We went to Shadowland for a friend's birthday party today, and it was AWESOME. It was even MORE AWESOME than the Panther Family Laser Tag place in Dulles where we had my son's birthday party back in June. Like the Panther place, Shadowland has private party rooms and they assign a hostess to take care of you. Our hostess took excellent care of us, ushering us back and forth to the laser tag arena, serving our drinks, pizza, and cake. Like Panther, they also provide unlimited drink refills. Here's what I liked about Shadowland that was better than Panther: - You get to choose your nickname for the score-sheets. They assign you a jacket number, and you use the same jacket number each time you play. They match your assigned jacket number up to your chosen nickname. So if you know the names of the rest of your party, you can see on your gun when you have hit or been hit by someone else. (Panther just gives you random jackets and names, and you have to memorize the generic nickname that was on the laser pistol for each game you played.) - They had these things called "gems" high up on the wall that you could hit for power-ups like machine-gun fire, mega-power, invincibility, invisibility (turns off the lights on your jacket and makes it nearly impossible for people to see you). - During the game, you can see on your laser pistol's display how many shots you've fired, how many hits you have, how many credits you've earned (for using on the power ups), and what your ranking is. When we finished with the laser tag, pizza, and cake, I was composing my Yelp review in my mind and was totally going to give it 5-stars. Then my kids went to the arcade area. At first, I was pretty impressed. It's much bigger than the Panther place. My initial positive reaction quickly wore off though. To say the arcade at Shadowland is LAME is an incredible understatement. The arcade is SO LAME (cue sound bite, "How lame is it?") - it's SO LAME that it actually added NEGATIVE value to our experience, left us with a disappointed slump in our shoulders as we headed out to the car to go home. Oh, and it cost them that 5th star. Most of the "games" in the arcade are those cheesy rip-offs that try to get you to aim a token at a narrow opening for the chance to "win big" and unleash some avalanche of tokens. They're essentially little hopeless-gambler-in-training devices. The few games that aren't that type of "win big" scam were mainly shooting games. My boys tried playing a Star Trek game and it lasted all of about 60 seconds for two tokens (50 cents). Can you say RIP-OFF??? The ONLY games in there that were worth the tokens were the TWO skill-ball games. Unfortunately, they give tickets for rewards that you can supposedly trade in for goodies at the counter. It was your typical racket where 50 tickets gets you a 10 cent eraser or cheap plastic toy that would have cost 25 cents in a bubble gum type vending machine. Both my boys left dejected that their nine tickets didn't get them anything at the counter. So, in summary, AWESOME time in the laser tag and party rooms - HIGHLY recommend it. Caveat: Don't let your kids anywhere near the mega-lame arcade. read more

I some had fun, but My pack didn't work for the first game of three. I lost somewhere between half and a third of the game. I asked for my money back on the game, as obviously that meant my score sucked, and the experience was not great. Manager Kyle: "No refunds." I said that was not acceptable and he quickly gave me a refund. I felt my pack / gun wasn't working well for the rest of the time, but perhaps that is my imagination. Kyle had even said "if it continues to not work perfectly, there will be no more refunds." I thought that was a really bad position to take, but whatever, not my business. The high school staff member who was marshaling our game was showing a lot of angst, but he will remember this job for the rest of his life, so might as well have fun with it. Also, some people trying to use the groupon were denied by Kyle because it wasn't printed. That's ridiculous. You can click redeemed. I won't return. read more

