My son and I took a roadie here to see if it was worth the TT hype. It's a "to go" joint primarily; however, there is a small counter. No Sally, but staff was great. Got a meat lover's side slice and a margherita corner slice to eat while we waited for a pie to go. Great crust, unique taste. Quite different from what we get north of there. We will definitely hit this place up next time we are in the area.

Apparently if you ask for gluten free you're going to get beat up here? I guess we'll have to stick with Gennaro's.

We used to love Marcello's Pizza-Grill and ordered from here at least once a month. But my son is allergic to wheat so I'm no longer supporting a place that considers food allergies a big joke. Gennaro's makes a great gluten free pizza and they're not going to threaten to beat you up if you ask for it.

Sally slices!!, We had a blast and the best experience from the second we walked in. Got there right when they opened, so we were able to watch them still making some of the pizzas. The inside is fairly small with no seating, but they do have standing counter top with lots of pictures. We were greeted by Sally's sister Gabriella who was as sweet as pie! We talked to her for a half hour before we even ordered our pizza. What a sweetheart! Then we finally looked over to the delicious varieties that Marcello's offered. Asked what she recommended and got those. It did not disappoint! Fresh and hot pizza. Absolutely delicious! Ingredients were top of the line and the dough is tasty and perfectly cooked! While we were indulging Mr slices walked right in. We were standing at the counter top right by the door. We went up to him and talked to him. He was very humble and made us feel like family! 100% recommend!!

Definitely worth the hype! Great pizza. Perfect crust...just enough crunch and doughiness. Sauce was great. Service is top notch! Greeted with smiles from beginning to end. Was checked to make sure I was okay and asked "hows the pizza"....which is always encouraging to see/hear...especially in the service industry. Prices are reasonable...paid $5.50 for a corner slice and can of soda. Their current menu prices are very reasonable, given the current prices/cost of food in general. I was very happy to see every single employee hustling...making food, taking orders, other preparation. Small but adequate parking lot shared with a few other stores. I hope to return when I am in the area again to try some other slices/items.

So my coworkers are always ordering from here and I usually cook so I typically bring my own food from home. The one time I decide to order along with them there's hair in my food, so clearly no one is wearing a hair tie or net.

Stopped into the home of the famous Sally slices! Wanted to try the Corleone that they are known for. Was extremely surprised that how light this was. I was figuring it to be like a Sicilian, but it is much lighter. I would definitely choose the corners, as that is where all the well done melted cheese is crusted onto the edges. Very good sauce, and very good ratio of cheese to sauce. The flavors just great! I tried the pepperoni, and the pepperoni with hot honey. The one with hot honey gave it a sweet first bite and then a little bit of heat after you finish chewing. So good! Even though the restaurant was extremely busy, Sally slices was able to take a few seconds out to say hi.

My family and I came to New Jersey to vacation and I made the suggestion to try Marcello's. This was the best decision ever. Walking in, there are pictures everywhere on the walls of Sallyslices from TikTok. I spoke with a delivery guy who was absolutely honest that the wait was well worth it. I picked up the Margherita Corleone which it was absolutely amazing. You can tell there is a lot of heart and soul in the flavor of the pizza. My fiance had the Fettuccini Alfredo and I tried a bite which I wished I had a small plate of with the pizza. I highly recommend this place for the amazing food and the friendly service. My only wish is can you bring a shop to South Carolina?? My only regret is that I didn't get to meet the TikTok star. To the staff and more, thank you for making my day with your amazing food.

We came across this pizzeria in Hamilton. We love tomato pies and Trenton style pizzas, so we gave it a try. This place is very small, they have a little area with a counter top to eat some slices but basically they are more of a take out place. In any event we ordered the Coreleone pizza and it was delicious! We have been back several times and took some pies back home and put in our freezer. It's a bit of a ride for us but well worth the trip. If your in the area definitely try the Coreleone Pizza, you will not be disappointed. I will definitely return!

