I didn't know that Spicy beef tongue was a cold dish. It wasn't bad though.

I wanted to try a restaurant that I haven't tried yet, so we decided to try this one. This place must taste authentic because everyone was speaking mandarin including the staff. Ambience- 3/5. A family friendly restaurant. Service- 4/5. Staff is friendly and nice. Food - 4/5. We liked everything we ordered. The least favorite was their spicy beef tongue, but it didn't taste bad. We can't wait to come back and try other dishes!

Missus and I came here around 11pm on a Saturday night cuz this place was open late;, the parking lot in the "adjacent" (connected?) plaza is usually enough spots for cars, especially if you go late. Order via qr code. Lots of beef, pork, lamb, and chicken options. I'm a bit miffed the beer glass they gave me was warm (bordering on hot?) but the beer was cold - so unless I drank it out of the bottle (and look like a weirdo), I'd have a warm beer instead of a cold one. Besides that, the skewers were decent, both in value and quality. The first round came out fast, the second... Less so. Service is definitely up and down because of how few staff there are at night. The ambiance is whatever the TV mounted above the window to the road is playing. It went from jj lin to BLACKPINK back to another Chinese artist I don't know. On one side wall it's basketball, on the opposite wall it's jeopardy. The decor overall reminds me of Chinese BBQ places, and it's no wonder - all of the convos I hear around me are people almost shouting loudly in Chinese.

a really good place with an authentic vibe--felt like we were the only non-Chinese group there. the food is great overall, everything has just the right level of spicy and flavorful, not too much but not bland either. The skewers were cooked perfectly, and the garlic seasoning was just the right amount. The chicken feet were also really good. Customer service was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Ordering on the QR code was easy, and the skewers all tasted great. However, by the time we finished our food we noticed that the only things that have not come out were our squid skewers. We were pretty full at this point so we asked our staff about the squid, and if we can just cancel it. It was strange that it had not come out by this time because we were already at the end of the meal and everything else had arrived in a timely manner, even after ordering two rounds of food. The staff were actually pretty pushy about not cancelling the order, but we just could not eat any more food. I was pretty disappointed because I was actually excited to try the squid, which is one of my favorite items.

Great spot for skewers and drinks! A spacious restaurant with a parking lot and street parking. The skewers were flavorful and meat was tender. A bit on the pricey side but pretty comparable to other skewer places in Seattle. Definitely try the lamb and chicken gizzards. The spicy fish was good too but I wish it had more veggies in the dish for $50.

Came over for dinner on a summer weekday. Not much parking. Side street parking. If you are able to walk further, park across the street at the mall and walk over. We ordered eight items. Six various protein skewers items and jellyfish salad with golden noodles and vegetable and of course..rice. The protein skewers came out quickly. The only thing was they came out so quickly that we had a hard time figuring out what protein we were eating. All skewers were the same. It wasn't colored for certain protein. Yes ..grilled squid was easy to figure out. The proteins we ordered were: grilled lamb, grilled pork belly, premium beef rib fingers, grilled beef ribeye, grilled bacon enoki mushrooms and grilled squid. There is a warming tray on each table. By the time they placed the skewers on it, it was either hot or tepid for skewers. Server came out with the skewers out from back. Not on a plate to be presented to your table. The Jellyfish Salad was something I will recommend. Great for hot summer evening. It was cold and delicious to eat. Especially after eating tepid protein skewers. Order of rice came out last. And we had to remind them.

Fun place for skewers, while most of it was delicious, there was a distinct taste of propane for the skewers we got in the second half of the meal. Loved the cauliflower and the pork belly. Food came out pretty quick too which was nice.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! Service is fast and friendly. Prices are pretty reasonable for eastside. The skewers are flavorful and tasty. We also got the grilled eggplant and century egg tofu- both were delicious. I also love that they have mixed drinks- the pomelo grape drink was soooo yummy and went well with the skewers. Definitely coming back regularly!

Love the addition of Chinese BBQ skewers to Bellevue! I came here with a fairly large party (8 or 9 people) on a Saturday night, and we were able to get seated immediately, though we did call ahead so that they were able to reserve a table for us - I would recommend doing this for large parties as they do get pretty busy). Ordering is done through phone + QR code, and we ended up ordering a pretty large variety of different skewers. I enjoyed the lamb and beef skewers, as well as the grilled eggplant, but after a while everything ends up tasting the same due to the cumin. It would also be nice if each skewer had bigger pieces of meat, our bill racked up quite a bit but none of us left feeling that full. Staff was overall okay, but we didn't receive some of our ordered skewers and some of the staff that was handing out the skewers seemed pretty confused when we were trying to explain the situation to them. Communication is easier if you speak Mandarin. Location is convenient, next to Crossroads mall (where Dough Zone used to be). Overall I liked the food and concept but I think you could get better bang for your buck elsewhere.

