Really enjoyed Jang Gogi! The flavors were great across the board, and one of the biggest standouts for me was the banchan. Everything we tried was well marinated, flavorful, and not overly salty. The meat quality was high. If you've been to Seoul Meat Co., I'd say the quality is pretty comparable, which is a good reference point. The ambiance was also a nice part of the experience, lively without feeling too chaotic, and it had a warm, inviting BBQ spot energy that made the meal feel even more enjoyable and social. What I liked most about Jang Gogi was the ability to break up all the richness from the meat. The cold noodles/ban chan were especially refreshing and worked really well as a palate cleanser between rounds of BBQ. The sushi also gives you another way to switch things up so the meal doesn't feel like nonstop meat the entire time. Service was quick, attentive, and kind throughout the meal. Overall, Jang Gogi does a really good job balancing flavorful meats with banchan, cold noodles, sushi, and other sides that keep the meal from feeling too heavy. I'd definitely come back.

Super friendly staff! Ambience is so much more open and bigger feeling than palace. Lots of variety of food. Good sides and flavors. I liked that there were sushi options to help mix up the flavor palette.

This is hands down the best AYCE Korean BBQ place in Washington! The quality of the meat speaks for itself, and all the side dishes were amazing. The soybean paste soup was seriously so good--it might even be better than my mom's! The sushi was also surprisingly high quality and tasted amazing!

Came here on a Friday evening around 630, and wasn't too busy- but we also made reservations! Meats came out quick to cook, and they were really good at changing the grill when it would start burning. You're able to order 3meats at a time. Would come again!

Came here while craving some kbbq after coming back from Korea. I saw they replaced palace bbq (which I also never tried). Came at 4pm when it was very empty, and they let me eat the kbbq alone. (Not recommended honestly, the portions are kind of large! So it meant I couldn't try as many meats.) The kimchi and pickles were pretty good. The meat was tasty, and the server helped cook it (he mentioned it was mostly if it wasn't too busy, it's not necessarily a given). I think the beef finger rib and the boneless rib were best, though I think the marinated versions tasted better than the non marinated ones in every instance. It was fun to order a random sushi roll (tasted nice), and I love getting more sauces (they had soybean paste)!

Great place to get both korean barbecue and sushi around Bellevue! The service was amazing, the quality of the meats was on point, everything was flavorful, and everything else that we ordered including the appetizers was also very tasty! Overall, I highly recommend and I would come back!

Recommend the signature set, the meat with the bone is my favorite. Ambiance is good and clean. K pop playing in the background, not super loud but loud enough to make your group feel comfortable speaking up a little. Ventilation is superb, probably the best of any Korean bbq in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking around and easy to get to. Quite pricey which is the norm around the area. Would come again for special occasions. Do wish they had coke zero instead of Pepsi zero though lol

    really good sides

Really clean and delicious. The server are really kind. The meat are also really fresh.

Excellent quality meat, fresh ingredients, and outstanding service. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and consistently delicious. Highly recommend for KBBQ lovers!

We checked out the soft opening of this new eastside Korean bbq and sushi spot. AYCE options offer different pricing for premium or signature, both offering sushi on the menus. The new owners and staff are so kind and thoughtful, a welcome energy to Korean dining. We can't wait to see how the business grows and we're honored to be a part of the soft opening this week!

As visitors from the Bay Area where there are a bunch of Korean restaurants, I can confidently say the food here is far better than your average Bay Area Korean restaurant. Between the four of us, we ordered a 12 half-and-half piece wing set, a seafood pancake, a tofu soup, and a beef bibimbap. Although food takes a long time to come out of the kitchen, the food is worth the wait! The seafood pancake was some of the best seafood pancake that I've had. The pancake had generous amounts of seafood in it and the crispiness could not be beat. Although the bibimbap comes in a large stone pot and is sizzling hot coming out of the kitchen, you unfortunately aren't able to extract any burnt rice from the bottom. Perhaps a little bit more oil is needed to achieve this? Despite this, it's still a really nicely constructed bibimbap bowl with a solid variety of vegetables. The chicken wings are crispy on the exterior and juicy on the interior. The wings are on the larger size, so once you get past the thin layer of crispy skin on the outside, I recommend dipping the wing back into the leftover sauce on the plate for more flavor. Last but not least, the tofu soup had a deep kimchi flavor, and was very mild in terms of spiciness. I thought the rice cakes included in the bowl were cooked perfectly and had a nice bounce to them. Overall, if you're looking for Korean food in this part of town, I don't think Danji Korean Cuisine can be beat.

The staff was efficient and friendly. We ordered the Katsu Ramen, Seafood Pajeon, and Galbi Soup. The Katsu Ramen came with instant noodles, which were different from Japanese ramen. I enjoyed the instant noodles as they had great flavor, but the katsu was a little hard and not crunchy. The Seafood Pajeon was excellent--it was crunchy and delicious. The Galbi Soup came with a lot of beef, but we found the galbi to be saltier than usual, and the beef might not have been as fresh. The seating was spacious. Parking was easy with street parking.

Bon is located in the same plaza as H-Mart and so they have a shared parking lot or you could walk over from Redmond Town Center which is just a block away. The inside is surprisingly large with at least twenty tables, which is bigger than most Korean restaurants that I've seen on the Eastside. At 11:45am on a Saturday, my group of three had no problem getting a table. Their menu is extensive and has all the Korean food classics including seafood pancake, soondubu (stone pot tofu soup), galbi jjim (beef stew), Toppokki, bibimbap, and cold noodles (spicy and non-spicy versions). Their entrees are around $20 each, but some larger hot pot dishes (meant for 2-3 people) can be up to $70. I ordered the BULGOGI BIBIMBAP (~$24). Unfortunately they don't serve stone pot Bibimbap here, but the portions are large and beautifully presented. My dish came with plenty of fresh vegetables- pickled carrots and cucumbers, sesame bean sprouts, daikon kimchi, lettuce, and marinated black mushrooms (which I've never had in Bibimbap before but was soooo good) on top a bed of fluffy white rice! The egg was cooked perfectly over easy and the meat was marinated well too- I do wish the dish came with more meat though. They give you your typical sweet and spicy gochujang red sauce on the side as well as white vinegar and mustard sauce for added flavor. Service was fantastic and you get complimentary hot tea and ban chan (which are refillable). The ban chan included cucumber kimchi, daikon kimchi, sesame bean sprouts, kimchi, fish cake, and sesame choy. All employees were very friendly and made you feel at home. The inside is clean, but the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is that they have an Okay health rating and not a Good or Excellent health rating. I didn't look up the exact violations, but it would be great to see an improvement in score. Overall: 4/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere

Their menu may not have an all-you-can-eat option, however the serving portions and variety are more than enough. This KBBQ is located in the Redmond Town Center. We opted for the small mix combo which had the prime ribeye, beef brisket, king prime short ribs, la seasoned ribs, beef tail flap, pork belly, pork jowl, pork shoulder, and seasoned boneless short ribs. We also ordered a bottle of soju to share. The meats were beautifully presented. They also served an array of banchans including onion salad and lettuce. Service was amazing. Our server always checked in and offered to change our grill pan. Pricing was on par for the meat quality and amount that came with our order. We even ended up with a couple to-go boxes.
