Went to try out their recently introduced AYCE option. The good: meat quality is better than your typical AYCE hotpot place. The bad: Service is close to none even when they weren't crowded, we had to wave servers. Veggies aren't included in the AYCE and options in AYCE were quite limited.

Very good quality and portions. Servers were also very consistent in checking in and gave friendly service. We ordered on the iPad and everything arrived quickly. They do validate parking in the garage as well, but I was able to find a spot on the street right in front. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back here but it wouldn't be my first choice for hot pot, especially with other great options around in the area.

Came back for weekday all you can eat and it did not disappoint! You do need to pay for the soup base and sauce bar separately but such a good deal. Sauce bar this time had tripe appetizer which was delish. No ice cream tho light bc machine broken but we were still stuffed. Came out to be around $40 per person before tip. We will be back!

The meat was fresh and high quality, and there was a great variety of ingredients for the sides and sauces. The soup base was excellent and really flavorful. The self-serve bar was a great addition -- they had cold dishes for appetizers before the hot pot came out, along with dessert options like sweet bean soup and liangfen, which was a nice touch. Pricing was fair for the quality and selection you get. Overall, a great spot for hotpot and definitely worth coming back to.

Lovely place to get hot pot in Bellevue! Good service, what a great deal they have at the moment which is lunch 25.99 AYCE! The broth was good here which I was surprised! Highly recommend and would come back!

We decided to come here for Seattle Restaurant Week and was pleasantly surprised at how good value the food here is. We did the $35 menu which include congee hot pot, meat, fish, egg, fried dough, a dim sum plate, tofu sausage , and unlimited soy milk. This was a lot of food. We ended up bringing half of the pot home. My favorite thing was the fish, it was Soo soft. For the dim sum, we got the pork ribs and it was pretty standard. I also got an order of wonton soups and that was sooooo bland. I just put it into the hotpot to get some flavor. Service was ok. We had to flag the waiter down a few times to give us bowls, tell us the soy milk, and didn't really tell us anything about our hot pot. The unlimited soy milk was initially good since it was cold outside but eventually you pro just drink 1 cup since you will drinking the soup broth. Overall, the value was good, so I would come back

Wait for 2 hours for HaiDiLao or try something new? We opted for a new spot & were not too disappointed. Level of service is not exactly on par with HaiDiLao but it was still a new option for us. Their style was Chengdu hotpot- we opted for the tomato and mushroom base, wowwww the mushroom base was legit with tons of mushrooms. We also ordered lots of items, the sauce bar could... have been cleaner but you get all your sides and bingfen. The quality of meat and variety was also more diverse than HDL. We didn't get any aprons like HDL but it was still a good experience. Yum yum.

Just tried this place with my family on Christmas Eve after watching Snowflake Lane around 9pm! We were happy to see that they were still open. The overall ambiance is nice with delectable arrangements of vegetables and sauces for purchase. This is not an AYCE style hot pot. You order via a tablet for the soup, meats, vegetables, and anything else you want to add on. We also had some soju. We ordered half of the mushroom broth and half of the sour cabbage broth. Both were very yummy and good contrast of flavors to share with the family. We added one order of meat and one plate of vegetables (that I grabbed myself), as well as 2 orders of noodles. Surprisingly it filled up our party of 6 and the bill was about $100! I thought it was very reasonable. The service could've been a little more attentive since it was our first time but it was alright. Would definitely like to try it again.

Lao Ma Tou is YUMMMMM. We have a Lao Ma Tou in LA and this was just as good! I do feel that they have more 'exotic' dishes here compared to the menu in LA. We were tempted to get the Barbie combo lol. The interior is nice and not so busy here, even during prime dinner time. Meat quality is great and vegetables are fresh. I do like how they offer vanilla ice cream cone at the end of the meal! Wish they had that in LA haha.