This review is for the birthday parties. I called in February to reserve the place for my daughter's birthday. First problem is that it took me 3 days to make the reservation. There's only one person there who does reservations and whenever I called, she wasn't there and doesn't return messages. You have to call over and over and over until she's there and takes your call. I felt very rushed and unhelped the entire time I was there. We got no help from any of the staff with anything as far as the party itself. The room we were given was very small and we had no room to put the food or cake. We were allowed only 10 minutes for eating pizza between the two games, which was not enough time to serve pizza and drinks to 10 screaming kids and give them time to eat. Again we were not given any help with anything, not even getting the drinks. Then after the second game, we were given 10 minutes to have the cake and open the presents and we were told that we had to leave. As for the game itself, I asked if my daughter could be on my team but I was told that the computer picks the teams. My daughter and I were put on separate teams. I asked if they could fix it and they said no. My daughter was very annoyed at not being on my team. There is no reason they couldn't have fixed it. I refuse to believe that they have no control over the team assignments. The party for 10 kids cost around $275. I consider that excessive, especially considering how rushed we were and how we got no help with anything. That comes out to $27.50 per kid. They did not provide any food and only provided drinks and cups. I don't think my Bar Mitzvah even cost that much per person. read more

Great fun spot for the kids. Our kiddo is a little too young for laser tag, so can't speak to that. We played the black light mini golf, it was a slow day so we had an awesome time and he was able to enjoy the course without us playing through to fast. The arcade is alright, lots of games where you can earn tickets (virtual, related to your card) and cash them in for rewards. I like the card payment system over coins. While coins would be classic, the card is sooo much easier to handle. Had one minor issue with an electronic reward not showing up, the attendant handled it, no problem. This was THE ABSOLUTE WORST experience ever! The bathrooms are disgusting the customer service is even worst and the staff person was super rude to me and my sons guests for his birthday! OMG - we went to Shadowland and had a blast playing laser tag. We were there on a Friday night and it was sad to see that no one was there. However, we had a party of 15 so had a blast playing tag. Their laser tag arena has two levels plus it has obstacles that can zap points away from you or if you get it in time can give you special powers. In addition they give each play are play sheet that reviews their performance. The arcade area was dated, but was still fun. read more

We went to shadowlands as a group of around 20, (we're all in our early/mid twenties). For $25 each, we got our own party room, unlimited drinks, and 3 rounds of laser tag. We also had the arena all to ourselves (which meant we didn't have to deal with aggressive pre-teens with Starship Trooper fantasies)... The laser tag arena was lots of fun -- two levels, lots of hiding places, and plenty of space. The powerups were also an interesting twist to the gameplay. Nicknames and performance reviews (individualized sheets tracking stats) after each game were much more detailed than i was expecting, and we had a lot of fun mocking each other and our atrocious accuracy ratings. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, We're not the easiest group to deal with, and they were patient and flexible when it came to our requests. Best part of the evening? When our hostess came in and presented the awards for best and worst player in our group... Note: Didn't feel the need to mention the arcade. We came here specifically for laser tag -- nothing else, and this review reflects that alone. read more

Spent a Saturday afternoon reliving my childhood with a group of 5. We decided to go with the 2 adventures options: laser tag and glow golf. For laser tag the options were: play as a team or solo. Since we were in a room full of competitive individuals, we opted for solo. At the end, you receive a score sheet letting you know your final score and how you did in comparison to everyone else. For glow golf, you complete rounds increasing in level of difficulty. Overall, we had a great experience. read more

I'm only basing this review as a mom who walked in on a Friday night with a handful of preteen girls, celebrating my daughter's 12th birthday. The only reason I didn't play is because I didn't want to lose our table and chairs. The place seemed like it was run by only 2 people and a helper, but they were organized and very friendly. One staff member in particular stood out for remaining calm among chaos, quickly addressing any problems that came up and keeping the place clean. I definitely plan on coming back (and playing) because the kids really enjoyed themselves and had a blast. It's worth coming on a Friday night because it's unlimited play for a little more than the usual price of just one game on any other night. read more

My nieces and I visited Shadowland one night and we had a lot of fun. Enjoyable and good cardio. The more the merrier. Our theme was Zombie and we really enjoyed ourselves. The aroma is the same as the gym, due to people running and sweating. Overall, it was a fun activity. read more

