Of course, they have all of the greats that usually appear on an Indian starter menu - bhajis, samosas, dhal, and who could forget the popadoms served with home made pickles. Try not to fill up on them before the mains - a rookie mistake made in all good restaurants. The paneer tandoori is delicious, almost so delicious that you forget about the guilt you would usually feel if you were eating a plate of grilled cheese elsewhere. Slightly different to the usual curry houses, here you pick your main meat/veg and then choose from the list how you would like it to be cooked. It's great for those who are particular about their curry! Tandoori Nights is a classy, stylish and sophisticated Indian restaurant, well deserving of its food awards. Found this restaurant on Yelp after seeing such great reviews and I wasn't disappointed! At first, I was nervous my friend and I wouldn't get a table due to how busy the restaurant was but since we were only two people, we had no issue getting a table. Seating is tight! You are almost arm to arm with the individuals sitting around you which I actually found to be a great experience. My friend and I ended up striking conversation with the people next to us which led to a fun dining experience. Service was quick! We ordered food and it came out quickly and all waiters were super attentive. In terms of food, everything was absolutely delicious and portion sizes were huge! Ours had a random £15.75 added on in the middle of our string of main dishes. We hadn't noticed until we had already gotten back to our hotel, but seems a little suspect. This is the second time this has happened, once in another restaurant. Is this becoming a "London" thing? Also note their prices for beer and sodas published on their web menu vs what is on their physical menu in the restaurant. It's twice the amount in the restaurant for Kingfisher draft and for sodas.
