Shaburina is our go to hot pot. Their broth is always so tasty, they have a free buffet, and their sauce buffet is elite! We have tried other places but we keep coming back to shaburina because the service is always amazing and the food is great. They have added tablets at every table to order food, drinks, or refills. It's super easy to use and definitely a game changer. Only sad part is they now serve ice cream in a disposable cup rather than a cone. I hope they were just out of cones and this isn't a permanent change.

There's many hot pot spots around Sea-Town but Shaburina stands out among the crowd! Great AYCE price point ($39.95 for their regular meat selection) and the quality of meat is bar none the best. Also love the assortment of fresh veggies and seafood and the sauce bar is excellent. The service is minimal since you can now do all the ordering on a table-side touchpad but the servers who do help were great. Still the great lively atmosphere and the interior is very clean. My only pitfall is they stopped giving you your comp soft serve in a cone but no biggie. Definitely can't wait to go back!

First time here!!! This was the most impressive dinner experience I've ever had. The place was full and yet we were seated within 10 minutes. The owner himself, Terrance, greeted us and explained how to order. The ordering system is sleek! Very easy to order and to get refills using the tablet at each table. The food and combination of flavors is exquisite, an adventure and just plain fun. From the first to the last bite my mouth was bursting was flavor!! The price is very good considering the high quality meats and buffet bar! The restaurant is clean and the seating is done very well. I felt like each table is private because of how well the space is used. We will definitely be back! This place will not disappoint!

My first Hot Pot experience ever. The restaurant was modern and clean . Each person can choose their broth from the menu. The popular one is the Original Konbu. I ordered the spicy Miso. Order meats thru the iPad and choose if you want the house or premium meats AYCE. We got the a House course. You can order beef or pork lean if you want. Then go to the vegetable bar buffet and noodle bar to make your selections. Lots of choices. Go to the sauce bar and create your own sauce for dipping after the ingredients are cooked. I recommend adding the fried garlic to your sauce. Your Meats are brought to you by the server and you can start dropping the ingredients in the cooking broth which smells so heavenly. Shabu Shabu is so delicious ....especially on a cold day. The only thing was that the rice was a little mushy for my liking. Definitely coming back!

This was pretty good. I appreciated the vegetarian option and the multiple veggie soup bases. The buffet style toppings works pretty well too. The soup pots are also personal sized which is nice with dietary restrictions or different tastes, but ultimately they are a bit small in size. The service was fine and it was a nice sized place for hotpot with lots of space at tables and good separation. The parking is under the building.

This place is outstanding, amazing service and everyone takes care of you so well. The owner is very personable and creates for an inviting place. Food is wonderful, tender fresh meat and everyone gets their own pots.

Stopped by for lunch with family and really enjoyed our food! Our Seattle family took us here because it's their fave. We went on a Sunday and it did take a while to get seated for a party of 5 during lunchtime. You order on the touchscreen device that's at the table. Because of this it did take a while to get the servers' attention and for extra stuff we ordered to come out. We got the all you can eat beef and it was good! I couldn't even order more because I could barely finish the first portion given. The original broth was pretty good, super flavorful when letting the beef fat sit in the broth. Meat was in the fatter and harder side unfortunately. The chef's choice sauce was surprisingly very good, I'm bro sure what it was but I enjoyed it. Overall, it was a fun experience to try shabu in another state. I enjoyed my food but have def had better shabu in California! I would come back though to have a good meal with my cousins!

It's been so long since I've been back but glad to see it kicking around and busy as usual now with touchscreens to facilitate the ordering!

We went for lunch and found complimentary parking in a nearby garage. We were seated right away and chose the all-you-can-eat hot pot option. Each table had a tablet for easy ordering -- from broth and meats. They also had sauce and food bar. The service was friendly and efficient, and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the soft serve machine was out of order at the end of our meal, so no ice cream this time. Still, a great experience as always! Don't forget to download the app to enjoy all kinds of perks.