The servers here are very nice and do a great job keeping the place clean. While we were there, we found the space to be really unique (it's under Soma Towers in a curved glass arm of the building). The restrooms were closed for maintenance so we actually had to go up to the apartment building to wash our hands. There is a split pot broth deal that brought two broths to ~$20. However, I just wasn't a fan of the pork bone or spicy (mild) broths. While there was a lot of fat in both broths, there wasn't enough umami to make up for how fatty the broths were. (My thought is generally if you eat something unhealthy, it should taste pretty good.) We found the quality of the meats and seafood to be split. The tiger prawns were amazingly fresh and not frozen, scallops were a unique treat, fresh noodles were good, peanuts at sauce bar were good, and the marbled beef to be pretty much on par with Haidilao. But we didn't like the mussels very much, the beef short rib was greying and didn't taste too good, the marinated woodear and cucumber weren't very fresh, and the dimsum shrimp roll was soggy and possibly frozen. The fish fillet wasn't as soft as hotpot fillet typically is, but is a bigger portion. La Ma Tou is a little pricier than other hotpot places where I prefer the taste more. But look at all the other positive reviews, mine is just one opinion!

The service was quick and staff are super friendly. They bring things out pretty quickly and help clear the table quickly. The food tasted great and everything was brought as ordered. If you like spicy then you'll really like this place. We got the spicy broth and picked the equivalent of a 3/5 and it was pretty spicy for even those of us who like spicy. They refill your brother when it gets low so it definitely helped lower the spice, but that's something to keep in mind when you go here! There's also dessert next to the sauce bar. Overall place was clean, well kept, and had enjoyable atmosphere for large groups. I would recommend trying this place if you want a slight change in pace from your other hot pot places!

Lao Ma Tou is a fun spot for spicy hot pot. Their broth is definitely on the very spicy scale. Pretty spacious space that is comparable to haidilao. Between the two though I feel Haidilao is more fun :,) We ordered ala carte style with variety of meat and veg. Food came out appearing pretty fresh! They also have a sauce bar with the typical variety and you can create your own sauce. Food came out promptly. You also get ice cream post meal which I think is pretty fun. Good backup spot if haidilao has a long wait :)

Lao Ma Tou Hotpot isn't just a meal - it's an experience. The moment you walk in, you're swept into a dreamy haze of lantern light and fragrant steam, like you've stepped into a Wong Kar Wai film but with better food and no existential crises. It's a playground for your taste buds, where you can create the perfect dipping sauce to complement your meal. Every bite is like discovering a new chapter in a delicious love story, and every visit to the sauce and snack bar is like a new love affair. And just when you think it can't get any better, they hit you with free ice cream at the end of the meal, and endless warm soy milk that feels like a cozy hug from the inside. Come for the hotpot, stay for the helpful staff, beautiful interior, and validated parking! Bathrooms are gender neutral private stalls, but located upstairs (not great for mobility).

First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that the prices are very LA, but before you let that deter you, hear me out: the portion sizes are significantly larger than what you'd get for the same price back home. So in terms of value, you're actually getting a much better deal out here in Redmond. One thing that genuinely caught me off guard; they let me bring my puppy. If you're from LA or the 626, you already know that's basically unheard of. Redmond, Washington is on a whole different level when it comes to being pet friendly, and I loved every second of it. As for the food, it was great overall. The mala wasn't too numbing, which I appreciated, it had just enough kick without overwhelming everything else. The garlic a-choy was perfect, honestly no notes. The braised pork belly was good but I wished it was a touch softer, and I personally felt like my dishes could've used a little more salt or soy sauce, but that's an easy fix and purely personal preference. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Lean-and-fat marbled pork is wok-fried to render aromatic lard, developing subtle caramelized sweetness. Dried deer antler mushrooms absorb meat gravy to deliver a distinctive springy, woody chewiness unique to this wild fungi. Whole garlic, spring onion and fresh red pepper introduce bright herbal and peppery accents, while restrained dark soy glaze unifies all components into a deeply umami-forward savory masterpiece, ideal pairing for plain steamed rice. Garlic stir-fried you mai cai is fresh and crisp! Savory garlic aroma, natural sweet vegetable taste, a healthy light side dish to go with rice and meat.

