The problems started soon after when some touch up work needed to be done from damage caused by another contractor. We never expected them to fix it for free as the other contractor was going to pay for it. Still, Manny went in a tirade with my wife seriously disrespecting her and giving her grief. They did ultimately come out to make the repairs at no charge. Fast forward to now. We had some lights that burnt out needing to be replaced, we wanted the pavers power washed and resealed, and there were a handful of pavers that needed to be reattached... nothing major. My wife wanted to give Manny another chance as they did the original work. She called him and told him what needed to be done. He said text the address and he will let her know when he can come by to look at it. She did and we never heard back. She contacted him again a few days later and asked what happened, got excuses. A day and time were set. The day comes, and I have taken off work. He texts her in the morning saying he's stuck on a job far away and can't make it. The day is rescheduled. The next scheduled day comes, I take off work again, the time comes and goes and no Manny. After waiting 2 hours, my wife texted him. He read the message a few minutes later and never answered back. That was days ago, and we have still never heard back from him. Keep in mind, this is how he is treating an existing customer who has previously paid him 10's of thousands of dollars. You be the judge. I am giving the original work 3.5 and everything since 0, so I am being generous with the 2 rating. To Manny's response... I have the off centered fire place and lines not lining up on the walkway... not my imagination. We also still have your insulting messages from 10 years ago. Finally, you have time to read and give a long response to this review from Mexico, but you don't have time for a quick phone call or text saying an emergency came up and you can't make it. I don't think so. You keep saying "we", but this has all been you personally. Not an employee, not Crown Pavers... you. As for problems during the job 10 years ago, also not true. The problems only started when we called you about the repairs which again the contractor was going to pay for.

We recently had our home treated for termites and had a lot of wood damage that needed to be both replaced and repaired. I contacted Rene via telephone and he was able to come out the next day to look at the damaged areas. Later, via email, he sent me an itemized quote detailing the work that would be performed along with the payment structure based upon the proposed work process. I contacted several other contractors in order to perform a price comparison but one never got back to me and the other two never showed up for the scheduled appointment. I liked Rene from the start and so I decided to proceed with Creative Coating and take my chances. It was probably one of my best decisions in recent years! Both Rene and Juan (who did most of the actual work) were PHENOMENAL! The price was fair and the workmanship was OUTSTANDING. Their attention to detail is unbelievable and they saw and fixed things that I had never even noticed. In addition, Juan went beyond the call of duty and painted a door frame that I had neglected to finish painting on my own. He arrived early and cleaned up the area each and every day. He, like Rene, was very cordial, polite and respectful. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had with a contractor. We will soon be having them come back to power wash our house and make some additional repairs to the stucco. I've already referred Creative Coating to several family members and I am sure they will be just as pleased. We hired Genesis Stoneworks for a backyard remodel that was long overdue. Roger showed up for the…read moreestimate in the rain (I thought for sure he would reschedule) and gave us a quote that was very reasonable and affordable. He listened to the ideas we had for the design of the yard and gave some suggestions without being pushy. He met us at the store that sold the material and helped us choose the stone and color for the look we were trying to achieve. The work was done in a short amount of time without it being rushed through and in spite of the fact that we were newbie's at this and had ideas that didn't always work. We were so pleased with the end result that we immediately had the driveway and front walkway done as well as the area around the driveway pedestrian gate. Roger's reasonable price allowed us to complete that job as well and, like the backyard, was sorely needed. That job was also done in less than a week.