This is my second visit to Shaburina, as recommended by a local friend. There is parking in the garage and you sinply walk outside to enter the restaurant. I really like this place, not only for the ambiance with their clean large space with hanging round lanterns, but also for the food. This round we came for lunch with an all you can eat special of $35 for the house lunch and a few other options. What especially impresses me is the bar where you can select your own veggies, noodles, seafood, sauces, etc. my favorites include the selection of different noodles and the scallops and clams. The meat is ordered at your table from your server and the still is very good about asking if you would like more and clearing plates as well as making sure your drink is never low. The meats are quality and thinly sliced, my favorite is the pork belly. Lastly, to top off your meal, they offer ice cream for dessert.

Shaburina is an excellent spot for a personalized shabu shabu experience! You get your own individual pot and it's all you can eat. For our broths we ordered the sukiyaki and the original kombu. For our meat selection we ordered the House, which includes beef shortplate, beef chuck, pork belly and pork shoulder. All of which tasted of good quality. Fyi, everyone in your party has to order the same level of meat! The staff were very prompt about getting you refills of the meat, and just very attentive overall by making sure your soup and waters are filled. They were also very friendly and made sure you were well taken care of overall. My favorite part about this place is the self serve toppings bar! They have a wide selection of vegetables, noodles, dumplings, fish cakes, sauces and more. Overall, it was a pleasant and interactive experience! Remember to ask for the icecream at the end of the meal!

Do they still do the birthday meat cake? I haven't been able to get them to answer the phone. Do we need over 6 people?

Yes , they have the meat cake. Yes, you do need a certain amount of people to receive it(I don't know the number) You also need to order in advance for the meat cake and make reservations for party over 6.

Are there any gulten free options for both broth and food?

Yes! They also have gluten free options for both the meat and the toppings bar (squash, corn, veggies, rice noodles, etc). Ask the servers for assistance when choosing if unsure.

What do you recommend for broth?

    I like the sukiyaki

Do they have individual pots or do you have to share?

Individual and you get to pick the broth

Is there an updated price on the AYCE?

Last month was $55 for the premium.

Do they offer the Togo option during the holidays like last year?

Is this a buffet hotpot place? What are the prices?

Most people go for the buffet option: Essentially it's a buffet for all hotpot ingredients (minus the broth (which you choose) and the meat (all you can eat but you just order from the wait staff).…

Hi if I am going with a friend who will only get the salad bar because of her dietary restrictions, while I get one of the buffet with meat, does she have to pay the same price for the meat option?

The entire table has to make the same choice. But, what you eat is up to you. Ie: you can order a particular type of meat and on person can choose to only eat the buffet items if they want (which is mainly vegetarian or pescatarian).

If you get the sukiyaki broth do they serve it with the raw egg?

No. I ordered it a few weeks ago

Is there a seafood platter we can get instead of meat. I know there is a buffet but do we have to order meat?

According to the menu they offer salad bar only option (which will include all of the seafood). But I'm not sure how that works if there are meat eaters in the group because the course selected has to apply to everyone in the table. i.e. you can't…

Is the one pot shabu shabu $28p/p? Are kids welcome?

Yes! Kids are welcome although you should keep an eye on them as your Shabu Shabu is always boiling. It's about $28 for the AYCE house course but a little more for the Kobe option

Is the meat all you can eat?

Yes There are several types & quality of meats you can pick and different price point

Is it possible to switch out the pork if you order a meat coarse?

Yes, you can get just the 2 beefs or any other cuts you want.

Is it possible to have a vegan meal, here?

    Yes.

Do they take reservations for large groups?

    Yes

    Any vegetarian options?

Plenty -- it's a buffet. I remember a lot of greens and tofu.

    How much is the buffet?

