The customer service is next level ( Tony & Jennitse: she has the most amazingly white teeth), I have made me feel welcome each and every time I have visited the location. The ambience is perfectly executed. It is modern and sleek, and the brilliant addition of swinging seats gives the space a unique, beautiful vibe that really sets it apart from your average café. Now, onto the food and drinks. The coffee is exceptional, and the pastries are honestly amongst the best I've ever had. What really blew me away is the value. Both the coffee and pastries are affordably priced, which is incredibly rare these days. And as a 6'5", 260-pound guy with a muscular frame who definitely knows how to eat, I don't say this lightly: the portion sizes here are far above average! You absolutely get your money's worth. I popped into The Bean Roasting Company in Roseville around 10:30 on a Monday while my van was being serviced, and I immediately fell in love with the place. The vibe is cozy and unique -- they even have swing seats (only two, so they fill up fast). We were lucky one was empty when we arrived. I ordered ginger tea and a couple of samosas because they looked tempting. They were absolutely delicious -- so good I ordered two more. [Roseville CA] While charging our car across the street daughter and I checked out this coffee shop located at the Roseville Square Shopping Center on Harding Blvd. Signs inside the shop says Nick's Roasting Company which is different from this check-in page so a little confusing there. Inside is fun and super cute with an eclectic seating arrangement including a couple of bench swings! The menu had many options -- both food and drink variety. I love that they have smoothies! This spot is located across the way from the Trader Joe's in the Roseville Square Shopping Center. I came with the family on a weekend afternoon. As soon as we entered, we were nicely greeted by friendly staff. During our time here, anytime I approached the counter, even just to look around, I was acknowledged & asked how I could be helped. However, it required more mixing with my straw because there were little clumps on the bottom & along the sides of the cup. To those of you that know me already have a pretty good idea that I am a coffee snob. Which takes me on a trip to Roseville, CA where I had the opportunity in trying out "Nick's Roasting". Located in the Roseville Square shopping center directly on Harding Blvd. and adjacent to Douglas Blvd., this place replaced what was once a Starbucks Coffee for many years while making their grand opening back in April 2025. As of late-2025, this is one of two locations with the other being in Napa, CA. I came here during the morning of Thursday 9/4/2025 at around 8:45am. Parking is relatively easy to find (no matter what time of day) as this business shares the lot with several other businesses including a Chubby's Diner and Trader Joe's. Best of all, this place has very generous hours of operation being opened as early as 6am during the workweek and closing at either 6:00pm or 7:00pm depending on what day it is. The interior setup of this place is the real winner as the wall fixtures, swinging egg chairs, hanging lights, open-air ambiance, and the food/drink menu is well represented in every way possible. Furthermore, you will immediately feel as if a Starbucks never existed here with as many renovations as they did to make this place come to life. I also wanted to add that there are a few outdoor tables and chairs (with weather permitting). Drink menu is quite impressive with just about every type of coffee and espresso drink imaginable. In addition to your typical coffee drinks to jumpstart your day, they also carry a wide assortment of specialty drinks (available in hot or iced), Indian chai, Boba, energy drinks, and smoothies. Some of their food offerings include the standard pastries (scones, croissants, rolls) as well as bagels, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and even lunch offerings. Finally, to those that have a sweet tooth, they even offer several ice cream flavors. Since I was craving a complete meal to get me through the morning, I ordered their "Iced Vanilla Latte" complete with the "Chorizo, Egg, & Cheese Breakfast Burrito". Everything was priced very reasonable at around $12 + tax (as of late-2025). My latte is ready first and this hit the spot without being too sweet nor too bitter. But the real winner was their breakfast burrito. The amount of chorizo combined with the potato cubes, scrambled eggs, and cheese absolutely hit the spot and was made to perfection. I highly recommend it if you plan on trying something delicious and hearty. All in all, "Nick's Roasting" absolutely exceeded my expectations as the ambiance, customer service, food/drink quality, prices, and overall experience was top notch. I only wish good things for this relatively new business as they have everything down to a tee. And since I visit this area on a regular basis, I plan on making many future trips here. No acidity taste as a poor over and as a latte it definitely mixed well with both whole milk and my homemade almond/ macadamia milk -will definitely be purchasing these beans again! Located within Roseville square, this is a very conveniently located spot! Right off the bat I appreciated the easy access to parking and easiness to spot this coffee shop. Maneuvering spaces with a baby and a stroller isn't always easy, but it was here! The space is large and has been designed well to where I was able to park our stroller right next to us while we enjoyed our coffee. I ordered the monkey mocha, the drink was the perfect balance of chocolate and banana flavoring! Reminded me of banana bread in a liquid form! However, the sweetness factor was a bit overboard for me. Would recommend ordering this in a less sweet version. We also ordered a blueberry scone, it was quite tasty! I would recommend however, that the pastry case include prices and labels to identify what pastries are within the case. I've been following Nick's since before they opened. I was so excited to finally make it in. It's super cute inside with tons of sun and super fun chairs and even swinging benches. When we walked in there were 3 girls behind the counter. None of them greeted us and they were just standing around. Since it was our first time there we took our time going over the menu before deciding on what to order. Drinks - I got an Iced Cinnamon Flurry (this was so sweet it was undrinkable). My oldest daughter got an Iced Matcha (mid at best). My youngest got a Mango Smoothie (loved it). Food - They were out of what we wanted so we ordered a Blueberry Muffin Top, Chocolate Chip Muffin Top & an Orange Cranberry Scone. My daughter decided she wanted to try some ice cream before we left. The menu said 1 scoop $4.95, kids scoop $4.95, but it rang up as $5.00 plus tax. Cute little place with a good ambiance. They have good coffee but I will say that the food tastes prepackaged and not homemade. I had the sausage burrito and the potato's had same texture they get when they are reheated and microwaved. It wasn't horrible just definitely not fresh. We did have a slightly off putting experience when we were sitting at one of the swinging tables (there's only 2 in the restaurant). After sitting there for only about 20 minutes, the manager came up to us and was very nice but informed us that there was a 45 minute time limit for these tables because there is only 2 and they are in high demand. Which I can respect. However it is just slightly rude to come up to a paying customer halfway through their meal to inform them of this. And the table behind us was empty so it's not like anyone was waiting for our table. Again, we had only been there for 20-25 minutes. To management, I'd recommend maybe putting a sign on the table so that guests don't feel like they are being pushed out as they are eating their food. We ended up just feeling uncomfortable after that interaction and chose to finish our food outside after that. I would say that this cafe is okay. Not the best and not the worst. I think I'd like it a little bit more if it weren't for that strange interaction with management. I probably won't be returning. read more

I went here for the first time this morning. Three things went wrong with my order: 1. I was given a medium flavored latte despite asking for a large multiple times. 2. The flavored latte costs more than a regular latte, but I was charged an extra dollar for the flavor on top of that despite flavor coming with it. 3. I was charged a 16% tip (they included the tax in the tipping calculation) despite never being asked whether I wanted to add one. Their smoothies use a syrup instead of fruit. Their energy drinks are just Red Bull with flavoring. It's not a unique blend. I would expect these things considering the prices they're charging. I will not be returning. read more
