I've been here a couple times with friends but this particular time I went with a friend I always get coffee with (she's been with me for most of my reviews) so I came in with more of an expectation. I ordered a 12oz iced brown sugar latte w/ whole milk and my friend got a 12 oz maple spice latte w/ oat milk. We both enjoyed it so much! We both rated our coffees a 5/5. It was perfect because it wasn't too milky and it also wasn't too sweet. I think since we got a 12oz it's a more equal espresso to milk ratio so if you're looking for just a quick pick me up of a coffee I'd heavily recommend! The seating and the vibes there were super chill too and they also have a cute little sketch book for customers to add to. The staff were polite and helped with recommendations. My latte was also only $5.60, so I will definitely be coming back!! read more

I have never had a bad experience until this morning. I don't know if the girl in the green shirt thought my comment about moving my car up to see the menus was rude or not, but I used a kind tone and got attitude in return. As someone who has worked multiple Customer Service jobs I immediately know what kind of behavior that attitude entails. I am obviously not going to sit there and be overly friendly when you're making it clear that you don't even want to serve me. I got a water-down chai which never happens, I wasn't even given a chance to say that I want it with a substitute milk. She also handed it to me without saying a word and also handed me my stamp card back un-stamped. I got an avocado toast, but now I'm scared to even look at that to see if it was done correctly, however, the blond girl who brought it out, was super friendly, which perked my attitude back up a little. I am now currently sitting in a Starbucks getting another drink because I am not drinking the chai that I got due to it not being made correctly. It tastes like hot milk. I have never had that happen before! This is my first bad experience at this location and I am very disappointed... I will make it a point to never go in the morning this early. read more

I've had some difficulties with the processes in the past with this cafe, but ultimately, I love this place. The staff are always kind, the drinks are always great and the place is always chill. My go-to is the honey lavender latte with oat milk. I find it unfortunate I've been forgetting to update my review, as I've been going here for years with no problems. Drip coffee was good, coffee cake was moist and delicious! The matcha my partner had was great, well mixed, strong, and not too sweet. Veggie sandwich is good, the spicy cashew cheese is really the star. However, ordering a bacon egg and cheese sandwich only to receive it with hard boiled eggs was...shocking. Never in my life have I been served a BEC with boiled eggs. Even as a lover of boiled eggs, it was just really bizarre. Nice covered patio, but there's a lot of street noise. Cute coffee shop with lots of outdoor seating. The avocado toast I ordered was a little salty and the mashed avocado spread on the toast was a little too thin for my taste. However, I did appreciate that it came with two slices of sourdough. The cappuccino I ordered was good, but I got a weird feeling when I requested my order "for here" because the worker was very robotic during my transaction after being all laughs and smiles with the customer right before me. One of the coziest coffee shops in the Sac area; great for a friend catch-up date especially with the outdoor shaded patio. :) Indoor space has a nice cabin-houseplant-y vibe to it but probably not the best place for study work because the baristas take full advantage of the good sound system here lol they got their music playlist on fleek. Oh right, the drinks. Pretty solid overall especially since they use Mast Coffee beans from Sac. Amazing cold brew; smooth and fruity. Mocha had too much richness mainly from chocolate overload; had to take small sips over time. Was a loyal customer for over 2 years. Brought family and friends. Some family told me the customer service was terrible. I too experienced this first hand 2 days in a row not just to myself but an elderly gentleman sitting in the cafe asked the barista a question when she turned around and snapped abruptly, "what's up?" !!?? Then she told him, it will just be a minute. Located on a triangular property just outside of downtown Roseville is a very cool little-big coffee shop that we've been meaning to go to for over a decade. There was plenty of free parking on the streets around the area and there is an interesting drive through at the front door...they'll come out of the shop to serve you. Super cute interior like a small cafe in Italy and hobbit like doorways and a huge covered deck in the back with ample seating. They use Mast coffee but don't create most of their own flavors. We had the brown sugar spice that they DO make themselves and it was lovely. The star of the show was the employees as they are jubilant and welcoming. The orange raspberry scone was AMAZING. Their baker has the ability to make a flaky crust and moist scone with great flavor. I love that they had 3 different drink size options because I feel like some coffee shops only offer one or maybe two drink sizes. The only thing I would ask for next time is light syrup because my drink was really sweet which I normally wouldn't mind but I have gotten used to my coffees being less sweet now. Me and my cousins come here every time they visit Sacramento. We always go with our usuals, iced matcha with oat milk. I highly recommend their matcha here, I replace regular milk with oat milk, and add a pump of strawberry syrup. It is one of the best matcha lattes you can get around here. Came at 9am on a Sunday and was surprised to see a drive through lane that had several cars already in queue. This was an indication of "this place must be good!" We opted to wait inline inside to be able to read the drink menu. Line moved quickly and the team behind the bar was very friendly. They have 3 sizes, 12oz, 16oz, 24oz. We ordered an iced chai almond latte, an iced lavender latte (4/5), and a caramel iced oatmeal latte (3/5), I think the oat milk doesn't make the drink as creamy. They also keep the music at a level conducive to conversation & studying. The plants give it a nice touch as well. It's kind of like a "come over and hang in my back patio" homey feel. The staff is friendly, helpful, and thorough! My friend's Chai was "too Chai" for her and they quickly took care of it for her. I also had questions about the place such as, are they open to community events (art classes), what type of power sources they have, etc. All of my questions were answered and I was given the owner's email address. By the way, they have several power sources inside and only one outside. I'd recommend charging your devices and bringing a backup power source, just in case. Check it out! read more
