for Salsa on the side 4 times. The Mexican restos in this area are very good with food and Customer Service.
