Great little course tucked into a neighborhood leaving not much room for error. Staff were friendly, prices great. Would golf here again. 4 stars for delays for slow play groups ahead of us. Skipped last hole due to limited visibility after sun set. Would be helpful to have a Marshall swing through to manage.

Some long puts, beautiful greens, no windmills.

Played the 18 hole putting green... It was so much fun. My wife & I laughed a cursed & thoroughly had the golf experience without being out all day. The last hole was like a 'Tin Cup' hole... You could take a hundred shots at it without sinking it. So much fun! We'll be back!

Fabulous course! Golfed here prior to all the upgrades and new ownership. What an amazing difference. Course was in pristine condition! Tough greens. Staff are also top notch. Felt like we were in a resort course with the amazing staff and customer service. A special thanks to Julian who welcomed us in and Bruce the starter.

Golf moose voucher $200 foursome. This course is very old. As a matter of fact there's a sign boasting it's historic. That can be said of the type of golfer too - super senior population. The golf course is nestled in the older section of Palm Springs. The adjacent homes look very dated. If not for the value deal I'm not sure we would have played here. Fairways were brown. Greens somewhat lumpy. The course needs work. Plus the holes run in parallel. Very narrow. It appears renovations are going on. The pro shop is in a trailer. The tiki looking bathroom looks half finished. No toilet paper holders installed yet. The starter was friendly. The other players nice. But once was good enough for us.

First time here, signed up to play 9 since it was one of few that offered it in palm desert but we had such a nice time decided to stay for 18. Shorter course but very well maintained. Bunkers have actual sand and not packed dirt. Tight fairways and some challening holes but overall a reasonable level of difficulty. Pace of play excellent. Scenic mountain views. Not the lowest of the low in terms of cost but priced very well considering these factors compared to other places. The staff and other golfers were all extraordinarily nice. We'll be back!

Fun little short course centrally located in Palm Desert. Old school golf with beautiful mountain views and a friendly staff. Well maintained and fun design.

This is the most under noticed best place to drink and dine. The chicken piccata is the best in the desert, order it with the pasta:)

Fun course to play. Good place to play if you don't play golf regularly. Greens are in great shape. Fairways are ok.

The course itself is demanding, lots of waste areas that you need to avoid. The conditions were good the day we played. The greens were excellent. I think that the clubhouse is under construction, along with other improvements. They were serving lunch and breakfast. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito. I would definitely come back and see how it develops.

We understood that we had to split into groups of four and three, and we did exactly that. At the first tee, we all hit our tee shots around the same time. Instead of politely reminding us of the course policy, the starter walked over very aggressively, began raising his voice, and repeatedly told us we needed to stay separated. He then started speaking in Spanish, which not everyone in our group understood, and kept asking us, "Do you understand?" in a very confrontational manner. We remained calm and respectful the entire time, but the way we were treated was completely unnecessary. Throughout the round, it felt like we were being followed and watched. The group of four ahead of us would occasionally slow down, so our group of three would catch up to say hello. Other times, we'd briefly gather at a tee box while waiting for the fairway to clear. We were never holding up play. In fact, when we noticed groups behind us, we even skipped holes at times to keep the pace moving. Despite this, the marshal repeatedly came over and aggressively told us to separate. Every interaction felt hostile rather than helpful. The final incident was the most disappointing. On the last hole, the course was nearly empty because of the heat. There was no one behind us, and we weren't delaying anyone. Yet the marshal drove up again, yelling that this was the "third time" he had warned us about being together. There was simply no reason for that level of aggression. I've played many golf courses over the years, and I've never experienced staff behaving this way. Course policies are understandable, but they should be enforced with professionalism and respect. Unfortunately, the treatment we received from both the starter and the marshal completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable day with friends. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend SilverRock Golf Course.
