Hmmm, is there a Peet's in Auburn? Thankfully, yes & right down the street from the hotel the girlfriend & I were staying. Sweet! This Peet's is located inside a Raley's Supermarket. From the entrance, it's in the front left corner of the store. The folks working here weren't minding the shop too closely & didn't immediately notice their new customer, but were really friendly when they did come over to help me with my wake-up juice. I got an iced coffee refill of my big insulated tumbler & was all set to hit the road. I was sure glad to find a Peet's in Auburn. For me, it's vastly superior to any coffee from Seattle.

Well, then you've come to the right Starbucks! You can also get breakfast items, snacks, merchandise like coffee cups, a place to quietly sit and get some work done. The temperature in Starbucks always seems to be perfect with big open windows and casual seating. Normally, I make my expresso at home (using the beans, I buy here at this Starbucks), but I wanted an expert to make my drink today. Plus, I was in the mood for something I do not have at home. At the register, I was greeted by smiling faces! She even asked me how my day was going. I loved how genuine she was! Her name tag said Angelina! I automatically had a soft spot for her since she has the same name as my daughter. I ordered a Venti Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Expresso. Then, since I am inspired these days, I went ahead with a protein box. I also enjoy their fruit & cheese box (I think it's my fave). The flavors of the cheese with the fruits combined are so yummy! I used the app on my phone to pay (and I also earn rewards points for using my app). Sometimes, there are rewards for points available by completing tasks on the app! Within moments, my drink was ready. Another reason I like coming to this location is because of the consistency of the taste of my drinks. It is always good here!!!! It's always super clean, too! Today, a young man helped me and he was very cheery. Smiley and such a polite personality. I ordered my client a vanilla latte with an extra pump of the vanilla and a cheese Danish. She loves those. When I brought my client her coffee and snack, she was sooooo happy!! She said he drink was perfectly delicious and so was her cheese Danish. It was a phenomenal contrast with the soft moist cake. I think I can taste that the pecans were toasted to add even more of a nutty flavor! Perfection! Someone here knows exactly what they're doing and I can't eat another German Chocolate cake from anywhere but here! In fact, hold on while I take another bite...
