This is one of the worst golf course I've ever played I've been playing golf 40 years I've never experienced what I experienced there at that Golf Course we were trying to speed up play so we didn't go through the gates a homeowner board member or whatever came and said you guys need to go through the gate the and there were behind us pushing us as well they I went to wash the ball before I teed off they have no ball washes there's no ball washes on a the golf carts this I play disc golf course twice and both times I've had really bad experience read more

Heritage Palms Golf Club - Golf Near Me - Indio, California

Heritage Palms is a lovely facility with a gorgeous view of the mountains. However, the staff needs customer service training. First their banquet manager was rude and unworkable, then the next banquet manager quit the day of our biggest event of the season. When I arrived nothing was set up as requested making it a very stressful start to the day. The frosting on the cake was that management raise our price 87% from May 2025 to October 2025 from $35 for lunch to $65 a person. I would not recommend Heritage Palms for your event. read more

We live here at Heritage Palms country club and the food is better than it used to be. Although the new happy hour menu leaves a little bit desired I hear it's changing. They are building an outdoor hotdog hamburger bar for the golfers who can get something to eat when they finish nine will be very helpful. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with a beautiful view of the driving range and the sunset. read more

Played golf on Sunday at Heritage Palms golf course. The course is really well-maintained and the customer service in the golf shop was spectacular. One of the pros that there name is Danelle very nice lady and another one is Moises customer services always exceptional there I'm looking forward to coming back and playing again. read more

One of my buddies and I decided to break away from our group outing to take in a round of golf. Four days of drinking needed an intermission of sorts. He found this place online and they were offering an 8:30am tee-off, $55 round, cart included and a promise of a sub four hour round. What we did not know was that this is course is located in a retirement community and nearly all of the players are elderly residents. It was a hilarious scene since it was shotgun start with 120 residents, and us, making our way to our openings holes. We were paired up with an 89 year old gentleman who hits his driver 140 yards and still kicked our asses all over the course. "OK, big hitters, I'll meet you young guys at the green in three strokes." It's actually a very nice course in immaculate condition with perfect greens and lush fairways. Wide hitting areas, a little water and sand and 5 sets of tees. We had a great time. read more

A bit awkward as we did not have a member with us....who knew, golf course is public but not so food. Server patiently explained but didnt throw us out . Sunday buffet is excellent and for under $20 you have a full range of omelets, pancakes, fruit, etc. Highly recommend if you know someone who is a member. read more

Our good friends who are owner invited us to play at their home course. Our golfing at this beautiful course last Friday was the best experience ever. The course's pristine, immaculately-kept condition is a testament to a great groundskeeping crew, ownership pride and civic minded players diligently mending every divot to maintain its tiptop shape. On this lazy afternoon with a nice breeze, the heat was not too menacing. We practically had this course to ourselves. Being owners, our low handicapped play partners' familiarity with every hole and their patient coaching and pointers really helped lift our game and enjoyment. This Arthur Hill course was open and accommodating. Even the green side bunker and water hazard were not overly intimidating. We loved the classy set up here with strategically located stops for self-service hydration (ice machine, water and cups) as well as clean restrooms. An excellent golfing experience. read more

Heritage Palms Golf Club - 75th birthday. - Golf Near Me - Indio, California

I attended a political function at this club on May 20, 2018 and ordered two cockails. As I was caught up in the festivities I failed to notice that a "gratuity" was added and then taxed. A gratuity by definition is a gift not a fee and should be given for exceptional service. It is not the policy of most establishments in this area to include a tip on the chit. As a former cocktail server, food waitress and bartender, I find this policy unfair as I paid an additional tip without realizing it was already included. I emailed two club managers and as of this date my concerns have not been addressed. read more

UPDATE - Its nice to be able to re-review a place or business and I'm happy to report that Heritage Palms has really done a 180. They are trying and being helpful in keeping the community open and diverse. Since my last review there was a time the community and it's management was very closed, selfish and not concerned with the environment. Since the last review they have brought themselves into the 21st Century and have made strides to be more flexible and look into other options when it comes to the membership and residents. Out of all the gated communities we have friends living in, here in the desert our HOA is the envy of most. Their ease to do work, landscaping and taking complaints seriously has made a positive effect within our community. Our security head, Kirk, is on top of everything and his suggestions and ideas have made us even more secure and safe. I like that our HOA and employees of Heritage Palms are employed by the club and not out sourced like other communities such as Trilogy 1. The only reason HP fell short of 5 stars is their slow movement of accepting that baby boomers are now becoming HP's new community and that unfortunately the older seniors are passing on and slow in making changes to accommodate the needs of the baby boomers. I do wish they would take more ideas and suggestions from the baby boomers and realize the world does change and it is unfortunate their a little reluctant at times to make these changes to accommodate not only the current "older" generation and also be progressive to move forward with the next generation and promote us, Heritage Palms, as a much more progressive community. Love to have hiking trail expeditions, wine tasting, cooking classes, etc as some of the other communities do such as Trilogy 2. Hopeful we have moved and opened the communities eyes to some new ideas and with time management will also follow and start to accommodate more of the next generation. Besides that small flaw, if you can call it that, Heritage Palms is a top notch community to live in, make long lasting friendships and has a well kept and good course for golf. If your looking for a second home or permanent home, HP is convienent to markets, stores and banks making it a perfect location for reasonable home prices in a gated, secure and open environment. read more
