Dr. Baseri & his team are all very professional and have helped me so much with fixing some bad dental work I've had done at other dentists. I had so many fillings that still had cavities underneath and were just not done properly and my teeth were in bad shape... Like I can not emphasize enough how badly my past dental work was done & how stressed I was dealing with that.. But Dr. Baseri has helped so much with fixing everything and I feel so much more at ease knowing that everything is being taken care of properly this time. He's now the only dentist I really trust for my dental work and I cannot recommend him enough! Also for anyone that gets dental anxiety they do a really good job here of making sure that you're comfortable & I've noticed I feel a lot less anxiety here compared to other dentist offices. I've been coming to this dentist for a while now and this morning they really surprised me with their top notch treatment & customer service. I called this morning and explained to them that I was a patient there and I really wanted to come in TODAY because I was in so much pain on my right side of the mouth. They didn't even have any openings for appointments, however, the receptionist was so sweet and she was like I will find a way to take you in! They are fast to take your money but will not deliver what you paid for for weeks (even though they promise you 'it will be only two days', and I still haven't received it). They ignore all emails, barely pick up the phone & when they do they're rude & promise to call you back the same or the next day, of course to never actually call you back. I find out after beginning a process that this dentist was about to shave all my gums when the fact (according to two other dentists) were that I did not need that at all!! AND was going t charge me an extra $400 a tooth to do it! . he decided not to go forward because I was not in agreement with all he spewed. I came here in the summer of 2023 due to different dental insurance and had a really terrible experience. I just wanted a basic preventative care cleaning as covered by my insurance. They refused to take me unless I paid $60 for a panoramic scan. Then I waited almost an hour for the dentist because he was pulled into an emergency. That's understandable but he then proceeded to tell me I needed fillings and a deep cleaning. I politely declined due to the cost which wasn't covered by insurance. They continued to push the deep cleaning for $800. I said I just wanted a basic cleaning so they told me I'd need to sign an AMA form. I agreed and asked for my basic cleaning. By now I'd been there for two hours. They proceeded to give me the sloppiest cleaning for maybe 5 minutes. This ended up costing me an additional $50 somehow?! They of course did not validate parking, which was probably $20 for the garage. I left with such a bad experience that I only now chose to go to another previous dentist that I like. They did normal X-rays and a 3d scan that was all covered by insurance. Said my teeth were great and I could do a basic cleaning next week. Dr. Baseri is clearly just scamming people who don't need such dental work for the profits. Will never go back. read more

Omg, I loved it here! Seriously the nicest and most caring staff. Dr.Baseri was so informative during my exam and even caught cavities that my previous dentist missed. I came in because of a crack in some old bonding and we talked through the options. Cynthia broke down the costs and payment plans so easily and that really helped me make an informed decision. The X-rays were super easy and the hygienist who polished my teeth did an amazing job. They all check in with you to make sure you're doing well and you get to kick back with Netflix and even a blanket if you want! Felt more like a spa day than a dentist visit. Very appreciative to the whole team, especially for doing both the consultation and treatment in the same visit! The bonding and polish look awesome. It's funny to see stupid people complain to receptionist as if they make the prices , the owner makes the prices, in case no one knew. Your in LA nothing is cheap, besides you. Came in for a wisdom tooth removal in March. Nightmare experience. My gums were barely numb with the gel before the surgeon started tapping in to the teeth to be extracted. This was my first removal so I wasn't sure what it was supposed to feel like but I started squirming when he was fiddling around on the tooth. When he realized I could feel it, he stopped and left the room. The assistant left and came in again to numb my gums properly and the extraction was completed. Dr. Baseri is a warm, patient, and exceptionally skilled dentist. Like many others, I have had some traumatizing dental experiences in the past, which has made me a challenging patient to work with. In the short time I have been a patient, Dr. Baseri has completed several fillings (he is particularly skilled at administering shots), bonded a chipped tooth (squeezing me in the very next day), and I am nearing the completion of Invisalign treatment. His bonding work is impeccable--it was my front tooth and you can't tell it was ever chipped. Plus, the Invisalign results have garnered me many compliments on my teeth. His hygienist, Damien, is both gentle and compassionate. Dental care is expensive, even with insurance, especially during emergencies. Cynthia as well as Stephanie at the front desk are so great at their job. I'm