It was also easy to watch the Golden Knights game simultaneously during my most recent visit. The only vegan option on the menu is the Veggie Pizza, ordered with no cheese. The draught beer selection is split, with half on one side of the bar, and the other half on the other side. I looked at both to see all of the choices. They're fair about including enough independent craft beers (e.g., 805 Beer, Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada) and local beers (Hualapai IPA, Sean Patrick's Irish Red). We always loved this place and haven't been back in years but I'm sure glad we went back. Ambience, service, food, drinks were all wonderful. We had their Gilroy pizza which was good but slightly burnt. Don't miss out on their Nachos. Add the shaved steak which is sooo worth it!! It was totally loaded and yummy! Hubby got himself the sheared ahi tuna salad which he enjoyed. Very healthy and tasty. It was the apple pie lathered with caramel syrup and delightful ice cream that I went for and it didn't disappoint. I attended a work event here on the expansive patio. The seating was comfortable and the patio was covered to provide shade, yet still bright enough to enjoy the outdoors. Its a modern bar with alright service. Now if you're looking for a place to complete some studies and drink some beer, I would say that this place would do you just fine. Was served promptly during the less busy hours and the Reuben Eggrolls were pretty delicious. The environment is very calm considering that its not busy. Easy to maintain a conversation if you were to bring a date here. As the music is not loud enough to warrant shouting. Definitely recommended to come visit on a weekday. read more

Last week I had 3 childhood friends arrive from outta state and I would like to share my wonderful dining experience at SG's restaurant and commend the outstanding service provided by the beautiful manager Nakomi. I started coming here to drop off toys for the KLUC/Chet Buchanan annual toy drive. I've returned a few times, and found the service to be mostly spotty. They do have good specialty cocktails tho. The first specialty cocktail I had was the LVIT (Las Vegas ice tea), served in a mason jar with a ton of lemons. My first reaction was that it wasn't very good, but it improved a few sips later. It tasted like a kinda weak Long Island. The amount of lemons in the glass was unnecessary. I also had a gin cocktail that was yummy and packed a punch! The specialty cocktails are around $10, which seems about average for this area (Summerlin adjacent). They have PTs Brewing drafts also, which included all the standard microbrews. I'm a Beers & Bites member, which earns me dining credit for food & beverage purchases. The patio is nice, they have firepits and lots of seating out there. It's kinda an ultralounge vibe, tho I've not been out there in the late evening. Check out the restroom doors, also very cool! My beef with this place is the location. So easy to drive right by, which is what I did once, even though I knew exactly where it is! A confusing corner for sure. read more

My friend and I had such a fun time here. The bartender, whose name escapes me was awesome ( taller, short blonde hair) She was attentive as well as engaging. I go here for their nachos. They are tricolor chips, salted, crispy, and come with Jalapeños and sour cream. It's my fave nachos in Las Vegas so far. The cheese is the nacho cheesy cheese, which isn't my favorite but it is not bad. Their pretzel was shockingly bomb. It's huge but delicious. Two of us were invited to come here to try their new menu including some of the items for the new Happy Hour menu. We shared all the dishes which tuned out to be more than the two of us could finish. This called Sierra Gold Elevated and the new chef of the PT's SGs is changing the menu and trying new things. Starting out, we had sriracha chicken bites which were quite good. Served with a good dipping sauce this was a good way to start. Next came the loaded potato skins which were standard. Then came one of the best things of the night--a large Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese dipping sauce! I love salted pretzels and this was very good. I think I ate 2/3 of the pretzel. Then we shared the chicken parmesan sliders which were served with fries. After that came the $7 Happy Hour burger. A very good burger with shredded lettuce and a sauce reminiscent of a Big Mac. After this came two flatbread, the Gilroy and the meat feast. These are Happy Hour specials also at $8 each. Good flatbreads but we were starting to get full. However, we wouldn't leave without dessert. There were fried Oreos with vanilla ice cream, key lime cheesecake in a jar (cheesecake on top of a graham crust bottom and topped with whipped cream), and last, caramel apple crunch. The staff is friendly and helpful, beer glasses were always full and they put the football game on some televisions and MLB playoffs on others. The bar looks very clean and smells good and smoke free. This should be a busy restaurant/ bar as the location is also very convenient. The patio area was empty and there were only about a dozen people in the bar. It is very easy to figure out the reason this location appears to be failing - the food is horrible. For the first time I can remember my wife sent her food back, she said the teriyaki bowl was inedible, the staff replaced it with a chicken salad. The chicken salad was better but still a 3 out of 10. The tacos were ok but not great. The pizza was the worst pizza I have ever been served in my life. The cracker crust was stale and tasteless at the same time. The cheese was all in the center of the pizzas and had an artificial texture and taste. The sparse mushrooms and pepperoni were overshadowed by the horrible texture of the cheese. Once again this was not a fault of the bartenders or servers. The people in charge of the menu and kitchen need help desperately. We will return for the cold beer and nice staff but we will do it on a full stomach. read more

