I took it to a shop elsewhere in town, they put in a new screen but it had one functional flaw -- the screen was polarized in the wrong direction, and so when wearing my sunglasses (which are polarized these days) and holding my smartphone in portrait orientation, the screen appeared black - I could not see a thing on the screen. [Normally smartphone screeens are polarized so that there is no polarizer problem when viewing them in portrait orientation.] This other shop did not know what to do about the problem and eventually gave me my money back. So I took the phone to Feras and explained my problem. He knew about this type of problem, and used a new case+screen assembly to supply the new screen for my phone. Recently I realized that my smartphone is expensive as my laptop. Which makes it a really stressful decision who to entrust it to when the screen accidentally gets cracks and the display goes dead. I never had to repair a damaged screen before (I could exchange the phone instead). This time my phone was out of warranty and I was not ready to buy a new phone yet. I called the evening before and got a quote for fixing my phone's screen and the time it will take to fix it. Walked-in the next day mid-morning, Feras let his coffee go cold while he fixed my phone in the promised time. I walked out with my phone screen looking and working as good as new! Life saver! I shattered my iPhone 6S screen, screws were pushing out fragments, thought it was a complete loss. Verizon was no help, they don't do repairs or offer any options other than "submit a claim, pay deductible or $$$ to get new phone". Last ditch effort, take into SF Smart Wireless - revealing question we should all know: Does the phone make a sound/show connection activity when plugged into a computer? I recommend Feras at SF Smart Wireless! My Nexus 6P battery had been slowly failing and would auto-shutdown regularly with 40% - 60% battery life. I could get about 4 hours of light use before this happened, and I would have to charge back up to 100% again. I'd searched Yelp, decided to have Feras do the work, and even reached out to him 3 or 4 times. His response to my Yelp messages was always fast. He quoted me $60 to replace the battery. I contacted Huawei about replacing the failing battery. They could replace the battery, but they would also charge me to replace the screen for $160, and I would have to ship my phone to them for total elapsed time of 3 weeks without a phone. 1) my screen is fine and doesn't need to be replaced 2) 3 weeks without a phone is unreasonable 3) no option to only replace the battery is bad business 4) I would have to factory reset my phone before sending it to Huawei Two months after my initial contact with Feras I finally made my way to SF Smart Wireless in the Mission. The shop is small, and filled with all manner of phone accessories hanging on the walls for sale. There are lots of broken phone screens, motherboards, and components of phones laying about. A number of promotional posters for affordable phone services, international calling, etc. are posted as well. Given how efficient Feras worked, I don't care what the shop looks like! When I asked how long it would take, and could I wait, I was told, "it could be awhile." Feras checked and he had the correct battery for my phone in stock. He gave me a verbal disclaimer, that if the thin piece of Gorilla glass on the back of the phone that covers the camera, light, and sensor breaks I would have to pay for it... but he didn't have any in stock. He has never broken one, but he felt obligated to tell me. About 20 minutes after I arrived I walked out with a new battery, with no collateral damage. The cost was $60 as quoted, and I didn't have to factory reset my phone. As other's have written in reviews - Feras is efficient, honest, and friendly. This is my second repair with Frank. I had a lower repair quote but when I went to that shop it jumped in price. Frank couldn't do the repair same day. I dare can say the decision that I ask here to fix my phone and I believe him to fix is my worst decision ever in my life! I passed my phone on the 12th of Feb. He supposes to give my phone back on the 26th of Feb but I got my phone back on the 12th of April. In the two months waiting, he never called me by himself. It is only once that he had been called from me during more than 20 calls(base on fact only). I called and it did not get well. He delayed the days when I can pick up my cell phone with various excuses. I took all that. But the result was the worst. Everything was all right when I let him take my phone. I was able to make calls, text, also WIFI, and LTE were all available, the screen was the only problem which it looks a little yellow. He told me to change the whole screen. I agreed with him and he said I would pay $ 180 if he fixed my phone. But!! As a result, the cell phone I received was complete garbage. The cell phone does not turn on. The home button can not be used and the power will not turn on. It could not read the SIM card when he turned on the phone by using the equipment. I could not use the phone or text, nor could use LTE or WiFi. The back of the phone and the edge of the phone have a lot of scratches caused by his shallow technical skills. The beside of earphone jack parts were all cracked. He ruined my phone completely. Then he said, "something can happen, u lost it and I lost too." What have you lost !? If it was in my hand, my cell phone would be alive with only one problem which is the yellow screen, now the trash is in my hands which can't use call, text, WiFi, LTE even can't be turned on!. He gave me the worst result he could give. I wish I can post the pictures in the review so other people can see all the result what he fXXXed up. The last thing what I wanted to tell him is you should be shameful about what you have done. You have to be sincerely sorry that you gave me these result even though I kindly understood all your excuses, also you should be thankful to me that I did not sue you. read more

Wonderful service! They fixed my iPhone screen in under twenty minutes and did a great job. Prior to coming here, I got my screen replaced at another repair shop but, while they were very professional, my screen just didn't behave properly, even after they made two attempts (and they claimed they didn't see any problems).