from the U.K. and have never had such a thorough assessment of the state of my teeth and condition of my gums. He lied to me. I had an emergency crown replacement. Had to drive myself very far to get my crown. Multiple times. It didn't match or even look remotely the same as one next to it. Said that the crown would match my veneer next to it. The color or shape. I went back to complain and he said he couldn't do anything. Promised me he would fix it didn't look right. Dr.Baseri is a great dentist and I would like to continue to be his patient but sadly I cannot because of the fraudulent woman he has running his office. If you go to this dentists office watch Stephanie H. like a hawk. She constantly violates HIPAA by not filing claims. (I had to constantly call and email for months before she filed my claims). She tries to not give you your records which you're entitled to as a patient. To top it off, she over charged my credit card by $2,000 to cover her mistake of getting the total amount I owed wrong. Instead of just sending a bill of the amount owed like a honest reputable company, she produced a fraudulent payment contract and sent it to my credit card company after I disputed the fraudulent charges. My cc company sent me the fraudulent document. I have the original document from Smile Recreation's email. My credit card company did give me my money back. You can call and email and leave messages to speak with Dr. Baseri and Stephanie will intercept every time. I had to go in for a cleaning just to be able to speak to Dr. Baseri personally to bring awareness to Stephanie's horrible behavior. He was kind per usual and said that he would speak with her. (She performed the fraudulent activity after I complained to Dr. Baseri about her). I had to send a certified letter to Dr. Baseri explaining these complaints to make sure he received the letter. Stephanie H. is a liability and Dr. Baseri needs to get rid of this woman because I can't be the only patient she is doing this to. When u confront her she's full of excuses as to why she performs her job so poorly. It's really disturbing that such a great dentist would have someone like Stephanie H on his staff especially dealing with money. I got my xrays done and was told I would need all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and I told them I would come back when I got time off work and schedule for it. The other day my wisdom teeth were killing me and I called Monday morning to set an apt and by the grace of god and the amazing dentist and amazing oral surgeon Michael they were able to get me in last minute same day!!!!!!! I'm now on my drive home after 4 wisdom teeth getting extracted and I feel soooo happy and I can't say enough amazing things about this place!! I would definitely recommend this dentist!! They charged me over 2k for a procedure I did not even have done yet, ( I won't even get into the b.s they had me pay for when I was actually there in person) So I decided to get a second opinion elsewhere, come to find out 90% of what they told me I needed done was a total lie. So when I called back to cancel my appointment and reverse the charges, suddenly there system is down, and it's down every time I call. Fantastic dentist, best I've ever been to. Dr Baseri is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I come in for regular cleanings for the past 3 years and have gotten wisdom teeth removed here. Most recently, I had to come back in for another wisdom tooth that starting growing in out of the blue...i was in so much pain and called Dr. Baseri's office. He got me in that evening, and he stayed late to extract my tooth (which was also completely painless...I have low pain tolerance too). It's been about 5 days since that extraction and again, same as last time, no issues/dry sockets, recovery was so quick I didn't even take advil after 2 days. All of this to say that Dr Baseri is just so incredibly warm, kind, and genuinely wants to help his patients, you can clearly tell. The office staff is also so helpful, especially Stephanie. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCAM FRAUD CLINIC. REASONS WHY: 1. If Dr. Baseri found you in INSTAGRAM or social media DO NOT GO! 2. If he offered you any complimentary treatment DO NOT BELIEVE IT. He only needs you in his chair. Once you're there instead of doing his promised complimentary treatment he does his best to change the scenario of set plan which was agreed at a first place. He'll show you how terrible your teeth look with his close up cameras, put you in fear using same sketchy phrases he used to everyone. Like "oh look, so much cavity, need so much fillings, it can't wait any longer, your roots are already involved." You are terrified and drunk with fear agreeing to fix it even pain didn't bother earlier. Then his work took him only 10 minutes. $200 per filling. Great job! Thankfully I agreed only for 1 filling and had sanity to say no to other fillings. From his words all my mouth is completely bad. After he finished a 10 minutes filling I asked "but you said things were so bad that the root was in danger and already involved". He gave some short stupid excuse like "oh, turned out it's fine". Jeez. 3. NEVER! NEVER GIVE YOUR CARD TO PAY BEFORE SERVICE WAS PROVIDED. COS THAT'S EXACTLY HE ASKED ME TO DO AND THAT IS A POINT OF NO RETURN. IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY AFTERWARDS there is NO WAY TO REFUND or negotiate to redo it. Firstly cos dr. Baseri 100% won't do it(neither refund, nor redo) secondarily bank will refuse you too cos YOU handed your card yourself and typed a pin code. I claimed that payment with bank. However much they wanted to help legally they cannot cancel transaction. The explanation is "I was charged with my own permission." That is their fraud plan! 4. If you are a fresh foreigner in U.S. DO NOT GO! They are abusing the fact you are desperate to receive any medical help having no insurance and a lack of knowledge of the payment order. I told to local friends that they asked my card before provided service, everyone was shocked and said "you should never do it and it's a first sign it's a fraud, run away immediately!". 