Shadowland is way past its prime. The facility is dark to the point of feeling unsafe. Most of the arcade games are out of order and the ones that do work essentially just exchange a dollar in tokens for a few tickets that can be exchanged for penny candy...kind of like Chucky Cheese. The staff is not particularly capable or helpful and I suspect have little to no training for working with kids. The place is generally dirty and poorly maintained. All that said, kids like it well enough. Just be prepared to spend a lot of money and do most of the work. The most disturbing aspect is that there is no system in place to account for children who attend, so essentially it's a free for all. read more

Went back to Shadowland an had a slightly better experience but they really could do a lot to improve. The kids waited for 35 minutes to get into a game because there were "not enough people to make a party". When the kids did get in it was so crowded that they were all over each other. So you wait a long time whether it is busy or not but either way it will be packed in the laser tag room. Bummer. read more

This place was great ....my son went there for a Bday party... turned out be a fun time...the kids had a real good time... I mean what's there not to like about laser tag? The staffers were well-organized without a hiccup...as there were 30+ kids in the party. Decided to tag along during an event occurring with family members. A complete hidden gem. Never did laser tag before (other than basic toys at the house with the kids) so we have it a try while hanging out - excellent time! No basis for comparison for courses or prices but it was fun. Several birthday parties going on afterwards so we timed it right. Arcade games were about right for all ages. Indoor "glow in the dark" putt putt was a decent time for old and young. read more

I came here for my birthday with 11 others, and let me tell you: - be prepared for FUN, sweat, and sore sore sore thighs and butt - there are two types of people here: kids, and kids' parents I turned 25, but my group had so much fun!! Shadowland has one room that has various walls, ramps, fogs, lights, gems, and levels. That one room hosts different "adventures" that have different themes and colored gems. Each adventure is 15 minutes, and is team Blue vs Green. If you shoot a gem, you have opportunities of earning more points. There will be a lot of kids each round, so be prepared to do a lot of squat-ducking and squat-running and squat-sweating. I say this because the kids are short enough to not be seen over the walls, but adults, man, you stick right out and could be easily tagged! After each adventure you can pick up your score card. My group discussed who tagged who and got a good laugh of it. I wish there were more rooms so the layout of each adventure would be a novelty each round. I also wish someone would sanitize the vests and laser guns each round. But overall, a fun time with nice employees. read more

After paying for two our group to play two game two of our groups' suits didn't work and there employees couldn't figure out how to fix it. Instead of letting our group play together for a new game they said there was nothing they could do. Horrible customer service. read more

Visited for the first time with a group of 7. Had an amazing time and Fred, the manager, was very helpful. The staff sanitized between plays, enforced social distancing and mask wearing, and were so kind and generous to the kids. We will definitely return! My two kids (age 6 and 7) really loved going to Shadowland, and keep asking me for more. The arena has two levels plus it has "GEMs" that are on the walls. GEMs are kind of obstacles that can shoot at you or if the player shoots it first, they can give the player special powers. My kids liked ability to choose kinds of games. For instance, most of the games are one team against the other team, with various super powers. However, there is also an option where each player plays for oneself, and the points determine a winner. Kids collected the play sheet with reviews of their performance of how many times they were shot, and who shot them, accuracy, etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a lot of questions, and they were pretty patient with me. I agree with previous reviews that the arcade games weren't all that good, but the shooting games kept the kids entertained during the breaks. I tried to keep them away from gambling-type of games, and there were quite a few. Overall, kids had a great time running around, and loved it there. Good times! read more