I really wanted to like this place a lot more than I did when I went, but probably because it was quite busy... and then it wasn't. I went here with two other friends on a Friday night around 7pm and had to wait for a bit because it was packed inside. Speaking of the inside, it's brightly lit and has a very apparent smell of lamb once you enter. When you get seated, you order using a QR code and place whatever orders you want. Most of the dishes consisted of meat skewers but there were a sizable number of other dishes, some of which we got. We did place our order and for some reason the first time around our order didn't go through, and it took servers a while to figure out what happened, and they asked us to input our order in again. When we did and it finally went through on their system, our food still took a long time to come, and we were in a rush to get to a movie we already got tickets for. Even after some attempts to ask the servers to get our food quickly (combined with the place not being packed anymore by the time we got our order in), we paid only for what we got and didn't get everything we ordered in the end. Needless to say, service was lacking here. As for the food, wow was it flavorful all the way through! So much so that it probably redeemed the poor service we got. - For skewers, we got grilling wings, throat cartilage, lamb, pork belly, beef ribeye, chicken crispy bones, beef tongue, chicken heart and chicken gizzard skewers. Most if not all of these skewers came in sets of 4 (chicken heart and gizzard had 2, and grilling wings was only 1), and were packed with pepper and some spice. All of these were the highlights of our meal. - The baked clams with vermicelli was a great addition for our table, though it was small in size and there was some sand in some of them. Not much meat in them either. - The garlic eggplant was also kinda small yet it tasted the same way as the skewers themselves; great and full of flavor. Probably to sum things up, the skewers are by far the best part, and other dishes didn't stack up to it. Solely because of this, I wanna come back when I'm not in a rush to try their stuff again.

You can smell the spices as soon as you walk in. All the servers and staff were very friendly. The skewers were tasty, with tender meat and a great variety of options. I really enjoyed the stir-fried clams and highly recommend them.

    - Amazing skewers at a higher cost - Food: 5 stars Service: 3 stars Price: 3 stars Ambiance: 3 stars Overall: 3.5 stars I hesitated to try this place because I've seen the menu and I thought it was quite pricy in my standard. However, it was the only place that opened late when we needed to eat out with our friends, so we tried it out. It was Saturday night around 8pm, but they were quite packed (around 70%). We got our seats right away and they gave us the small tea cups for the water (water bottle was already on the table). We ordered a bunch of stuff since we had a special coupon from Asian Family Market for their Lunar New Year celebration. Here are the list of things that we ordered: - Grilled beef tongue 烤牛舌 $2.99/skewer - Grilled Beef ribeye skewer 烤肋眼牛肉串 $3.49/skewer - Grilled lamb skewer 烤羊肉串 $1.99/skewer - Grilled pork belly 烤五花肉串 $1.99/skewer - Grilled chicken gizzards 烤雞胗 $2.49/skewer - Grilled sausage 烤火腿腸 $2.99/skewer - Grilled scallop 烤帶子(扇貝) $2.99/skewer - Grilled cauliflower 烤花菜 $1.99/skewer - Grilled mushrooms 烤蘑菇 $1.66/skewer - Grilled garlic eggplant 烤蒜泥茄子 $8.99 - Baked clams with vermicelli in tin foil 錫紙花甲粉 $14.99. All of the food was delicious, but the beef tongue was especially good. The beef ribeye was a bit dry for me, so I'd recommend getting the lamb instead (both original and marinated were good). The last two dishes were bigger, but they were delicious as well. The baked clams were a bit spicy with tons of chili peppers. We didn't order any starch, and we were probably about 80% full when we left. I'd recommend ordering the grilled bread so you can be more full. The downside of this place is that they speak mostly Chinese and they were reluctant to tell us what the skewers are until I asked them. I'm not sure how it'd be for people who don't speak chinese, but I do see a group of non-Chinese speakers dining there. I'd come back here again for other social events in the future!

Ordering is done via your phone. Once you send your order, they will print a receipt and mark off items as they come out. The skewers are then placed on a warming plate at your table. The food was fresh and tasteful. Nothing comes out tongue burning hot. I don't want to get burned but wonder why it's not really hot is it came off the grill. The wait staff was nice and brought out the food quickly. They would speak Chinese to me even though I told them I don't speak Chinese. We enjoyed the clams with noodles the most. It was very garlicky and had a bit of spice. The skewers all had the same seasoning of cumin and a bit of spice. I think i would have preferred different flavor profiles to choose from. The restaurant was clean and did the job.

Opening weekend- we got to pull free random dishes from a raffle box!

