Decided to give a try as we've not yet ordered food from this spot. We got a Sicilian, cheese steak, a pasta dish, and a few apps. Across the board I would say that the food was good, but not great. We traveled here from Albany NY to go to 6 flags and decided to order some food to our hotel after a long day. We saw the reviews and thought what the heck... We got a turkey hoagie which came completely saturated.... With almost green tomatoes on it... We got a BLT panini that was completely dry with nothing on it and was not even grilled with almost rotten tomatoes on it.. the best part was the salad which half way through my husband found a sticker with a UPC from the apples on his fork. We also ordered a side of meatballs which only there was only 2 and they weren't even that great and were gray. Very disappointed glad we like the french fries or we would have totally had nothing to eat at all... We were 1st timers and last timers. It's sad that they would even serve anybody anything like we got tonight. Buyer beware. read more

This pizza place is a super convenient location right on route 206 in Bordentown. They make some unique speciality pizzas that you can't get just anywhere. Sfizio "On a Whim" is the perfect place to go when everyone in your family wants something different. I've tried the gourmet pizza with arugula, prosciutto, and mozzarella. This was exactly what I was craving and really hit the spot. They also have so many "On a Whim" appetizer options like Macaroni and cheese balls, jalapeño poppers, cheesesteak bites, and taco sliders. There is a sampler option where you can pick four apps to try out, which seems perfect for a group. I had great hopes for this place seeing only a few reviews, but most were raving about how good the food was. I was also happy to see one $ sign...... In short, we should have gone to WaWa. Worst pizza I've ever had. Two personal pizzas, buffalo and arugula mozzarella prosciutto, two sodas and an order of curly fries. $39 and some change. Not one dollar sign. Curly fries were great but that's not why we came. My pizza had cold mozzarella the pizza wasn't even hot, and I could not taste the prosciutto at all. My wife's buffalo chicken pizza, well that's why WaWa she commented that WaWa has a better tasting buffalo wrap that the pizza she had. My wife really wanted to go to Mannino's, I should have listened. There is a possibility I am bias but I enjoy good food, and this was not good. We won't be back and will warn our friends read more

They have THE BEST Stromboli! and if you order a large, you will definitely have enough left over for later ... or enough to share with 1-2 more people. We are a local business who ordered lunch for several people one day. The order that was sent was incorrect. I called to straighten out the bill and the person on the other end of the phone was VERY RUDE and asked "How much do you want to pay?" I said we wanted to pay for what we ordered. He got very frustrated and said "Keep the food!" Then he hung up on me. I called back and said we did not want FREE FOOD, and would be happy to pay for what we ordered. AGAIN, he hung up on me. A few weeks later, we called back to order again and were told that "they would not deliver to us." I feel like we were treated terribly. The only reason I called back was because I felt bad about the prior experience and did not want FREE FOOD. Truthfully, the food is not that special, just convenient for us to have it delivered. This IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS IN MY OPINION. The person who I spoke to was HOT-HEADED and UNREASONABLE. If this is the owner, do not support his business. If it was an employee - FIRE him. Saw this place on my yep. Had 4 stars so I decided to try them. Bad idea first time pizza had no flavor. Ordered one of there signature pizza arugula fresh mozzarella and bruschetta didn't taste like anything (weird ). Try it again today but ordered the works bad idea again. Onions were like shoe strings and for some reason they put huge green peppers . It was only ok when I re-heated it and drowned it with hot sauce. Very disappointed plus veggies tasted old. Went in not knowing what to expect as this was our first time. I'll sum it up in a nutshell: This is a solid little pizza place. I had Sicilian and my wife had a turkey hoagie. Both were excellent. I've had it with this place honestly. They are closest pizza joint near me so I try to use them and be loyal but damn. They have recently forgotten many items, say they will bring them and don't. Say they will "credit my account" and haven't. Tonight I order a simple veal parm sandwich and a caesar salad. The sandwich itself wasn't bad, but barely any meat at all. It was all roll. The caesar was a joke. No romaine or nice lettuce. All crushed up iceberg, white lettuce with about 5 croutons and 3 sliced pieces of parmesan. I've given this place alot of chances, but seems to get worse everytime. I'm sure there are better places in Bordentown. Sorry Sfizio's... I'll be looking elsewhere. read more

Sfizio Pizza opened in early April in the old location of Renna's on US 206 near Rte. 545. We picked up a Salad Verde @ $8.50: "cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, avocado, spring mix, green apples" - very good and plentiful salad, all ingredients very fresh and tasty. Also one of their large gourmet pizzas @ $19.00, Bruschetta: arugula, fresh diced mixture of tomatoes, red onion, red pepper & kalamata olives. Crust was fine, not remarkable and toppings quite good. The place is quite clean, with 8 or so tables if you want to eat in. Staff is friendly. Our favorite pizza in Bordentown is Palermo's but we'll come back here too. We got some 15% and 10% coupons in the mail which take off a little more from these prices. read more

I decided to give this place a try, as the few other reviews were rather positive. Unfortunately I was unimpressed with the food. I ordered a Plain Pizza and a Chicken California sub, of which I found both to be underwhelming. The pizza was particularly greasy and compared to other places in the area (i.e. Palermos, Villa Manninos, Empire) was sub-par. Similarly, the chicken sandwich was also sub-par and lacked a good amount of chicken. Empire and Villa Manninos have much better subs. We've ordered the brooklyn margarita many,many times since Szifio first opened. Over the last couple of months the once sweet delicious tomatoes changed to salty, metal tasting mess. We called & complained and were assured the special margarita canned tomatoes are the same ones they've always used, from California. They were kind enough to make us another pizza and delivered it really fast. Unfortunately the 2nd Pizza was no different in taste. Sad. Tonight we decided to give Sfizio another try, found an ad that stated large Pizza, 20 wings and 2 liter soda for $25. When we called to place order, we mentioned the ad - the girl even said we can pick which soda when we pick When we picked up our order, we were told that is only special for 2/4/18. Our mistake for not seeing the "fine" print on the ad, but we mentioned that we wanted special offer when we called in the order-- they knew we were referring to this advertisement-- she should have corrected us then. We excepted to pay $25 & ended up charged $30 with no 2 liter soda. Very disappointed that order taker didn't make us aware of offer error that we mentioned when placing order. A bit dishonest, in my opinion. The pizza was dry, not enough tomato sauce cheese not savory and crust too thick. The wings were over cooked and dry....not enough mild sauce. Almost like jerky. Very disappointed with Szifio. Next time will stickwith Mario & Franks II and buy a DELICIOUS Pizza, 20 wings & 2 liter for $19.99. And if you don't have the $19.99 coupon they sell it to you for the special price anyway...bye bye Sfizio. read more

Tonight my girlfriend and I both ordered an appetizer sampler and it was absolutely horrible. We got 7 different options from the "whims" section of the menu and almost everything we got was inedible. We are not that picky and we eat at Empire and Anthony's all the time and I would suggest you go to one of those options.