I was looking for a fun and unconventional way of celebrating my 32nd birthday and what better way to celebrate than to run around shooting my girlfriends with lasers? My group of 8 had a great time here last weekend. To not accidently knock over any 6 year olds, we booked a private which included a private party room where we relaxed in between games with popcorn and drinks. I had a birthday party here for my son and it's good that he is not old enough to understand what a mess it was behind the scenes. The one good thing I can say about the whole event is that the kids had fun playing laser tag. Here's the sequence of terrible service: 1. Room wasn't ready at our start time. I had a bunch of excited kids waiting to get started...but no room to go to. 2. We were put in a room and it was set up while we were in it as the kids were waiting. 3. We waited 30 minutes before our representative got us started. That's a lot of time for kids to wait...not to mention we were paying good money to be treated this way. 4. We got rushed in and got a very poor briefing for the kids before they started the first round of laser tag. 5. The 10 kids in our party were not on the same team. Some were on the blue team and some were on the green team. Yet we were playing against another party. What sense does it make to split up two parties (same number of kids on each) into different teams? This frustrated the kids on both teams since they wanted to play as a team with their friends. When I asked the employees about this they told me there was nothing they could do..and it wasn't corrected for the second round of laser tag either. Foul! 6. We had ten minutes to throw down the pizza before the next round because they (Shadowland) were so far behind schedule. Not cool. 7. Our party rep was HORRIBLE. Guy brings in the cake with no plates, utensils, knife, or even a lighter to light the candles. Okay. So we ask him to bring what we needed. Wait ten minutes, he brings plates but nothing else...so we ask him to bring the rest of the stuff. Wait five minutes...utensils and cake knife...no lighter. Ask him to bring the lighter...another ten minutes and he finally brings it. All this time the kids are waiting. Of course, they didn't cut and serve the cake...my wife and I ended up doing it. 8. Here's the best part. After we started 30 minutes late, were rushed through everything, waited almost another 25 minutes to get everything for the cake.....THEY ASKED US TO HURRY SO WE COULD GET OUT OF THE ROOM AT OUR SCHEDULED END TIME. Are you kidding me? My son didn't get to open his gifts in front of his friends and their parents...who bought the gifts. We had to take them home. How rude is that? 9. Noticed after we left that they did not give my son the t shirt that was part of the package but was so angry that I didn't want to make the 30-minute drive back there to even pick it up. For $300 total for everything I expected way better service. I would have been happy with even reasonable service.....but this was an absolutely terrible experience! read more

If I had rated this last week, I would have given it 4-5 stars. This week was so bad I've gone to one. There were a ton of problems with our night- all of the problems were 100 percent preventable. The staff just didn't care. We did a total of six games, because we had the Friday night one price for unlimited games deal. The first problem happened during our first, and possibly second game of the night (though I am not sure if the second game was affected). We didn't know anything was wrong during the game. When the game was over, my friend discovered that his pack was actually "merged" with another person's pack. This meant that him and the other guy had the same pack number, and their scores were combined as one player. This really threw off the rest of the game. I went to talk to the manager about this after the second game, and he blew me off. He said that the reason why this happened was because the players did not properly check the numbers on their packs. Basically, what he was saying (and it was a bit confusing) was that every player is supposed to look at their laser gun when it powers on, and each player is supposed to check the number on the screen of their gun. Each person's number should be unique, and if two people have the same number, then the score merger happens. I didn't argue, but I felt as if it was the job of the employee that was leading the group to ask everyone to check. The manager insisted that the employee told everyone this- the employee never said this. He completely rushed through all explanations every time. And, I was annoyed that this was their excuse- the eight year olds we were playing with would not have been able to do this. He could have easily asked each person their number or explained this better, but chose not to check at all. The manager seemed annoyed at me, and just tried to make excuses as if it wasn't their fault, and kept saying that it was the players fault for not checking. I will say, that after I spoke with them, they did say that would take steps to prevent this from happening for the rest of the games. I was ok with that. Problem number two- Everything should have been better, but no. There was another big problem with our remaining games. As I said earlier, each pack is numbered. If you choose an even pack, you are on the same team as all other even numbers. There are about 52 total packs available to choose from. In order to prevent the teams from being uneven the last week I played, the employee told everyone to pick packs from a smaller range of numbers; usually no more than 5 over the total number of players. So, if we had 15 players, he would tell us to pick a number between 1 and 20. Again, this makes the teams even. Tonight, there was very little of that. The only game that the employee tried to prevent this from happening was the first game. Two of the games we played were ridiculously uneven. The last game of the night we played was horrible- the employee did not limit which packs we chose at all, and we had 23 players. The result was that one team had seven people, the other had sixteen. This game was a complete waste, not fun at all. We were on the larger team, and had no one to shoot. Problem number three- This is small, but the tables were not cleaned at all. There was a pizza box that was on a table when we got there, and it was never cleared at all for four hours. It's unfortunate that this place really was so bad tonight. The employees didn't care- especially the one who was leading the groups into each game. He rushed through the instructions every time and barely explained everything. The guy who we had the week before was great, it made a huge difference. This night though left a very bad impression. I was going to bring a big group of friends because I had so much fun the previous week. Now I will never go back. read more