We just quit going out for Italian other than for tomato pies, but now we've begun actively looking for a place to enjoy simple Italian food--outside of the ubiquitous tomato pies. Gennaro's was our first stop, with the menu definitely reading more New World Italian than Old World. We started with a couple of appetizers: The Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms in Scampi sauce and the Antipasto Salad. I'm not a fan of Antipasto salads (I've a three item max addition rule for salads and tomato pies), but my wife enjoyed it. It was your standard antipasto salad for the area--perhaps more generous with the meat and cheese than the last one we ordered up the street at Papa's. The stuffed mushrooms had a good flavor, and although the sauce didn't really hit me as Scampi (the garlic wasn't really there), it was still good on its own, and I'd order it again. My wife ordered the Pork Chop Giambotta, which she truly enjoyed. It was a thick, good sized pork chop covered with a sauce that included potatoes, sausage slices, and sautéed peppers. The menu said that the peppers were hot and sweet, but they were pretty much 99.9% hot peppers. If that's an issue for you, I'd make a point in mentioning it to your server first. My wife doesn't do spicy, but luckily I was there to find a home for the hot peppers, and she said she'd order it again if we returned. My Veal Saltimbocca, however, was a letdown. The veal was overcooked and had lost its tenderness, but most surprising to me was that it was very different from the standard version I've known for years. Had I read the description more carefully, I'd have caught the fact it was in a tomato demi-glace rather than the white wine and butter emulsion I know and love. Also, the ham that was used was not the thinly sliced prosciutto one normally sees, instead it was a thick slice of something that I can't honestly tell you was prosciutto or not. The use of spinach instead of a sage leaf wasn't a complete shock, as I've seen that before. Overcooked veal, the prosciutto mystery, and tradition straying aside, the flavor almost bordered on being alright, but it definitely wasn't what I'd hoped for when I placed the order. To add insult to injury, I asked for pasta as my side, and was given a couple choices--I chose the linguini and got served a dente-less spaghetti. When I asked the waiter (who was otherwise extremely conscientious and attentive) if they were out of linguini, I was told that there's really very little difference between the two, which so blew my mind that I just shrugged and ate. While we were there, we could see that there were many people who acted like regulars enjoying their meals, and many of them were also eating tomato pies, however, we're on the hunt for a place that's going to satisfy our need for an Italian place that provides beyond the pizza oven. I'm up in the air about a second shot--my wife was much happier than me with the location (which means we'll likely go), but I'll definitely ask our server more questions about what I'm ordering next time to avoid any surprises.

The desire to try out a new spot in the area that served up the more traditional round pie led me here. Although I stopped in for take out, they have a decent dining area between the tables inside and the outdoor patio area. I went with a standard cheese pizza and an order of garlic knots. The garlic knots (3.25/5) were a bit on the smaller side, but served in a nice portion size with a decent garlic kick to them. The large cheese pizza (3.5/5) was a small notch above the central New Jersey average, with the dough, sauce, & cheese coming together for a nice pizza experience, although I did have to sprinkle on some spices to add to the flavor profile a bit. Service (4/5) while picking up was friendly, although slightly slow at first since the guy at the counter was initially fixated on his phone for a bit. Overall, I'd rate Massimo's a 3.5/5 pizza experience, and don't mind rounding up since Yelp doesn't allow half stars and menu prices were fairly reasonable. While I'm not sure I'd choose Massimo's over other pizza competitors in the Robbinsville/Hamilton area, it's still a decent option should you find yourself looking for a more traditional round pizza experience.

Cons: While the staff was pleasant, the service was extremely slow--especially considering there were only seven tables seated and we were the first to arrive. Our table of five ordered just two appetizers, yet the entire meal took three hours to complete. This delay was not due to extended conversation but rather very slow kitchen execution and service. Additionally, over the course of three hours, I was served only two glasses of water, the second of which I had to request. Water glasses were left half-empty for long periods; refills should be automatic. Finally, the broccoli served with my Chicken Piccata was ice cold. Overall: There are many other Italian restaurants in the area offering comparable pricing with significantly better food quality and far superior service. Based on the above mentioned, I'd give this a 2 out of 5 stars as this restaurant has some redeeming qualities, but not an experience I'd return for.

The slices fold without complaint and the toppings behave themselves. It's the sort of pizza you bring home on a Friday when everyone is tired and nobody wants to cook or a speech. The prices are kinder to your wallet than the famous spots nearby, and that matters. Not every meal needs to be a religious experience. It's definitely not a fancy place you'd want to dine in at, despite having a full menu of pizza and Italian dishes. We kept things simple by ordering a large plain cheese pizza and a chicken parmigiana sandwich. The pizza was slightly above average for a central NJ pizzeria, with decent sauce, cheese, and crust. It was a slightly thinner base and crust as compared to more doughy and thicker counterparts in the area. The chicken parm sandwich was similarly above average with decent ingredients. Everything was satisfying and on par for a good central NJ pizza experience.