$28 for lunch $35 for dinner

I love Japanese curry, and was so stoked to see such a unique curry on the menu (made with dark chocolate so it gives a richer flavor). $5 more to add shredded cabbage and miso soup; I definitely think this is worth it because there's no other fresh greens in the entree. It helps cut the heavy, fried-ness of the katsu and provides a different texture. My shrimp (ebi) katsu curry was so flaky and crispy, which is so hard to find at katsu shops where the breading is cakey and falls off the protein. However, the shrimp to flakes ratio was off and I could hardly taste the shrimp or know when I bit shrimp versus the flakes because there was so much breading. This wasn't a problem for the pork katsu, though! The portion size is massive; half the plate is rice, and the other half is the curry. For $29 for the shrimp katsu ($34 total pre tax and tip after adding the shredded cabbage and miso soup combo), I think it's worth the price if you're starving or sharing. I think it'd be cool if they did a protein combo where you pick two proteins, especially because they have a variety of pork options. This would help people justify their cost while tasting more of the menu with less overwhelming commitment. Servers are kind and attentive, and they don't rush you when you order or need more time. The interior is beautiful and well-lit with bar seating, tables and booths, and high top tables too. I'd come again if I wanted to share a katsu entree with a friend!

Noodle Nine delivers a genuinely authentic dining experience that feels like stepping into a slice…read moreof everyday Asia rather than a polished, commercialized version of it. From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

We were reminded by the text system a day and an hour in advance, and since it's tucked away in a plaza in Redmond, it's got plenty of parking. The only issue you may have is not knowing where the door is, because there's no big sign - the towa sign next to the doorway is smaller than the window panel in the door. When you step in, you feel a sense of quiet and calm - because that's what it is. Nori Morita (of the I love sushi group in Bellevue) runs a music-less, authentic Japanese kaiseki experience here. There's 6 seats at the counter, and maybe about 10-12 seats in the surrounding tables. It's a small space but it doesn't feel cramped. There's one all-gender bathroom and one single-stall female bathroom at the very back. Service throughout the meal was generally polite, courteous, and proactive. My water glass and the missus' tea were never left below half. They cleared each course quickly as we finished it, and the meal pacing is such that Nori can keep up with you, even if he's making all six counter dishes and all 12 table dishes at once. It's kind of like a maestro orchestra, but he has plenty of helpers - at least two wait staff, and an additional one or two sous chefs that are handling the auxiliary things around him. Food: while the meal was overall satisfying and filling, there was no standout highlight, or any particular dish that disappointed. It wasn't "meh", but it didn't really wow either the missus or I. I'm sure it'll be forgettable in a few weeks, which is the main reason for 4 stars - it's a bit more pricey than I'd expect for something this high quality. It qualifies for top 10 Omakase / Kaiseki in Seattle by nature of having high end ingredients and baseline high service quality, but those are table stakes given the competition.. The Miyazaki A5 wagyu was genuinely a decent portion size, but given that I've had it before, I guess maybe I expected a deeper flavour profile? The dish that I enjoyed the novelty the most was the Shabu Shabu king salmon - being able to eat sashimi-grade King salmon that you dip into boiling hot soup was a fun treat that definitely elevated the fattiness in the taste profile. Drinks: besides water, the missus ordered the hot hojicha tea, and I got the seasonal sake flight for $39. It was a decent selection, but it was heavily overpriced for the quality of sake and the amount you got. At most I'd expect to pay $25 for four 2oz pours, especially since one overlaps with Ltd Edition (kokuryu - black dragon). Verdict: it's lower half of the top 10 in Seattle - but it's still worth going if you want to celebrate something with high quality service and ingredients. I personally probably wouldn't do the $250 version again, but I'd be interested in doing the other ones. We both enjoyed ourselves - but idk if it's worth $700 for two people (service charge of 20% is added, plus tax...), so take that for what you will. Fun coincidence: all three couples seated at the counter when we were there were celebrating an anniversary - 11th for the farther couple, and 18th for the couple next to us. So for what it's worth - this place is definitely a destination for those that want to celebrate something.

Upon arrival, a printed menu was waiting at our table listing each course, which I thought was a thoughtful touch. In a way, I know what we would be having that evening and able to take it home as a memory of the experience. I recommend Towa for a special occasion, celebration dinner, or anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in the area.