Held my son's 7th birthday last weekend (Sunday morning). The kids (and dads) had a BLAST. My son has been to at least 10 birthday parties at UltraZone in Falls Church so I decided to try something different for his even though it takes an additional 10 minutes to get there from our neighborhood. They played 2 separate games of laser tag. Here the pluses: - Our party room could easily hold 20 kids. Some are larger. - The laser tag area was large and was not too "foggy" so the kids were not scared. - No loud music blaring in the laser tag room. Fun '80s music play in the arcade and restaurant area. - Arcade area was not adjacent to the party room which made it easier to keep the kids out of the arcade area. - Not crowded except for one other birthday party that was HUGE. - Staff set up and cleaned up the party room for cake and for pizza. - Very convenient to have them order the pizza and the ice cream cake. Note to others: If you are reasonably good at writing on cakes, bring your own frosting and you can write on the cake before they bring it into the room. We brought candles which was enough for my son. - Relatively inexpensive compared to many other party options. - Everyone had fun. I didn't leave with a headache as I usually do after birthday parties with my son's friends! Downsides: - Staff seemed bored and indifferent about making sure we had everything we needed. No one asked if we had been there before so they seemed to assume we knew what to do and where to go. No one greeted us when we came in and we stood around awkwardly near the party room door labeled with my son's name, waiting until I asked someone at the desk if we needed to check in. Even the manager on duty wasn't too enthusiastic. I realize it's not ideal to be working on a Sunday morning but it's a 7 year old boy's birthday so at least pretend to be having fun! - Having 48 kids in the game room at one time seemed like a LOT. The kids didn't mind but the briefing took longer because there were 40 7-year olds getting ready. - A bit hard to find - it's located behind the Shell station - you actually access it through the parking lot. A sign out near the road would be a nice addition. - Unclear how clean the vests and guns are but the room seemed clean. Still, we had a great time and I will give it 5 stars if we go back and have a better experience wth the staff. We'll be back again! read more

I really like this place! The arcade part has a good amount of games, nice variety. Bring $ for food and arcade and of course lazertag. The token machine takes ($5, $10, $20) the higher the amount, the more tokens you get. The lazertag arena is fun and the wait to play a game isn't that long. They also serve food and drink there, which is nice. Good for groups also. Overall, it's a fun time. read more

I coordinated a field trip for 80 students to play laser tag and couldn't be happier with our experience. The staff was friendly, organized and professional. The facility was clean and perfect for our kids! Booking was easy and day of coordination was super easy. I'd highly recommend bringing large groups here! The kids had a BLAST! read more

Took 4 kids here on a recent Sunday morning and we had a good experience. When we arrived it was not very busy, but the birthday parties soon started and it became crowded quickly. That said, the manager, Heather, was organized and did a good job keeping things moving and the kids had fun. Some of the other staff were not quite as helpful - teenagers who were more apathetic. If you have a problem, Heather is the one to talk to. The laser tag room is pretty big - 2 levels. Very dark. The equipment worked well. The game playing experience was very good. The arcade games are dated, and a number didn't work, but there was enough there for the kids to be entertained in between games. The arcade is very large and spread out, so lots of room for the kids to run without feeling claustrophobic. Pizza can be ordered from the front desk via Papa John's. It is quick and affordable and they sign for it so if you are playing a game, you don't have to leave the laser tag room to sign for the pizza. The laser maze was not working properly, so that was a disappointment. read more