First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that the prices are very LA, but before you let that deter you, hear me out: the portion sizes are significantly larger than what you'd get for the same price back home. So in terms of value, you're actually getting a much better deal out here in Redmond. One thing that genuinely caught me off guard; they let me bring my puppy. If you're from LA or the 626, you already know that's basically unheard of. Redmond, Washington is on a whole different level when it comes to being pet friendly, and I loved every second of it. As for the food, it was great overall. The mala wasn't too numbing, which I appreciated, it had just enough kick without overwhelming everything else. The garlic a-choy was perfect, honestly no notes. The braised pork belly was good but I wished it was a touch softer, and I personally felt like my dishes could've used a little more salt or soy sauce, but that's an easy fix and purely personal preference. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

A lot of dim sum restaurants automatically serve tea and add it to the bill without asking, so I like the transparency here. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. My favorites are the shrimp shumai and sticky rice, but I've enjoyed everything I've tried. Luckily, we were able to find a spot right out front, so I'd recommend slowly circling around and keeping an eye out for people leaving. I found this spot through Yelp and had been really craving good Chinese food, so I was super excited to finally try it. My family and I came without a reservation and were seated immediately, even though the restaurant was very busy. This place is definitely known for larger parties, there were lots of families and extended families dining together, which really gave it a classic family-style vibe. You order a bunch of dishes and share a little bit of everything, which I love. The staff were really friendly and greeted us right away with complimentary tea. Fun fact: in the mornings, tea is sometimes an extra charge, but in the evening it's free. We ordered a few dishes, including the honey walnut shrimp (which is my go-to order at any Asian restaurant), salt and pepper squid, house special vermicelli noodles, and Chinese broccoli. The vermicelli was a clear noodle dish loaded with different proteins like BBQ pork, squid, and shrimp. Everything had great flavor, but my absolute favorite was definitely the honey walnut shrimp. It was perfectly crispy and delicious. My only complaint is the portion size for the price, it was about $21 for roughly 10 pieces of shrimp, which felt pretty expensive. Overall, the portions were on the smaller side for what you're paying. Toward the end of the meal, they treated us to a complimentary papaya soup, which was a light, fruit-based dessert soup and a really nice way to finish. Our total came out to about $80, so it's definitely on the pricier side for Chinese food. That said, the food was delicious, the service was great, and if you're in the Bellevue area, I'd still recommend stopping by.

From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

The beef noodle has a good kick but not overwhelming, you can still taste the flavorful beef broth. The noodles had a great chew. The kids had the pork noodles and that was also very delicious. 2 self ordering kiosks, most items had pictures which makes it easier to order. The gentleman behind the counter was really nice and helped me answer some questions regarding the menu. The space is nice and clean, shares the bathroom with Snowy Village. They also had homemade peach tea which was complimentary! Overall amazing experience. Kid friendly with kid bowls.

Xi'an Noodles seemed like a promising place for biang biang noodles in Bellevue. We went in for a…read moreweekend lunch, only to be terribly disappointed. This restaurant is mostly self service; there are two kiosks right in front for ordering and a table full of prefilled drink cups. I think the only upside to this restaurant is the free cups of mango tea, which are slightly sweetened and fruity. I wouldn't say they are very mango forward though. Hot Oil Biang Noodles ($13.99) - The biang biang noodles here aren't very good. They seem to be stretched somewhat, but then I feel like they take shortcuts. Instead of being almost completely stretched via bouncing the noodles on the table, they only stretch it probably half as much as normal, then they cut the dough lengthwise several times - this is why I can see multiple clear corner pieces in the noodle instead of it being relatively straight. They also don't care to make it consistent in thickness. This causes major issues because the thinner parts are soft and mushy while the thicker corners are doughy and slightly undercooked. I don't know how, but the noodles also clump together, so in some bites, I'm eating three strands of mushy noodles right on top of each other. The sauce here isn't much better. It's supposed to be aromatic, blistering hot oil mixed with chili/vinegar and aromatics poured directly on the noodles. The problems here are multifold. Firstly, they don't drain the noodles properly, resulting in an excessive amount of water diluting the sauce. Secondly, they use far too much vinegar, making the sauce overly acidic. The vinegar is by far the dominant flavor in the dish. While the dish seems like it will be spicy due to the red color oil, it's almost completely diluted out by the vinegar and noodle cooking water. The dish is basically not spicy at all due to these factors. (2/5) Spicy Cumin Lamb Biang Noodle Soup ($14.99) - This dish suffers from the same noodle issues as above, but the soup format improves some aspects slightly, but worsens other aspects. Since the soup is hot and the noodles are soaked in the broth, they soften more readily, so the soft portions are even more mushy than the "dry" noodle. The thicker portions are nice and bouncy though. The soup itself is relatively flavorful, slightly gamey, and tastes like it actually is a lamb bone broth, but it doesn't really have depth of flavor. Again, it's not really spicy at all. The lamb on top seems like thinly sliced hot pot lamb, pan fried until very dry. If not for the fact that the lamb is sliced thin, it would be extremely tough. It does have a nice fragrant cumin flavor though. (2/5) Those were the two worst bowls of noodles I've had in a long time. I wasn't particularly impressed with the noodles at the U District location of Xi'an Noodles either, but they were far better than these two steaming piles of excrement. Bathrooms - Two unisex room shared with Snowy Village. One was locked though