However, when both service and food exceed expectations, a restaurant becomes an industry benchmark. Service: The service here was truly, exceptionally outstanding. A friend brought me here today--he had only been to this restaurant once before--yet every single staff member remembered him, and even remembered what he had ordered last time! They were genuinely thrilled to see him return. The pacing of the dishes and the check-ins during the meal were both spot-on. Ambiance: A classic Cantonese restaurant atmosphere--full of character, dignified, and rich with Chinese design elements. The seating is comfortable, the restaurant is impeccably clean, and the management is clearly top-notch. Food: Great value for money, with very reasonable pricing. The fried rice was loaded with rich ingredients and seasoned to absolute perfection. The seafood tofu was mild in flavor and made with fresh ingredients--perfect for children. The green beans were fresh and had just the right level of spice. As one of China's Eight Great Culinary Traditions, Cantonese cuisine is defined by its freshness: fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, and fresh execution. Preparing Cantonese food is far more trouble than people realize; because of the complex preparation, strict standards for ingredients, and a low yield rate, true quality is hard to achieve. Since this restaurant is run entirely by a team of Cantonese chefs, I believe it is ultimately their passion that drives their success.

I really liked the filling in the football, which contained ground pork and mushrooms, not so much the flour for the outer layer. I also liked the tripe, pea tips, and chicken feet. They were delectable. Other than that, it seemed a bit plain. I didn't really like the chili oil they used, it was more like a sambal. I'm glad we ended with the mango pudding for dessert. The mold for it was so cute. Hopefully next time I come here they change up the chili used.

From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

This restaurant is mostly self service; there are two kiosks right in front for ordering and a table full of prefilled drink cups. I think the only upside to this restaurant is the free cups of mango tea, which are slightly sweetened and fruity. I wouldn't say they are very mango forward though. Hot Oil Biang Noodles ($13.99) - The biang biang noodles here aren't very good. They seem to be stretched somewhat, but then I feel like they take shortcuts. Instead of being almost completely stretched via bouncing the noodles on the table, they only stretch it probably half as much as normal, then they cut the dough lengthwise several times - this is why I can see multiple clear corner pieces in the noodle instead of it being relatively straight. They also don't care to make it consistent in thickness. This causes major issues because the thinner parts are soft and mushy while the thicker corners are doughy and slightly undercooked. I don't know how, but the noodles also clump together, so in some bites, I'm eating three strands of mushy noodles right on top of each other. The sauce here isn't much better. It's supposed to be aromatic, blistering hot oil mixed with chili/vinegar and aromatics poured directly on the noodles. The problems here are multifold. Firstly, they don't drain the noodles properly, resulting in an excessive amount of water diluting the sauce. Secondly, they use far too much vinegar, making the sauce overly acidic. The vinegar is by far the dominant flavor in the dish. While the dish seems like it will be spicy due to the red color oil, it's almost completely diluted out by the vinegar and noodle cooking water. The dish is basically not spicy at all due to these factors. (2/5) Spicy Cumin Lamb Biang Noodle Soup ($14.99) - This dish suffers from the same noodle issues as above, but the soup format improves some aspects slightly, but worsens other aspects. Since the soup is hot and the noodles are soaked in the broth, they soften more readily, so the soft portions are even more mushy than the "dry" noodle. The thicker portions are nice and bouncy though. The soup itself is relatively flavorful, slightly gamey, and tastes like it actually is a lamb bone broth, but it doesn't really have depth of flavor. Again, it's not really spicy at all. The lamb on top seems like thinly sliced hot pot lamb, pan fried until very dry. If not for the fact that the lamb is sliced thin, it would be extremely tough. It does have a nice fragrant cumin flavor though. (2/5) Those were the two worst bowls of noodles I've had in a long time. I wasn't particularly impressed with the noodles at the U District location of Xi'an Noodles either, but they were far better than these two steaming piles of excrement. Bathrooms - Two unisex room shared with Snowy Village. One was locked though