We are big fans of Shadowlands throughout the year plus our daughter had her 8th and 9th birthday party here. The only part that is less than ideal is trying to reserve the date for your party. Mentally prepare you might be on hold for a little while on the phone. Other than that this venue is a win for kids who get all of their energy out and a big win for the hosting parents in that pretty much all you have to do is show up and bring your cake or in our case donuts! We also did our own party favors but they will provide that service for you too. This year our assigned staff party planner was named Marco and he was really organized, helpful and moved like a ninja never being in the way but clearing the room and magically refilling the pink lemonade without being detected. It's mostly high school aged kids and we have always been impressed with how courteous everyone is. Saturdays and Sundays are big party days so of course it will be more crazy. We observed several boy parties gone wild which is not the job of the party planner to control. They make sure everyone gets to where they need to be on time, set up pizza and drinks (if you order them) and take trash away. Parents still need to keep track of their kids! The party room is on one end of the building and the bathrooms are on the other where the arcade games are. We have found that sometimes the machines do not work properly and with a group of 12 party goers we think the laser adventures are enough without the hassle of the arcade. The party moves so fast from one thing to the next the kids never have a chance to be bored. The two laser game party is the perfect amount of fun! Highly recommend! read more

This review is not because of the place itself. I have been to shadow land a few times with both friends and family and have had a good experience. The reason for the one star is for the level of customer service I have encountered since I have been trying to book a party for my son's birthday. I called on a Friday to schedule a party during the 11am to 6pm timeframe suggested by the voice answering service. I spoke to an attendant who said the planner was unavailable, but would take my information and I would receive a call back............ Well Monday came around and I hadn't received a phone call, so I called again. This time i was only able to leave a voicemail, which I did. The next day, I still didn't receive a phone call, so I called again. I actually reached a person this time, who said she was working with a client, but she would contact me back when she was finished. I gave my information for a third time and wouldn't you know it, STILL NO PHONE CALL BACK!!!!!! I called on Wednesday, spoke to the same young lady who proceeded to tell me she couldn't help me at the moment but would call me back.....NO, fool me once shame on me, fool me 3 times, I'm just an idiot. I told her I had been calling and get no returned phone call as promised, so I needed to book my sons party right there. So I told her the time I wanted, none available of course, so i had to choose an alternate time than originally planned. Not the biggest deal but still a little upset because the day I wanted may have been available when i first called. She took my email and promised to follow up that way because it worked best for her and is actually the best way to reach me as well. So here I sit today, Friday June 6th still awaiting the second email confirming my son's birthday party........... I had to find a different place to hold my sons party because of the lack of responses from shadow land. I was able to book at another place in less than 5 minutes, and guess what someone actually called me today to confirm my reservations. Laser tag here is pretty fun. It's a nice large area to run/hide in. I would vote this place 4 stars, but a lot of the arcade games here are either outdated or just broken. There's still some options if kids want to play, but just not much. The place has an older feel and would be really nice if it was updated. read more

So this place seems generally well-run for its genre (and has no weird employees as mentioned in my review of another location). The game room is large, with a fairly decent variety, and the kids had fun. But one is forced to wonder if they have ever had a female employee. The women's bathroom was in terrible shape. One of the stalls had no door, and the room was filthy. Nothing says "boys only" like scuzzy bathrooms. A pity, since the birthday party we were attending was for a girl. read more

Went here for my son birthday party. Had about 30 kids and they were about to accommodate us all. We brought our own pizza with us. Had our own space and they provided the drinks and tokens. The kids had a great time and in return I had a wonderful time. I have recommended this place to serial people. Thinking about going again next year for his next birthday. read more