SG has such potential. I have never been a big fan of Sierra Gold, but the vibe at SG is different. The patio here is phenomenal. It's big with various types of seating, fireplaces, etc. There are tons of spots for table top gaming, but the place is a graveyard. If I had to guess, it's the location. You have to make a u-turn to get here if you come from 215 in either direction, which is probably the average person coming here rather than driving down Flamingo. But, if you miss the entrance to SG (which is easy to do, especially at night) after that u-turn, you might find yourself either back on the freeway, or you have to make yet another u-turn, which is 2 stop lights away. I could see someone saying "oh just forget it, let's go to PKWY. If you're an adult wanting to just lounge though, you'd want to come here. It might be tough to get to, but it's perfect for that. read more

So i came here last night to have some drinks and catch up with someone i haven't seen in years. Upon entering this place the outside and inside looked very nice. More on the upscale, trendy, clean and fresh looking side. It isn't some old dirty looking bar like most bars in vegas that is off the strip. theres also plenty of parking. The place makes a decent moscow mule and some yummy fried oreos! my friend also ordered lettuce wraps and didn't care too much for it. I ate some too and its definitely messy to eat. The staff seemed nice and gave decent service. The place is 24/7 so it doesn't close and seemed like a very quiet chill bar. you can sit at the bar with friends and be able to have a nice conversation there where you can actually hear one another. there wasn't loud music blasting or anything. And it's just another P.T.'s/Sierra Gold, but man. I had one of the tastiest cheeseburgers I've ever had. This location seems to be a black hole for the previous tenants, however it appears that SG won't fall down that black hole. It's the nicest one of the typical 24 chains which sadly inundate this town. From a range of corned beef hash, a giant Bavarian pretzel (my favorite) with mustard please;), hummus, flatbreads, that meaty round thing called a burger. One plus for me is they have Lavazza coffee- bring it on! Oh, yes that liquid courage stuff called alcohol. It apparent the vast majority of staff are 'friends' with the regulars, which also shows the attentiveness of service one receives. Hello, Me and my fiancé came in on October 21st for dinner to check the restaurant for our engagement . We were sitting down and had a blonde girl serving us amazing waitress. Sorry I don't have her name. She gave amazing service. While in the middle of eating a black girl approached us and we were asked to leave because apparently we were sitting in a reserved seating. Which when we first sat down nobody said anything until the black girl came. The restaurant was completely empty and there was a lot of other machines available. She rudely asked us to leave "now". I just wanted to bring this to the owners awareness. All that she needed to do is to move us to a different seat. This is a difficult review for me!!.. first of all, I've loved this location for almost two decades now since it was the old Sedona Ultra Lounge. It's a conveniently located location off the 2-15 in South Sunmerlin that provides an awesome ambiance. Since it was acquired by the PT's family much has changed, mostly the food following sync with the other restaurant/pubs in town. This is where my complaint -1 star lies. Food just doesn't live up to the locale. Last night we had a work party with most of the food options, most were standard pub fare and nothing exceptional. Service was good and we all enjoyed ourselves.. I just wish they added that extra umphh that made this place so special!! A definite go-to for happy hour, though, 5-7pm daily!! TERRIBLE SERVICE DON'T BOTHER Went in for food on a Sunday at 3.30pm. There were about 20 patrons in the bar. We sat at a table and waited 15 mins for a waitress. Eventually she came over and we ordered 2 beers andI said can we please order food. She said ill take your food order when I bring the drinks. 10 mins later drinks arrive and we ask again to order food to which she replied ill be right back. 45 mins later after watching her ON HER phone and only serving customers seated at the bar behind we went up and asked for our check as she never returned to take our food order. When I said we are leaving because you refuse to serve us food she scoffed and said " well I'm hear on my own so nothing I can do ..." . Beautiful and artful. I love this new concept which make me feel more elevated. I sat at the bar near by an entrance. Their shrimp and grits was great and lucky enough I was there on $5 wine day. Many servers were on the floor during the time I was there. I noticed all servers were just stuck together chatting about their personal life instead of spreading out or checking up on their guests. Sadly to see this beautiful bar is lacking of services. My second glass of wine was not pour from the bottle but popped out from under the counter. Not the best first impression. We made a reservation and they sat us in the bar area, then when we asked to move to an open booth, the hostess wouldn't accommodate us. We watched as that booth in the regular dining area sat open for 45 minutes, only for them to seat another couple at it. The new owners definitely renovated/changed the interior, if you remember the old Sedona. The atmosphere is loud, basically a nice sports bar. To start, we ordered the potstickers and baked ricotta with meatballs, both were just ok. I had the ramen, which was better than I expected and my husband had the grilled cheese. On the plus side, service was great (aside from the hostess). We did speak to the manager and he was apologetic and offered to assist us on our next visit. Good location, good food, good drinks, this place is alllll good to me. Some girlfriends and I came here on a Wednesday for drinks and snacks. It was about 7:30 pm when we came in and it was still poppin. For drinks I tried the Autumn Thyme which was tasty, but had too much muddled raspberries for my liking. The Elevated Mule was where it's at. So good! I highly recommend it! Food wise we munched on some hummus and a giant pretzel. Both were very tasty and a bit nicer than your typical bar food. The only thing I don't like about this place is the bathroom signs being drinks rather than just a standard "male" or "female" signs, but meh it's not too big of a deal. read more