5. Terrible job. He made that filling within 10 minutes tops. Took him 5 shots of anesthesia to finally numb me. I was so dizzy after filling and wasn't aware of the scam happening to me there. Later at home I was just shocked how yellow filling color he used. I got only 1 tooth looking ugly yellow in whole mouth and it looks just ugly af. No sane person would want handle it. 6. Bad work? Redo? Responsibility for the work you've done? NO. Dr.Baseri never heard about those ethical standards. I didn't want money back and first I asked to redo and put a whiter filling. Of course I was denied. He gave me some stupid excuse like it's fine to have one tooth ugly not matching others, like it's my fault and something wrong with MY mouth but not his hands. Ugh. Just ridiculous. Picture is attached. 7. NEVER PAY BEFORE SERVICE WAS PROVIDED Part 2. My bill included a general cleaning. Did I receive that service? Of course NO! Not even cos we might ran out of time with me and had do the next appointment. I would understand that. The lady who does WASN'T EVEN AT HER SHIFT THAT DAY! I asked how come so you charged me for it today? Front desk just offered me to schedule and come at another day for this service. I was so pissed about that fact. Why the f you charged me for that WITHOUT my PERMISSION if WERE NOT GOING TO DO IT?! Did you ask me if I want to come again to your scam place? I found it out only when I got out from filling treatment navigating where I go next for that cleaning since I payed for it. This makes NO SENSE! They JUST WANT TO CHARGE YOUR MONEY WHATEVER TRICKY WAY IS COSTS THEM. I was trapped to come again and my gut was already telling me I don't want to. Unbelievable! So yes, I just gifted them a payment for general cleaning which obviously never happened. Wtf. 8. ONCE THEY GOT YOUR MONEY THEY NO LONGER CARE ABOUT YOU. I asked to send the billing reports, the prices, the pictures of teeth to me via email and it took me forever with texting them again and reminding like yo you promised to send it. 9. Overall. It supposed to be a nice bonus since I'm struggling with immigration and life isn't easy now. However was open to pay for extra work if needed cos I am not an ass who would just come receive a free stuff and go. I just wanted service to be done right. Turned out I NEVER received what was PROMISED COMPLIMENTARY. WAS CHARGED for service NEVER HAPPENED and WAS CHARGED for a terrible job UNACCEPTABLE FILLING. WAS REFUSED TO REDO. I will have to pay elsewhere to fix dr. Baseri's ugly work he refused to carry responsibility for. I have absolutely no words how unethically this company operates. Dr. Baseri you replied to previous unhappy girl with pretty similar situation that she made it up. Obviously she didn't. I never really write any reviews unless I truly feel like it has made a huge impact in my life and I really wanted to share my experience since Dr. Baseri and his teams were very not only kind and considerate but were very helpful AND accommodating. Due to my schedule of full time working in the health care field and still being a student, it was very difficult to find any dentist that would accommodate my schedule. This is what first caused me to delay my appointment. To make the long story short, I waited too long to the point where my teeth were in pretty bad condition. I visited my first dentist that was recommended by my insurance and not only the dentist failed to identify a tooth that clearly needed a root canal, but the dentist failed to address my concern which was the visible cavities. I was very disappointed and was willing to find any dentist who would take me in. Dr. Baseri and his team were kind enough to stay after hours just to treat me. Who does dental procedure close to 10PM??? De. Baseri and his team and I was really thankful that they really wanted to help me. The procedure itself was honestly painless and when I showed a subtle sign of sensitivity, the doctor made SURE that I was taken care of and not in pain during the procedure. I've met other doctors for other health related needs but Dr. Baseri, Omar (sorry if I misspelled!) and Stephanie (again sorry if I misspelled!) were really kind and understanding. And I think from a patient's perspective, having an amazing bedside manners is honestly just as important as having skills to do the treatment process. Dr. Baseri and his team really took care of my teeth condition late at night, cavity free on the same day appointment AND I was told to find a specialist to do the root canal. I would have root canal with Dr. Baseri but due to my study program schedule, I couldn't but if I had the chance I would have! Honestly hands down best dentist without exaggeration!!