1st, please keep in mind what type of place this is. There were or it seems like 100 children running around from the food stand to the party rooms to the game center. It smelled like a bunch of wet puppies in there and I quickly found out why this was. After our weird breifing we went into the gear room to load up and after running around in that maze I was sweating like a HOG! There were some who just sat in one area and waited for people to come by and shoot them but, that just wasn't fun. The fun part was running around, excuse me walking around and capping folk. This wasn't a hostile area and everyone there wanted to have fun and this we did. Sorry, we didn't eat there so, I can't tell you about the food. We went to Shiro in Kingstown Plaza for my daughters B-Day party. Forget Ruby Tuesday they are rude!!! read more

Shadowland is GREAT for Lazer Tag. I'm impressed that the games vary and when more people play the better the game gets. The only reason this place does not get 5 stars is because of two things. 1. The outside of the place is not very visible and open. A big Shadowland sign on Franconia would help. The entrance doors are tinted and it makes the place look sketchy or empty when no cars are parked in the lot. Take off the tinted doors or replace them so people can see inside. What kind of business does that? It's almost like they don't want people to go inside. Add some windows! 2. UPDATE THE PLACE!!! I say this in caps because I actually want the place to succeed. The displays and the overall look is very outdated. Something as simple as updating the photos of the food would do wonders. If you go now, you will see a picture of pepperoni pizza that doesn't look that great, appealing, and looks like some 7 yr old made it at home. That could be updated. Even fake photos of great looking food will help the appeal! The arcade games should all be one token. There is no reason to be playing old, vintage 90's arcade games for 2 tokens or even 4 tokens. This is not Dave & Buster type games here. If the games are broken, get rid of them or get them replaced. Why does this place have to be so dark inside? Lighting it up would be nice. I get the theme of a spooky castle and magical gems but leave the darkness for the arena. The booths and table area don't need to be shrouded in darkness. Unless you're trying to hide something? I'm not opposed to the pricing on the games but do a better job of promoting specials. I went on a slow night and saw a flyer for a 5 game deal. Why is the flyer only on the inside? Why not promote within the community and online? Come on Shadowland, you could do better and I hope you do! read more

My boys and their friends had a great time at this facility. The laser tag arena kept them entertained throughout our allotted party time. There was a little disorganization with the staff and getting our room ready but the staff was so nice and helpful in all other areas it made up for the hiccups. The experience was so good that a couple of the parents thanked us for introducing this place to them. read more

This place is oddly amazing. I've never played laser tag and came here for an adult birthday party (10 people) at 10PM and it was AWESOME. This place looks sketchy af from the outside but the gear and the play area inside is great. Games are cheap, even with the party room included it came to $25 for two games. Games are 20 minutes long and you get a briefing about how to play beforehand. You can BYOB, etc if you have the party room. You must wear dark clothing and be prepared to sweat from all the running around. If you have a big group try playing late at night so there's no little kids inside because our games got serious, lol. I was amazed at how cool this outing was. read more

Had birthday party here recently for my son. Was not a lot of organization or direction when we first arrived - so us and our guests were standing around a bit haphazardly. No one is at the door to direct people to our party room (1 of 5 or so rooms). Party room is small and was not setup with tables and chairs when we arrived. Floor was soaking wet from recent moping. Nothing for kids to do other than fill out their waiver forms and act like school age boys with each other. Next, we were rushed into a briefing room. For a simple game, I did not understand the rules (gems, credits, energy) and doubt the kids did either. Laser tag is fun (a bit expensive) and the kids had a great time playing. One game was only about 15 min in play and we had a 2 hour party block. We ate pizza and cake, and still had about an hour left. I bought the kids a bunch of tokens to spend at the arcade. The arcade area is pitiful. Machines have seemingly random token assignments (1-6) and over half of the machines are turned off or broken. Those that are turned on are a gamble in themselves if they will even work or return your money of they don't work. There is no one around to fix anything or refund tokens. Like most arcades, $20 worth of tokens will win you a bouncy ball or rubber snake valued at less than $0.25. Maybe, fun for the kids on a Saturday afternoon, but not a good value for the party experience for what it costs. Visit before hand to see what the place is like and come prepared to be both host and set up crew. read more
