They use really cutting edge tech to x-ray, photograph and diagnose. The pain of visiting the dentist is actually gone. Dr. Amna made it a point to vocalize everything she was about to do and why, which was cool and calming. The entire visit wasn't expensive at all (no insurance here) and Dr Amna made it a point to take the entire process I'm involved in slowly so we can take the proper course, which was appreciated. Overall, great visit. If I were to make the most minor of complaints, maybe there are too many text messages prior to visit, but I think that's a ZocDoc thing and my own thing about getting too many messages.

I have dual PPO insurance, and I know deep cleanings are covered, yet I was still charged a significant out-of-pocket amount. I was never informed that a laser would be used, nor that it would be an additional charge per quadrant. I assumed it was part of the standard procedure. This was never discussed or consented to prior to treatment. Even more concerning, my son and I were separated and taken to different rooms, and they proceeded to do multiple fillings on my son without ever informing me how many were needed or asking for my consent. No one came to explain the treatment plan before starting, during my own procedure, or afterward. As a parent, this is completely unacceptable. At no point was I given a clear treatment plan or cost breakdown for either of us. Despite having dual insurance coverage, I was still charged $621 out of pocket. When I asked for an itemized receipt, I was told they could not provide one, which is a huge red flag. This office feels extremely money-driven, with poor communication and questionable consent practices. I truly regret not paying closer attention to the reviews before booking here. Transparency, consent, and trust are critical in healthcare--and this office failed on all three. Please avoid this place and protect yourself and your family.

I went in with a Groupon and paid out of pocket and they were very accommodating. For the first few years, they made me feel at ease every visit and I was religiously going in every 6 months for teeth cleaning and check up. When they moved to the Koreatown office is when it started to feel like they were starting to push me to fix numerous things and that number would increase every visit. I eventually never dealt with Dr. Arezoo or Dr. Azy unless it was very brief. Some teeth cleaning were done poorly and some other assistants were not pleasant to deal with. Prices kept increasing bc of Covid and supply issues yet every time I go in the office there are new gadgets. I went in to replace my crown and they took x-rays 4xs bc they wanted to make sure the crown would fit. There was a time when dentists didn't need all these toys and they managed just fine. The kicker was their new financial policy they wanted me to sign. $150-$300 per hour cancellation fee! In the 14 years I have never been late to an appointment and last time I had to cancel that morning bc I woke up with a fever and had to go to urgent care and they tried to charge me $200. They said I should have known I was going to be sick. That is unreasonable and disgusting to charge people that much. I asked what our compensation would be if they had to cancel on patients last minute and they made excuses. I'm so sick of everyone being greedy. I suggest you go elsewhere. I had no problems with the work done, or at least I though so.. In the spring of 2025, I went for a checkup, and Dr Kalasho was on leave and her replacement told me I developed another 2 cavities... just a few months after the original cavity was fixed. I couldnt believe my ears and I agreed to fix it. However, they had just closed the Hollywood office, and the closest location would have then been in Beverly Hills and I had no interest in visiting not even once. And I didnt have time to look for a new denist in the area. Fast forward to the spring 2026, I went to 2 different reputable denists in the area and they both said I had no cavity in that tooth.. I was in awe. Questions came flashing back.. Why every time did I have to sign the waiver 10x longer and more specific than at other denist's I have gone to? Why I was charged 5k for a crown that another denist said did not have that u-shape that teeth have to block most of the food in between the teeth? Was it as bad as I was made to believe? I don't know. But my suspicious makes sense. The office and the equipmennt that looked better than I have seen in Hollywood movies. Friendly chit-chat WITH LITERALLY EVERYONE in the office. Talking about families, sharing personal stories, laughing together. And then the friendly by the way reminder.. Do you want to prepay? Let's take care of this bill right away etc etc. At the end of the day, however, I couldnt shake the feeling how forced the interactions appeared. Too good to be true, fake. Well.. now, I know for sure.
